AHH the Tangled Series is INCREDIBLE!! I’m not even kidding when I say that I think I binged all three seasons in probably 4 or 5 days, it’s just so good😭 The overall plot gets really deep, all of the characters and storylines are so well written, and the songs are INSANELY GOOD (also Jeremy Jordan is in it so mega bonus). Anyways yes it’s just amazing so definitely keep watching hahaha🤣

@@skywalkerpanyt yep. Though, the actual anniversary date of Mary Poppins is this August. So he is unable to attend that day. Much like how two years ago, Gilbert Gottfried died months before the 30th anniversary date of Aladdin, but at least lived to the year of it. At least we still have Dick Van Dyke for the Mary Poppins anniversary date this year, hopefully, since he's currently 98.

Nothing against the video, I always love seeing them but hearing the parc characters talk about the series like it is canon completely ruined my day. I despise the series so much, it ruined the whole movie and the beautiful love story for me. It's so cruel what they did to Flynn, that they turned him into the dumb boyfriend side character and made everything just about Cassandra. And I hate it how they turned rapunzel into such a toxic girlfriend who lets everyone insult him, keeps secrets from him and rejects his proposals even though she was willing to give up her entire freedom and basically her entire life for him in the movie. And her now considering marriage a prison and saying she wont give up her freedom for him seems so ridiculous because she literally wanted to give up her freedom for him in the movie! I hate this rejecting marriage thing so much! Such a relationship could never work in real life and people should stop acting like it could! There is absolutely no reason to stay together if one person doesnt want to marry the other! And what I hate about this the most in this context is that they are basically saying that it's Not ok to marry someone whom you deeply and truly Love after a few months but it's OK to try to give up your entire freedom and basically your entire life for someone whom you Just met three days ago. If they Love each other that much that they would do Something Like that after only having known each other for a few days than their Love is so strong and true and then they could and should marry after a Short time Especially considering the time period the movie is Set where they could only truly be together after being married. And If Disney wanted to Show a couple Not marrying so soon they should have taken a different couple than Rapunzel and Flynn because they proved how deeply and truly they Loved each other after a few days and since they almost Lost each other it would make Sense that they wouldn't want to lose more time together after they saw how Short life can be and besides, their Story Takes place in a time where people married early. They should have rather Had Tiana and Naveen marry only after a few years because they dont seem Like they fit very well together and didnt try to die for each other after a few days and furthermore their Story Takes place in the 1920s, Not the 1700s. They would have been perfect for Not marrying immidiately, Not Rapunzel and Flynn who seem like the worst candidates for this in my opinion. And that whole rejecting marriage plotline is the worst Storyline I've ever Seen. They send the Message that marriage is a prison even though you Love each other and that is such a horrible Message. And it's Especially horrible how in the Episode beyond the Corona walls, it seems Like that she never wanted to marry him at the beginning of the Episode which raises the question why the hell she is even still with him If a life with him seems so horrible to her and also why the hell she wouldn't want to marry the man she Loved that much that she wanted to Go to prison for for all eternity in the movie. It Just doesn't make any logical Sense and is inconsistent with the movie and also the Wedding Short where she looked so deeply in Love and so incredible Happy. It Just doesn't make Sense that she would have rejected the proposal before. And whats worse is that in that Episode it seems Like she only changed her mind about marriage because Stalyan wanted him which makes it seem like she only wants him when another girl wants him which is so incredibly toxic. If someone considers marriage as a prison, then that means they are subconsciously thinking about cheating or breaking up! I analyzed this once in school about a book where a guy who considered marriage as a prison in a similar way as Rapunzel in this stupid series, ended up cheating on his girlfriend! And that is precisely what would happen in real life! When someone rejects marriage, the relationship is over! And I'm pretty Sure the writers of Tangled intended for tangled ever After to Take place shortly after the movie because the little girls of the movie seemed to be the Same age in the Short and Wikipedia also states it was originally intended to Take place immediately after the movie. The series Just doesn't seem believable and seems Like it Takes place in a completely different universe as the movie. And I Just can't consider it Canon because of all These reasons and it's obvious that it was written by someone else than the movie. So, Right now I Just Count it as Not Canon to still be able to watch the movie. If I Had to Count it as Canon, then I Wish Flynn would have stayed dead at the end of the movie and wasnt brought back to life. It would have been a very sad and tragic ending but it would have at least been better than showing such a toxic relationship between two characters who were both trying to sacrifice themselves for each other. Sorry for the rant but I just hate this series so much and I can only still enjoy the movie if i consider it not canon but hearing the parc characters talk about it always ruins my day!

