Love your reviews ❣ (and, we have similar, though not exactly the same, dimensions - which is additionally helpful for me.) I am 3 months in to my wig adventure, and have found that Alive, so far, is a fave -- with the flouncy n fanciful layers breaking up the length of my face and feeling light and fitting well -- even without grip or cap, though mildly cinched adjustment) I tend to like layers, medium shaggy styles, or a sassy bob w layers somewhere around the face). SO, all that is to say I'd been eyeing Simmer, but heard it was a tad large. When the elite petite was released, I was very excited to see what YOU had to say, and voila, you seem to give a huge thumb's up. Also, finding wigs in the light brown (but NOT too blond highlighted) continues to be a tough, persistent challenge. ESPECIALLY w Ellen WIlle, whose Alive I now own in hot mocca rooted (and love, though wish it were just a TAD lighter) I am light w neutral to cool undertones, and surprisingly, the most ashy/cool colors are NOT the most flattering -- possibly due to my, ahem, WISE YEARS, ahem... So, while TOO warm/gold is AGING and just unflattering skin-tone wise for me, a little warmth somewhere seems flatter and bring light, and youthfulness to my face... Anywho, I guess I am seeking your opinion on two color-related questions: if you think the SS Iced Cafe Latte would be read as more blond/bronde, and therefore too light for my fair complexion, or whether a color like Hazelnut shaded would be better suited for me in the Simmer Elite Petite.... AND, regarding Ellen WIlle Alive, do you think the Bernstein rooted would be an option to try for a brunette girl wanting to go a little lighter for summer, or whether I should stick with the hot mocca rooted and just get another backup in that color? Lastly, for mid length wigs (I don't like showing my jaw line if possible) do you have any recommendations for a style/brand that is good for regular/petites, THAT ARE BETTER for summer humidity, AND/OR GYM WORKOUTS (pur Barre, TMI) Thanks for any of your thoughts. You are such a pleasure to follow. You are informative and uplifting !

Thank you! So to address your questions, I do think if you want more warmth, the Shaded Hazelnut is a gorgeous color! For Ellen Wille, the Bernstein is a warm rooted color with golden blonde and the hot Mocca rooted is more red, so it just depends on how you think gold vs red works with your skin tone. Hope that’s helpful for you! 🩷🩷

I LOVE the hot mocca rooted Alive color, but if IT were a TAD lighter brown base, overall, would be perfect. Folks seem to like some brond highlights on me, so I look for that as well. As for your last question/reply.... I think I'd like an 'exercise' style that could be put into a ponytail / or updo away from face while working out. FWIW, I am NOW watching your 2 yr old review of Alia petite and wondering IF IT might be worth my trying that new brand, Jon reneau, as a lighter/shorter summer wig (not necessarily for exercise). SO sorry for the ramblle; it's 3AM, and I"m trying to cobble a late night wig order ....I can't wait until I am familiar enough with sizing/styles/brands that work best for me so I don't feel so overwhelmed and lost. Tx again !

Thanks for posting. Always check out your reviews first along with hey wig sister although our measurements are closer so it’s nice to see how it looks on you. 2 questions: 1. Do you have a video of know of one that compares a popular color (like JR 12fs8) with other brands that have similar shading? I do well in cooler tones although as long as it has a neutral root and cool tones mixed in that works. 2. Loved your reviews of Eclat and EW as her caps fit well. Waiting on an order that finally shipped in eclat Sandy blonde rooted. I’ve ordered several EW and pearl blonde rooted is a gamble - should be cool and is very much so in my elite wig but looked terrible (platinum mixed with yellow/ honey) in the Eclat (this was clearances so may not by typical. Then I got deligjt in Sandy blonde rooted and although I adore the style (mine has the same front sweeping wave bang that yours did when you reviewed). However, the color again is pretty yellowish with definite reddish shading and it washes me out some. The reason I’m returning is not color but the ear tabs fall about an inch above my ears so there is no coverage there! Again, no other EW or any wig has had that issue. Do you think it’s just this particular wig or unique to that style? Haven’t heard this in reviews. I have never returned anything online (even to amazon) so I really take a good amount of time watching reviews, making sure some are by regular people (not models) and include some with those who have similar measurements. Even with this though it’s a total gamble. Pearl blonde rooted pretty much everywhere is stated as cool but mine was definitely warm. I can totally accept variation in shading as each wig will have some change in placement but I can’t wear strong warm tones without looking sallow. Taz did corroborate this as she is the only one I found who had a review of 2 Eclats, both in pearl rooted blonde rooted. One she said was warm and the other definitely cool. I thought they used the same colors/ shades with variation in placement but am baffled when the same style/ color comes in different tones. Because of this, I’ve limited my sales to 2 companies who accept returns. I’m never the type to impulse buy without researching first but this isn’t even sufficient. Because of this and the price of wigs, I can’t order from sites that do not allow returns (or only 1, then your stuck). The only exception is the Eclat but it was over $300 cheaper from uk. Sorry for rambling on, I just am having a hard time finding cooler blonde shaded that aren’t overly platinum. Public speaking is a regular part of my job and while I used to love it and still do, i do feel more self conscious. I had thick dark blonde hair that I used to highlight and lost it all in December. I bought a jon renau wig from a shop that had to order twice as first wig had frayed lace upon arrival (but beautiful swingy hair in a 100%.hand tied cap. All sales are final so second wig I inspected the lace and took home. Hair has never had any swing and clumps/ tangles if I sneeze. Pampered the wig using only distilled water to wash (2x/month) and now at month 2 it’s embarrassing to wear in public. If I swing my head, the hair will stick out in every direction. Only products used are JR shampoo/ conditioner and just got some detangler. I called JR and the rep confirmed they’ve had to outsource some of their materials and find alternate factories post Covid. Obviously, some are inferior as he woudk not be in business if quality was always like this. I have found much superior hair fibers with every single other brand I’ve tried (EW, RW, estetica) and his was non HF, all hand tied. To make a long story longer, I just want to add that I love love your reviews and hope you keep making them. Would love to know your top 5 or 10 wigs?! Thanks

Thanks for watching my reviews. For JR color comparisons, I would just search Jon Renau 12fs8 color comparisons and see if you find anything. I don’t know of one off hand. There have been some quality and color issues since Covid for sure. EW colors are known to look different on different styles, but I didn’t realize there was that much variation in the same wig. Wigs are done in lots, so I guess that’s why there was variation in that color. I don’t usually have 2 of the same wig in the same color to compare. I know all of these things make wig buying very frustrating for the consumer! So sorry to hear that!🩷

Love the thought of a petite cap and she looks so nice on you ! But, I have to ask, which do you prefer, this one or Belle Tress Caliente? Thanks!

Do the fibres feel very silky on this wig ? If you can compare to Ellen Wille heat friendly wigs please ? I have recently purchases Mirage and fibres feel very nice quality. I was just wondering how Raquel Welch one is in comparison? It really does look so natural and lovely on you 😍

Thanks! It’s hard to do styling on camera so I may have pulled it back too tightly so that I exposed more of the underside of the ear tab. I’m very impressed with this hairline🩷
