*Rare* Fedex Airbus A310-324(F)(N808FD) arriving and departing Las Vegas!

Here's one of the last times LAS got to see Fedex's A310s coming into the valley before they got rid of them. This aircraft came from Lubbock, Texas before heading here, then departed back to their hub in Memphis! I had to wake up early for this catch, but it was well worth it! As of right now there are only 23 A310's left flying in the world. These are definitely the airframes to catch before they all become out of service! As always, I hope you enjoy the video!

Nice to see those old heavies! I wake up early and check if the FedEx MD-11F is coming to try to get one more shot before they retire them. Same for the UPS A300.

It's funny I don't think he was full flaps on that landing. Is partial flap landing SOP at Fedex ? I know the A310 is one of the rare bird (with the Fokker 100 and the brother A300) to have no flaps tke-off as SOP.

Yes it is, basically a smaller variant of the A300!

@@jordancollins7714 Cargo plane are usually limited by cargo weight before being limited by cargo space (Due to weight density) so shorter variant are fine for cargo.
