I remember when Billy and Mandy made a whole episode as parody of Rat Fink, Maxwell Atoms seems to be a lover of gasser culture as well.
I was honored to see him years ago in a car show along with George Barris.May they RIP

Wow it’s a brand? I always saw these things growing up and assumed it was a pre-internet meme for USDM/Mopar guys.
I remember when this segment originally aired.
I had a R.F. T when I was a teen. Love the design and very creative. Cartoon influence can be seen anywhere during that time period, even in the auto industry.
Wow, at 72 years old I had long forgotten those days when you could buy an airbrushed T-shirt. What a trip to recall the excitement of that time and wearing one of those had painted shirts for the first time and for as long as possible Man, did I feel special? They really were colorful works of art.
A long revered Boomer relic
I'm a Fink, and I approve this message.

RIP Big Daddy Roth
I still can't get over the fact that Rat Fink has a theme song that was sung by the same guy as Camp Granada (although the Misfits cover version is more well known these days).
I remember seeing him in the Chrome & Flames magazines. Never really knew what it was about but I liked the weird cartoons
RIP Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (March 4, 1932 Beverly Hills, CA - April 4, 2001 Manti, UT--heart attack). Interestingly, Roth joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1974.

Lots of Cartoons magazine art influences here.
Still have an Old Skool Rodz mag of this
I wish he was still alive
I'm pretty sure this art appeared in a Butthole Surfers video...or maybe it was White Zombie. Either way, if it wasn't this, it was a blatant ripoff of it.

It was the days of crazy custom cars where there were only a few shops and people doing it and the days of surfing beach boys Jan and Dean and many others.

Supreme for Boomers
I remember seeing these as a kid and always thought the character was quite hideous.
R, I say R A
Take the stupid music out of this to fix it!
Me being a gothic/edgy autistic zoomer and knowing about all this because of my permanently 49-year-old father like:
