In this rare clip, we get to see Dame Edna Everage exploring the sights and sounds of Stratford Upon Avon, including a visit to Shakespeare's birthplace and Anne Hathaway's cottage.
Parts of this footage have been used on various programmes over the years, but this is the first time since 1976 that the full visit can be experienced.
As we follow Dame Edna on her journey, we also get to see rivetting scenes from some of Shakespeare's famous plays, as well as a tour of Shakespeare's school room.     I remember it. Especially the half timbered car line. The first time I came across Dame Edna. Thanks for the memories.

    I remembered her thinking the theatre was 16th century, Anne Hathaway had to haul herself along on the ropes and that he'd written Madam Butterfly.

    er.. I have a little confession to make... I've been SITTING on it for years :) but with the wonderful upgrades in soft and hardware, I have been able to restore it as much as i can. glad you like it... and stop matriculating!!
