I think this is mid 2003 after Dallas left. This was the summer of 2003 and he just left. Spencer came in October 2003.

I believe this was late 2003, in 2002 Dallas was still in the band and the song would have different lyrics (look past the bright lights)

Jawxn yeah deffently this is late 2003 I wish Dallas stayed in the band and they ended up releasing Dear Misery I bet it would of been better than that emo shit they put out in 2004 although define the great line was a great album changing of times will always be my favorite

Chris Randazzo But wouldn't Dear Misery still be emo bullshit, but just with Dallas on vocals? If they were already writing songs in that vein like Look Past the Bright Lights and Coryn's Defeat (in other words, rough versions of TOCS songs), one would assume Dear Misery would still have that sound.

Zebrastripe 247 acutally no there’s another live video of them with Dallas from 2002 when they played Tennessee they played a bunch of tracks that were suppose to be on Dear Misery in the video and a lot of it was throwbacks to cries of the past mixed some of there changing of times formula . But there were some emo tracks like past the bright lights and coryns defeat

I don't think his screams are that bad actually considering the time. Glad Spencer was the chosen one though obviously.

2002 was a crazy exciting time full of everyone’s growing moments before we all figured Shit out this was so fun to watch

It's funny how much shit talking there was back then between bands/bandmates - "the scene...." a bunch of kids playing high-school with a better art program at the end of the day - Matt did his best - he was coming from Winter Solstice - if memory serves - I never knew them but they were always at the same shows because we all LOVED Ghost of a Fallen Age - who were the shit...I miss this and hate being old

Aaron’s arrangements suck so much ass lol. I get it maybe he was trying to steal the show since their lead was trash. However i have seen aaron perform this song solo and his arrangements kicked aaaaaass👍🏼👍🏼, but that was more in the recent years like 5 yrs ago when he was touring solo

You can tell by the vocalist screaming alone he suffers from depression so edgy well under oath are a depressing band so that’s a giving members in the band suffer from depression
