I have yet to try the spray mink oil, but I love conditioning my shoes with actual leather conditioner and giving it a "spit shine" finish after. They always come out so shiny and buttery.

Ok, I finally have a question...I've seen you guys or rather you (Vic) do quite a bit of these restos on Jordan 1s. Once you've separated the uppers from the mid and outsoles, why is it necessary to remove the adhesive with a knife that's removing leather from the uppers at the same time? Is it not possible to just dremel or utilize some other technique that gives you the surface area needed and doesn't require you to remove as much material from the uppers?
Amazing!...I have a pair of Jordan 8's and a pair of Air Tech Challenge 2's that need to brought back to life...do you take customers?
For me it's easy it's the 2020 limited run of reverse breds. Not only did they finally get the shape correct but honestly the more I compare between the og colorway and the reverse bred I like the sample way better. But that's just me

How do you recommend to properly store your kicks without any of that expensive vacuum bag stuff? Mine are corrently in their OG box and paper in my dark dry closet is that okay?

Yes we do. With the amount of content we're working on editing in 4k slowed us down quite a bit.

Do you know someone who repairs sneakers ? I got some 18s separating.
The Jordan 1 wasn't even the shoe banned by the NBA. Before Jordan wore the Jordan 1, he wore the Nike Airship sneaker in a red and black colorway which was the actual banned shoe. And they weren't even banned, he just got fined for wearing them. And he had plenty of money himself and from the company to pay for each time he wore them.

I think the stitch problems are standard Nike issues. I always thought the issue was that the year inside the shoe is wrong. It’s either supposed to be 85 instead of 86 or something like that. I’ll have to check my pair. All of them have the wrong year
I have a pair of 95 chicago 1s that need a sole swap asap
The date on the insole and sock liner should be 1984, that’s why the official release was scrapped.

The date stitched on the inside is also wrong. Another reason why they went to outlets.

what's crazy is that Nike actually lied about this shoe. The bred 1s were never banned, it was the Airships. Couldn't we sue Nike for false advertising.
