When coin has an error, it becomes valuable. When I make an error, I get scolded. Go figure.

That is a very good question! There is also a German commemorative coin from Hessen with a similar error that I know of. I would say that there are more coins with this error, but they are very rare.

I started following you within the last couple of months and have become obsessed with coins, I check them all the time now. I have two German coins with the same bird on the back from 2002 and the very small printed letter below the right foot of the bird is two different letters one is the letter D and the other is G. Hello SIR20LEGEND. Yes, German coins have different letters stamped on them. The Letter D stands for Deutschland (Germany) and is on every German coin except the common commemorative coins. The second letter stands for the mint house the coin has been minted in: A Berlin D Munich F Stuttgart G Karlsruhe J Hamburg

I used to have a similar 2€ coin more than 10 years ago 😲...! I swear! I've always loved to look at the coins. The particularity of the coin I had was so strange, weird that I found it kind of ugly. Hello Joe. Germany has 5 different mint locations. Each one is identified by a letter. The F on your coin means that your coin was minted in Stuttgart whereas coins with the letter A are minted in Berlin. Here is the complete list of the mints of Germany and the corresponding mint mark: A: Berlin D: Munich F: Stuttgart G: Karlsruhe J: Hamburg

I have a 1 portugal euro from 2007 and this euro have 1 line more ap front that cuts trough coin. i never so coin like that and i wanna know is there a special value to it. Please help me 😅

Hello ΙС ΧС ΝΙΚΑ. The value of this coin is actually pretty reasonable. There are German euro coins that have been sold for more than 4000€ at auctions.
