I ran away from home life at 12.. alone and scared, i was walking and found an empty church that i was shocked to find was unlocked... i saw old piano and sheepishly felt like i asked God to help me find some sort of peace and guidance.... I didn't know I could play Amazing Grace... ty God

it doesnt matter if he played for one lady and her furbaby or a crowd of 1 million... the fact her brought a smile and some joy to her day was worth every second of Terry playing...never a loss in my opinion... just another win for him!!!!!! always love it.. Terry is so humble and the almost famous line had me laughing as he is well known all over the world now... we love him.. keep up the great works Terry.. from a fan and a friend whom you not met yet.

With modern digital pianos you need to run it through a 'chorus' effect to get that traditional pub/honky-tonk sound.

Wonderful uplifting happy stuff Terry! I used to go to The Bull when my friend Cassie was booked in there as their singer for Christmas. Cass is a piano teacher, flute teacher music theory teacher as well as a singer but sadly for me she moved to Spain. Thoroughly enjoyed that Terry and what a shame that our heritage of organs, old pubs and open churches with a piano seems to be getting thinner and thinner on the ground. Cheers again Terry

Hello Terry Miles there's a new public pipe organ installed in the 'Whitgift Shopping Centre' at Croydon, UK. You should go check it out and performs in front of the public.

Hi Terry, if your still around the area pop to Harwich.(about half hour from Woodbridge) There's a church there with a pipe organ. And if you come on a Sunday afternoon be sure to pop in the the Swan Inn, always local musicians having a jam there. And real beer. You would love it.

70,000 people can't be wrong, as usual just brilliant !

Well done Terry. With a tip of the hat to Jesus and Mexican music, boogie woogie goes well everywhere. Wonderful antique upright grand. These big old uprights should all be kept, tuned and played like they were intended over 100 years ago. My 1902 57" Schaff Bros upright grand loves to feel that boogie beat. Amazing, please visit the White Horse in Thelnetham if you're that way, there is an 1885 type piano there, still in tune as well and we're still raising the money to buy the pub.

The lady and her dog reminds me of my time while stationed at RAF Lakenheath back in the mid 1980’s. My local village, Mundford, has a hotel called the Crown. Every Sunday an older gentleman (probably in his late 80’s) came in with his dog and had a pint. He would buy a half pint for the dog who would drink his beer from the glass while sitting on the chair at the table. Regular as clockwork those two were…..I was there every Sunday as well, after the local rugby game, playing darts or dominoes. I was the only American living in the village at the time. What fun! @@TerryMilesPiano Hi Terry, Eileen and Elsie! Terry, I love eating oysters too! I love seafood but it's hard to buy fresh seafood in Northern Ireland. I love having steam fish and fried big prawns with ketchup but can't find any good fresh fish or good prawns here. I miss the food in Hong Kong. Yes, I am still in the UK because I lost my home in Hong Kong. I put my brief story under the description of my latest upload - Tears In Heaven. The UK government granted me a 5-yr visa recently. I will then in the meantime stay in the UK and go back to Hong Kong from time to time for legal stuff. Btw, I thank you for introducing "Only You" to me during your live streams months ago. At that time I didn't know the name of the song and I called it the "pa da da da song"... hahaha. I finally have learned it and sung it. I did tag your channel to thank you. I uploaded it around a week ago. Hope you like it. All the boogie best, Terry and your family!💕

This is excellent to see, th sound of this piano reminded me of very hot early summer day when my brother and I popped into an old timber build hall, in the French Quarters of New Orleans, at first we thought it was and an empty old church hall with its wooden benches, with not a soul around, 15 minutes later the place was full of people and shortly after a band of about 9 very old jazz musicians walked out on to the low level stage and let rip, with the group was an old lady piano player with a bell stepped to her leg, this concerts was one of the greatest surprise I ever witnessed in music, We later learned that we had stumbled in to the world famous Preservation Hall

Bravo!

What a fantastic sound that instrument makes. What stories it could tell. Oh and be careful with these oysters!

Wow... how the Bull has changed over the years! Was so handy for a lunchtime pint when working at the Shire Hall in the 70s!

Awesome! if you're ever passing you should go to The Stag in Hinton Charterhouse just outside of Bath. They have a nice Piano, also Chris Martin from Coldplay popped in for a pint and played it last year.
