That little step backwards to freeze the defender and make space for himself - pure poacher's instinct. He's got a lot of work to do, but he could become a really good player at Man Utd.

You see that jumping right into the box to get a tap-in? That's the hallmark of striker. Man utd lacks that. It's one of the simplest goals in the eyes but it is the hardest. It calls for great awareness and timing. This is why Haaland scored so many for City. They find him all the time. I will choose Rasmus over Harry Kane for future sake.

Typical United fan. He'll never score more than 15 premier league goals in a season (probably average 8-12 at best), meaning he'll be between average or decent. Yeah hes insanely talented and has the potential to be elite. Big, strong, fast, good dribbler, good box instincts. Some work on his finishing and game IQ and he'll be unreal.

Yes that is one of his strengths, but IMHO he is a complete striker or will be in a few years, he can run channels, play as a targetman and be in the box to finish as a true no.9 and even have some basic dribbles skills his physics and mental strength is other aspects that give me hope that he will succeed in the best league in the world.

From a Liverpool fan, I think Højland is a great signing for Man Utd. He seems to be constantly involved in attacking options, and with better players around him, along with top coaching, he will surely become a force. He reminds me a bit of a young Michael Laudrup.

​@@Ali-jw3qn the total games he has played is 34 games but when you look at total minutes played, hehas played a total of 1897 minutes which is the equivalent to 21 games. He has 14 g/a in all comps in those minutes. So his overall output is very good actually when you look at the full context of those stats. so in reality is game average contribution is 0.67 g/a per game, Which is really good for a striker of his age. He has great foundations to be a complete st. Great physicality, good hold-up play, pace, intelligence at picking up runs and pockets of space, links well with team mates and a very good dribbler which is a winger like quality. And from this video he has the pacher instincts of a striker. Under the right coach which would most likely be ETH he will explode.

@@niko1ndex total BS. He scored 9 goals and had 2 assists in 1834 minutes. I am sorry but that doesn't equate to a Goal or Assist every 90 minutes. Even if you broaden the definition of success to include assists that still doesn't help his cause. BY way of comparison Goncalo Ramos scores a goal per 121 minutes in the league versus Hojlund a goal per 204 minutes. Hojlund has 2 assists the same as Ramos. Please don't include internationals against the 54th placed Finland and other such nonsense otherwise Scott McTomminy is also a world class striker.

Here is another stat, he only wins 36 percent of aerial duels! You would think a 6 foot 3 striker would dominate the air but he doesn't. His touch is Lukaku like and his finishing is rough and he isn't good in the air. BTW we just payed £64m plus add ons for this bum. Julian Avalrez cost just £14m and Haaland cost £51m plus add ons. Defend the price!

Do you see the passion and hunger compared to Martial? This guy wants to score or plays heads up to pass as well. He’s more like a Haaland/Cavani mix. He’ll score 25 goals this season.

Total minutes played is 1897 minutes which is the equivalent of 21 matches played in total in all comps. and he has 15 g/a in total. Context matters. It shows that he has good levels of productivity and Atalanta are mid table team in Seria A at best top 6 team. Hojlund will do amazing in a team where there are so many creators and high quality ones in the likes of Onana, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Mainoo, Mount, Erikson, Bruno, Sancho even Rashford. Rashford had very good linkup with Martial and is proven to do so with a really good partner.

@smisomkhize466 fortunate for us Atalanta didn't really know how to use him. Because if he had a better season i am sure many other clubs would have wanted him too. I've seen him for a while now and knew instantly i wanted him at United. So yeah i am glad we gotten him.
