In this episode we try UPOL Raptor Liner. We used the tintable version so we could do different things in different colors. Hope this video helps someone out and don’t forget to subscribe to the channel.

Of course brotha !
I took my steps off because I think the Excursion looks better without them. I'd love the Amp power steps but they are expensive. I still have my old steps so I may try this and put them back on. It looks really good!

Thanks brother. Yes I didn’t like the look of them till I raptor lined them. Now I actually like them better than the amp steps.
Looks awesome... may need to do mine in RED

Yes sir we have a 5” super lift coming and we upgraded it to the bilstein shocks. I also had add a adjustable track bar on the truck that I’m going to be removing to just do the track bar bracket.

@@FitMafiaBuilds Awesome man! I currently have a 3" Rough Country on mine but plan on going taller.
Did you sand or prep the plastic at all before adding the adhesion promoter? How has it held up??
@FitMafiaBuilds

Yes I scuffed then you with a purple scotch pad then we applied bulldog adhesion promoter. They have held up really well still look like the day I sprayed them with no chips.
I’m having these done to my running boards. I have aluminum ones and the paint has gotten flakey

Nice. It has held up really well so far. Hope yours turns out just as good.
How well did the raptor bond/hold up without sanding?

I want to do the same thing to mine, and if I can avoid sanding, I would be pumped.

I just went over them with a scotch bite pad. They have been find for a while with no peeling. I also don’t drive it that much so I’m not sure how it would be if it was used daily.
How have they held up after several months of use?
@FitMafiaBuilds

I am very particular with my truck so I don’t even step on them. I have done a couple of sets for people that use there truck every day and it seems to hold up really well. Just have to make sure you scuff it up properly and get some adhesion promoter on it.

I sprayed the bed of my 2002 f150 lariat about 8 years ago and just sold the truck a month ago and it still did not have 1 flake or anything, looked absolutely perfect still. This stuff is tough as it comes and very high quality. It does depend heavily on you’re prep work like everything though
Were the steps primed or bare metal? I couldn't tell.

No they were the original steps from the excursion made from plastic.
How has this held up for you?

It has been fine. It’s not a daily driver or anything but hasn’t peeled or flaked off.

@@FitMafiaBuilds My step up bars already have a black textured finish but I wouldn’t mind putting a coat of this on there later on. I think it looks great in this video
No respirator, geez.

It’s very low overspray with the raptor liner but I still should have been wearing a respirator.
