He has your answers...and is pretty explanative as well by actually doing the work and not talking that much. Great channel.

He would have better luck doing this if he'd wear gloves when welding but maybe not when welding dissimilar metals together?

Rats love living in old vehicles.

When they are that bad, we would heat up the cylinder tube, below the cap and at the threads in the tube, with a torch and then use an air chisel at the spanner wrench knotch to loosen the cap. Worked 90% of the time. Hope it helps

Worth a shot to beat off the hydraulic cylinder cap before ordering new ones. Another option might be Princess Auto cylinders if there's a similar size, might have to weld the cross tubes off the old ones on them if they are a different size.

The ram is junk cut it off flush with the cap, then weld a longer piece of steel across the cap and really weld it, not tacky tacky, its cast. Then heat the threads and pull out your travelin purse. It'll come...or bigger pursen repeat

I just bought a yellow wire stretcher for that same reason..

Get a piece of steel plate,cut out a doughnut,then cut out one side that will fit around the ram,weld on a steel rod or something strong you can put a cheater bar onto,this way you have more welding surface and you are not blasting it with a hammer!!

Hey Chris how you doing buddy appreciate all your content but listen Forest fixing your skid steer if you can't afford a brand new cylinder arm a hydraulic ram want you to turn around by used one and then buy rebuild kit you know put seals and all that back into it and do it that way that's what I would have done I want to replace the whole hydraulic arm the ram I would just got to use one or a new one or two that old one would have went bye-bye so I'm going to waste my time with it
