Thanks Class 38’s, it was very strange seeing the V sets out at Richmond. It’s always cool to see V sets on suburban lines and I’m glad to tick this one off my list

A nice little video all my years on the railway especially on the branch with steam rail motors diesel electric but never a v set.

The Richmond line has certainly seen a lot of trains come and go in its time, but a V set certainly is unusual to traverse this line. It was very fortunate that I found out about these training runs as it may very well be the last time a V set goes down there before they’re nothing but museum pieces.