Hi! I just tried to comprehend your comment, and there is a lot there haha! It’s good to have your own opinions! Tangled the Series is actually does do a very good job at following the movie and is pretty realistic to what would happen in real life. Imagine you lived in a tower your entire life, never have experienced anything in the outside world. Then a person shows up to the tower and shows you your whole life is a lie and that the person you love and trust with all your heart is actually not who she says she is. Not to mention also discovering that you are the lost princess and have an entire new unknown life. After 18 years of being brainwashed, that would be a lot to take in! So yes Rapunzel loves Eugene at the end of the movie, but she’s only known him for just a few days! So they leave the tower, and return to Corona which is a whole new world for Rapunzel. She is still trying to take everything in and if it were me personally, I would certainly have trust issues! Even if you were 100% sure that all the people you just befriended were genuine. So the series begins with her getting adjusted to her new life and taking the responsibility where she realizes she will be queen one day. And she is still getting to know her parents, she’s still getting to know Eugene, she’s still getting to know the world! So of course when Eugene proposes she doesn’t say yes, she hadn’t even thought about the possibility of her getting until she met him. So to jump into that after taking in the new world would be a lot. Also she’s still learning to trust people after learning the truth about Gothel! Not to mention there is a lot going on as well in their kingdom with the rocks taking over and such. There is not ever a right or perfect time for marriage. And for everyone it’s different! Yes they love each other, and that can leave you wondering why wouldn’t they get married sooner, but for some people it can be a scary thing! Some people do need time even if they know that they are with the person who is right for them. And some people jump on it immediately. But it is a different process for everyone. And in no way is it implying that marriage is a prison! If anything it’s teaching people that marriage is a serious commitment, and not something you should just rush into without any thought. You are talking about spending the rest of your life with this person, and people who jump into marriage may have not though everything through, which could lead in conflict later on and even divorce. Rapunzel seeing Eugene with Stalyan isn’t the only reason why she changed her mind about marriage. It just made Rapunzel realize that she really does love Eugene and that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him! In that episode Rapunzel actually mentions that she hadn’t actually ever been to a wedding before too. So like I mentioned, the whole idea of marriage is fairly new to her and not something she imagined could happen with her. It was just a fantasy she read about in her books. (if her books she had even talked about marriage) And fun fact, the writers originally planned the proposal to take place years after the movie! At the end of the 2010 movie, Eugene says “But I know what the big question is; did Rapunzel and I ever get married? Well I'm pleased to tell you. After years, and years of asking, and asking, and asking. I finally said yes.” And a lot of the people who worked on the movie actually returned for the show as well! They knew there was always going to be more to the story since the beginning, and if anyone thought it wasn’t right for the story they wouldn’t have joined the show. That’s why Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi both came back, because they knew there was more to the story too! Anyways, the writers did a fantastic job on this series, taking a girl who knew nothing and showing us how she reentered her new life. She had to learn what it meant to trust people, and how to be a good friend. She also had to face a lot with the rocks as well as her own friends going through their own personal journeys and their struggles. And after everything they went through, she finally was able to grasp what it meant to really live a life, and to chase your dreams. And she finally was certain at the end of the series that Eugene was her new dream, and after all that they had been through they would certainly be able to face anything that came their way in life:)

