@@ScarriorIII Actually, Tarja said in an interview with Kerrang magazine that she and Tuomas have been in touch, surprisingly. It sounds like the wounds are still raw, but maybe with time, one day, they can come back together again. It was a surprise to read, but it would be nice. Well, when you get hurt by someone you love, the wound is deepest. I listened early this year 2019 Tarja in Finnish television, don't remember exactly any more but she pretty much said there is no other contacts between her and Tuomas except e-mail and there's nothing happening between her and Nightwish.

I read somewhere that Marco was the only one close to her during the last tour with nightwish, the other guys barely spoke to her and vice versa

Tarja's and Marco's voices just match perfectly... The beauty and the beast

I don't know if it's random, but Marco going towards tarja's side of the stage gave me chills down my spine... loved the way she looked at him, it seemed like she wanted to hug him the whole time but was afraid of the reaction =')

Yes...I think the same (the reaction of the audience)...but somewhere I read that they met earlier before this concert in a preparation room or hotel (not sure)...Marco went to knock the door and she opened and they hugged a while without words. In Kuopio they did Ave Maria duo...check that...the audience is so happy to see them close and screams for joy.

I’d say that Tarja is so forgiving, considering Marko was the one who convinced Tuomas to fire her. I don’t know if she knew that or not. I’m just glad there’s no bitter feelings between them.

Well, Tarja has always sang Christmas songs, made an album of them, has Christmas tours... she studied (although classical) church singing after all.

Yes,Yes, Yes! I can't believe I see Tarja and Marco sing together again. It's like a Christmas present despite yet it's so far away from the good old Nightwish time. Still hope for the best in the near future.

Fairytail Princess: Yes...I agree that this is so nice that they can do shows together but this "Raskasta Joulua" is not a Nightwish Project. So better not to mix things. Yes...Troy is a good addition to NW but Floor is not an addition. She replaced Anette who replaced Tarja. Best and most genuine NW was done during Tarja's era.

She hasn't changed at all. If you believed what Tuomas said about her then you were fooled. stuff like she was acting like a Diva and wanted to cancel shows and yet her final show with Nightwish, which she didn't know was her final show, she sang with a flu having to take hydration and vomit breaks. That's hardly the act of a Diva. Also remember how the band lied so much about Annette and had to admit to it later.

both were trying too, this is what makes it even MORE special, both wanted it :)

Very pleasant, loved that Tarja kept the chest tone and didn't switch. Elize sounded really nice too. The first singer has a nice voice too. Have no idea who he is....Regarding the encounter, it seems forced and awkward, they are adults and mature and are just being polite, that is all. obrigada pelos vídeos Luís!

Ah, I see Elize finally learned the lyrics, too! 😊 Though even I as a non-Fin can clearly spot her voice in this choir by the air she puts behind her "t" consonants. Most Fins I've heard don't do that.

She ain't exactly a non Fin - she may be Swedish but not quite - she is 1/4 Fin it was on her IG page for a looong time. Also you can hear it in the sound of her voice, especially on the new songs when she lets it out bit more.

I want to hear Marko and Tarja record a song together for old times sake

Dear all...this is not Nightwish and has nothing to do with it. It is so nice to see Marco and Tarja again on the stage at the same time...but the original NW members Tuomas, Jukka and Emppu are not in here. This is a group of musicians who do Heavy style Christmas songs together.

before i go into this, i was listening to nightwish ever dream and it played i wish i had an angel with Tarja singing and after noticing that awkwardness on stage betweeen her and Marco, for some weird unknown reason, i wanted this, no complaints on my end for wanting this haha and as for this, the moment i can not wait to see again, is the moment i love, when Marco slowly makes his way to sing by Tarjas side and the smile on her face :)

Tarja intentó mirarlo a la cara en unas cuantas ocasiones y Marco desvió la mirada en todas las ocasiones. Ya se sabe quien es más profesional. Tarja sabe q si está interpretando un tema en grupo debe corresponder de vez en cuando con miradas a los demás para hacer más cercano el show. Pero Marco se te nota que hay aprecio de tu parte ya q cuando Tarja no miraba tu la miraste así como q no quiere la cosa. Se nota q quedaste atónito con la belleza eterna de Tarja... First words are: "thank you.... (hugs Tarja) "For a long time" Tarja: "yes, indeed.." And then its mumble-mumble... cannot figure out the words. I try to find better recording. EDIT. Something like "For too long actually"... and then "...we have to sing more soon" ... and last three words "it has been faded..." Apparently no better recordings available about this song or dialogue yet.

Marco: "It's been a long time." Tarja (repeats): "It has been a long time." Marco: "Too long." Then Tarja says something I can't make out but she might be asking how many years it's been because then Marco says: "Quite many." After that it's a bit hard tell but basically Marco is just saying they'll sing more later (I think referring to the Ave Maria which they're performing at the end) but that he has another song to perform by himself first.

This is how I heard it but it's extremely hard to hear and understand what they said because the crowd is so loud and the quality is so bad. Propably there is some mistakes in my translation so don't take this too seriously. Maybe someone can correct me. 5:19 Marko: Long time no see. Tarja (possibly says):Very long. Marko: Too long. Tarja (possibly says): How many years? Marko: Quite many. 5:26 Marko (possibly says): We have to sing a little more later, but as you said I should do this. Was I also guilty of it? Tarja (possibly says): I was. Marko: I was the guilty, you know. Marko (possible says): It's ('something') now.
