Mayor Breed isn’t the cause of crime in the city but as mayor, she is responsible for addressing it or she’ll be voted out of office. For her surrogates to say she’s not responsible is insulting to the electorate. Chino Yang has nothing to apologize for.

Is London breed magically supposed to appear out of thin air every time somebody wants to commit a crime in SF and she’s supposed to tell him “don’t you commit that crime” people have really lost all critical, thinking ability

Reverend Amos Brown and this group of community leaders need to apologize to China Yang. ALL lives matter. He just pointed out the inequality of how San Francisco and California lawmakers have prioritized Black Lives Matter over Asian Lives Matter. If this group is smart, they will take this perspective into account and work towards solutions that address everyone in San Francisco rather than driving a wedge between our communities. We are all San Franciscans and need to work together and respect each other's perspectives.

You're delusional if you're referring to the lame statement Dr. Brown issued on Jan 9,2024. Nowhere in that statement did he apologize nor did he even say sorry. He just states it was not his intention and called what happened "unfortunate". I'm still waiting for the apology.

Crazy how freedom of speech is becoming limited over time and to the point it’s become less. I hope the Asian community puts forth another candidate to run for mayor and get rid of London Breed. The nerve of the reverend going after the man for harmlessly expressing his feelings. I wonder if the reverend was out there criticizing BLM when they were “mostly peacefully protesting”, aka looting, killing, burning and destroying. What happened to all the talk of “our diversity makes us stronger” that the California politicians like to tout? I think the Asian population has a long history in San Francisco and are just as vested in seeing the city flourish as anyone other group.
