As mainly a metal fan, I have a huge respect for hip hop fans for catching intricate lyrics and the meaning of songs in general. Have learned tons just watching reactions about songs I've been listening to for a long time but never really payed proper attention to.

Fun fact Eminem inducted Run DMC into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame he said the only Hall of Fame I'll be inducted into is the alcoholic Wall of Shame but now he is actually inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 50 year old still killing it and congratulations great energy and reaction see you on the next one

The hate he gets is because he's white. And other black rappers look at him like he stole their ideas, even though he's invented more words than any other rapper. If Eminem was black he'd be held up as the world's best rapper but he's white so he's maybe top 10 at best.

The most unique thing about Em, is that aside from his lyrical mastery and references his rap skills is so good and fast but you can clearly hear every word he says

First word is "I'm" last word "god". Em puts all kinds of things like that in his lyrics.

I sometimes stop his songs so he can breathe and so his lungs don’t hurt

This is why i miss this Era of music. It took multiple listens to catch all the bars. For newer music, you hear it once. You pretty much memorize the entire song. Which I understand. I’m sure others pointed it out to them and they had to look it up. They’re too young to have seen Max Headroom live on MTV. And if someone was born in the mid 80s, then they aren’t going to remember Max either, because they would’ve been five years old by the time 1990 came around. I was born in ‘75, so I knew the reference immediately when I first saw the music video for this song (and the plug going into the back of Em’s head is obviously a Matrix reference). P.S. Back in the ‘80s, the music videos were overwhelmingly by and for the white community, so it’s even less likely that these two would have been watching MTV back then.

I saw your reaction and I went to the MGK one. You guys forgot MGK quit rap after that and went to rock. That’s how bad he did. That’s why he never replied. He blew up as soon as Dre sign him as soon as his first song Shady came out that was it and it was wild ever since. He just got inducted in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame. And he’s so humble too. I love Eminem Eminem‘s always gonna be revolutionary within hip-hop he broke waves. He brought the white kids from the cul-de-sac to black kids music. He brought all new listeners and a new way of doing it. and he still doing it. being around for Eminem was just amazing and I was a hip-hop fan wave before Eminem. I was fan when NWA came out.
