i feel that detroit/ machine gun line is a triple. you said 2 meanings. it could be a reference to the motor city machine guns which was a pretty well known wrestling tag team whos member were from detroit. knowing eminem refers to wrestling a lot i could see anderson paak throwing in a wrestling reference as an em feature.

"Stillborn" meaning a lifeless child that's been delivered still and not moving, they are also dead but they are " still born" "still delivered"

Definitely one of the more underrated songs from the album

I remember the days when Anderson P was still underground and doing songs and tours with Watsky. Then he blew up after being all over Dr Dre last album and now he is on a second song with Em. Cool to see it

The incredible hulk line was also a triple... cause it's incredible hulk, money in bulk, weed in bulk, and also the incredible hulk is bulky as in muscle mass. The Neverland bar was insane, it was like a quadruple with an extra slider on top.

This is one of my favorite songs on the album! Love Anderson Paak's voice! Great collab. That beat goes hard, too! It's definitely a vibe. This album is 🔥🔥 I never caught that Machine Gun/Michigan line. You break things down so well! And I don't think that was too far of a stretch regarding second hand. I absolutely love how Em likes to play with syllables by extending them in his flow pattern and how he likes to kinda makes one syllable seamlessly flow into the next. Such a difficult task for most rappers he does without effort it seems like.

Eminem is just on another level.

Also “steel born” could be referring to all of the “stillborn” Rappers firing shots all over, but all he gets is flesh wounds so he can heal them all with Neosporin.

Personally I like the hook of Leaving Heaven more, this one is more technical with cadence and ad-libs aiding it, but leaving heaven has a super heavy boom-bap beat with risers that build up to skylar grey singing a super powerful hook, plus em usually builds up to those hooks a little more than on here.

Eminem is like part of the beat

@@KnoxHill I bought the MTBMB digital album as soon as it dropped and have the physical copy of the MTBMB album. (I have a weird thing about wanting the actual album of certain artists. Lol) I drive 30-45+ mins to and from work every day and I bump this song on repeat. (Unless traffic sucks and then it can take an hour or more to drive 20 flippin miles to work and 20 miles back. 😂 Gotta love KCMO traffic! I'd lose my shit if I lived somewhere like Cali, with super shitty traffic.) Lock it Up, Marsh and No Regrets are my favorites to listen to while driving. Leaving Heaven makes me tear up every time I hear it. Makes me think of my 10 year old son and his 'relationship' with his absent father. Bad Husband from Revival also makes me cry, every single time I hear it. Although the script has to be flipped to fit my situation. Em's song, 'Headlights' hits me HARD, too.