It's Just a promise to stay together and she would want that If she truly Loved him! Abd I Just dont get why is marrying considered a Bad Thing but trying to give Up your entire freedom for a Guy you Met a few days ago ok? I could understand everything you say If she wasnt willing to give Up her freedom for him in the movie but she was! Like this it Just seems unbelievable! And there is No reason to stay together If one Person rejects a marriage proposal because where on earth is the relationship supposed to Go othersise??? And If she wants to marry him someday, they should have Just been engaged for a year or two!!! But Out right rejecting marriage is Not a healthy relationship and yes, they Always implied marriage is a prison especially in that awful Episode beyond the Corona walls!!! There it is mentioned and implied several Times!!! And If someone considers marriage a Trap, they are subconsciously thinking about breaking Up or cheating!!!! That is Just Basic psychology!!!! And If someone considers marriage a prison, they shouldnt even have a relationship! Period! I analyzed that in school about a book where it was almost The Same as in the series, and this book ended with the Guy cheating on His Girl friend and that is what would Happen in this scenario especially considering how Rapunzel Always Puts Cassandra over him. She lets her insult him, keeps Secrets from him and even draws His face in a punching bag Just for Cassandra and you are calling this a healthy Relationship??? What exactly am I Missing Here? And Just Imagine the roles were switched! Imagine a Guy would let His best friend Always insult His Girl friend without saying a word, keep Secrets from her, Draw her face on a punching bag and reject her proposal! Then everyone would call it a toxic relationship and want them to Break Up but If a Guy is treated Like that, it's okay! Thats such a Double Standard and its ridiculous! And its so cruel how they completelly ruined Flynns character and Made him so stupid and changed His personality!! I refuse to believe the one in the movie and the one in the series are the Same character!! And what I hate the Most is that they have to Bring in such modern nonsense Like rejecting a marriage proposal in a fairytale Set in the 1700s!!! A fairytale is Not supposed to be modern and realistic, Its supposed to be an idealized Version of reality and of Love! It's supposed to make Things right (to quote walt Disney from saving Mr Banks) maybe Not in life but in Imagination. It's what we Storytellers do, we restore Order with Imagination, we Install Hope again and again. And its obvious that people Just want to See their own toxic relationships in a fictional Story which is Just narcissistic! And sorry to Break your illusion, but a relationship Like that could never Work in real life! It Just can't Work If one Person wants to get married and the other doesnt because then one Person Always has to give in and in this Case Flynn Always hast to give in and If they hadnt turned him into a complete simp, He wouldnt have allowed it!!! Such a relationship could never Work! Period! And any excuse they give for why she doesnt want to marry is inconsistent with the movie!!! There she wanted to give Up everything for him because she Loved him so much!!! Why is everyone Always forgetting that Scene??? You dont try to do that for someone you're Not even Sure you want to stay with and with whom you consider marriage a prison!!! Why did they have to Bring in such nonsense to a Story where both we're willing to sacrifice themselves for the other??? Why is that OK and marrying Not?? Sorry but any other Disney couple would have been better to Show such modern nonsense than Rapunzel and Flynn!!! And I never thought that Last quote in the movie was supposed to be taken literally. I Always thought it was Just an exaggeration and a Joke which would fit with His character and she corrects him after He Said that, so I Always thought this was Just about who proposed Not that she rejected him! And tangled ever After certainly doesnt Look Like its Set years after, it Looks Like its Set at Most a few months later which would be believable! Only a couple where both are asexual could wait years before being truly able to be together and their Kisses dont Look Like eithr of them is asexual! And I have every reason to be upset about this because in the Original fairytale she accepted the proposal the First time and considered marriage Not a Trap but a liberation and the Original is part of my culture because i am German. So If everyone Talks about people net respecting their culture I can say the Same Thing about this! But you know what? Continue living in your illusion that such a relationship could Work and is healthy. You will See that it can't and that it's toxic. And it makes me sick that Disney is teaching that this is healthy and that everyone believes that! Comment what you want, I won't ready it anymore, I know from experiences and psychology studies what is right and what isnt and you can't Change my mind! This series ruined the beautiful Love Story of the movie for me and I will never Like it and never forgive the writes!
