Took me years until I decided to give it another shot and I got the Platinum Trophy. BTW I had to play the game from scratch for the first time in a while on hard mode just to get the hard mode trophy, actually get the samaritan trophy that's only possible by doing them before getting the RYNO due to what I call the "Smuggler Problem". Because of playing on hard I skipped the other Agorian tournaments and it really came back to haunt me when the Alister fight came around along with the Argos one. When it comes to Argos you have to strategize when doing a neutral playthrough on hard. First you have to use weapons like the constructo pistol and bomb and the mag-net (YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH DAMAGE IT DEALS THE SHIP DESPITE BEING A CAPTURE WEAPON!!!!), then on Phase 2 you go full buzz blade on and you might use EVERY LAST ONE! FInally on the third phase because of the ship's pattern being hard to follow, make this the phase where you use the negotiator, plus for the Argos bombs you should probably keep a Mr. Zurkon to play it safe, it'll also work on the spawning agorians and you might be asking "why not just use it on the ship?" well that's because Mr. Zurkon doesn't even TRY to destroy the ship. So yeah, it's pretty frustrating trying to get 3 trophies on a hard playthrough. PLus, the second smuggler mission is just so cheap on a neutral hard run.

I found that changing the difficulty to Easy and then playing My Blaster Runs Really Really Hot makes a difference. There seemed to be more lives showing up and that was hugely helpful in getting the score required to earn the trophy. Of course playing with two people helps but since I had nobody with me, solo was the only option.

Im sitting at 98% with My Blaster Runs Hot trophy incomplete. Im dreading the frustration Ill have to go thru to get this. I hate it when games have trophies that are totally unrelated to the rest of the game play!

@MovieClips Yes I did. I came back to it a few years later. Got it within 10 minutes which I think was luck. It's a good thing cause if I didn't get it within 20 mins I wasn't going to waste my time on a stupid mini game that is half luck based. ;)

@MovieClips the trick is to save civilians, they drop power ups alot of the time and extra lives, the extra points are nice too.

I feel the struggle for this one. Already got 3 Ratchet Games on Platinum and they really want you to Grind :D But nevertheless, it's a great series and I'm enjoying every Game of this series. Looking Forward to hunt the Plat in this Part :D ... Great Work as Always, looking Forward for more, Keep that Up!

@@yukselaydin4473 I played a bit of it years ago. Didn't like it. Felt a bit too young. Other games felt like "for all ages." 2016's one felt like it was for kids. That is just my opinion though.

@@AdamMcDermott I glitched the 1 million bolts trophy by getting onto the hoverboard track and using the infinite bolt exploit because sorry I was not going to play through ratchet and clank 1 hd on 4-5 separate playthrough's just for that 1 trophy because this game as easy as some make it out to be is total nails in most areas. and it turned out in the end I needed a grand total of 600K more bolts for the million WTF!? I collected 200K after just 1 playthrough Adam. Collecting 1 million bolts in R & C 1 for the trophy is culmative. Collecting the 12 million bolts trophy in R & C 3 for the trophy is not culmative.

I definitely need to go back and play this game to get the platinum. Sadly my copy tends to skip in certain parts, even though there’s barely any scratches.

This was my first Platinum

Given ratchet can be equipped with a "millennium 12 omniwrench" I imagine that ratchet and clank crack in time story be set in the year 12,000. Millennium= 1000 years

I don’t know if you like the ratchet and clank remake but it’s actually really fun

People r complaining about this mini game but have they played flappy goat to get the trophy flappy master on goat simulator it took me a full day to get it and it was my last trophy and I was so happy when I got the platinum cos I never ever had to play flappy goat again

for some reason it never registered the trophies for this game til i actually started playing the game. every single other game ive just been at the menu an d trophies would be registered dunno why this one made me actually play the game before they showed up. anywhoo im now going for this one as well since i have all the other ones done and this is the last platinum i need for the ps3 ratchet and clank games save for all 4 one buti dunno if i want to buy that one

Comments are sorted by "new" so even if the video is old, I still see it. Regarding the samaritan trophy. It seems you are not alone with this trophy being glitchy. Never finished the 2016 game. It felt like instead of a game for all ages, it was a kids game at times. I kind of lost interest. Looking forward to Rift Apart though.
