I was at that concert also with Nona getting the wrapped brick. Tower theater and still remember all the whistles in the audience. Best concert ever. They started this song on a seated on a riser behind a shim screen and finished on stage. Pure magic that night.

Rest in heaven Sarah Dash love Labelle this is my song.

Patti's lower register is so underrated!!!

The Supremes could have really had their own brand of harmony. It was evident on two of my favorite live albums by them, LIVE AT THE COPA and LONDON'S TALK OF THE TOWN, but due to division and ruthlessness, it killed in actually what really and truly could've been.

Stax of Funk No I des agree Nona wrote the songs that they sung I liked them just as they were Patti was not as good as with them talent all the way around true performance the close the style!!

I am so glad i was able to witness This FAB Group of Women just BUST INTO the Scene in the 70s by changing OUTFITS.Lord love LaBelle

patti always sang in her lower register back then; if you didn't know her you've never thought she could hit all those "Patti-sonic" notes she's so capable of doing like no one else can.

I definitely thought it superior to Isn't It A Shame. A good tune in its own right but this one was my favorite composition by Nona Hondryx.
