( SORRY - This is long , but good and heartfelt.) 💜 You will love it - by way I am a grandma 3x over and have been with them since 2016. Being that I am older than 70’s music , I have been able to enjoy Many, Many different kinds of artists and music over the years. 😂😅 My kids and grandkids have brought me along their own musical journeys too. 💜This is one of the few Artists/groups that I can remember everybody’s name ( not age just never been that invested before in the artists- always enjoyed music in general). 💜I truly enjoy their personalities that shine through , their music, artistic talent on many levels , their work ethic and their belief and love for both each other ( are family - not literally) , their fans and just people in general ( no nitpicking over words anyone) . I have enjoyed the journey of discovering them and their music. ( real rabbit hole ). 💜 I do have a suggestion… please watch the whole video all the way till it stops on its own. 👉🏻 The reason being there are a lot of things at the end of the video ( for instance you stopped the last video early where the king slashed his sword down - telling the guard to behead him- but that wasn’t the end and the “peasant “ him didn’t die. - the King was him in his early days who had gotten head strong - the peasant was the modern day( now) him that had come out the other side of figuring out fame to be a more stable grounded person who knew where he needed to be now), like extra scenes or a small break before the song ends or even messages. 💜So it’s always best to let the video play out so you don’t miss anything. 💜💜👍🏻 Don’t worry about pausing or lengthy videos as ARMY - BTS fandom don’t mind at all. 💜💜Also for breakdown of lyrics try DKDK TV - they are Koreans who explains things that only the hometown ( their country🇰🇷 ) crowd will fully understand ( such as special meanings and multiple uses of certain Korean words as well as cultural references , along with correct translation of lyrics). 💜 They give us a view of the songs that you can’t fully understand unless you understand Korean and understand their culture and things that usually only people from ( whatever country it is - doesn’t matter which one) that country will understand or get. 💜😅 ( 😫😅 I can never explain it right- look up their explanation video for the last song and watch yourself’s it’s the only way you’ll understand really. Don't you guys worry one bit about pausing when you want to. A lot of times if you wait till the end you lose your thought. This is your channel, you do you. @@Tyrellwastaken you won't be able to satisfy everybody, but most of us prefer that you pause so you can read the lyrics(we KNOW how fast they come at you, lol, & we want you to know the level of wordplay, bars, and message), not lose your thought, and so we can hear what YOU have to say. We're sorry the minority who dislike pausing and getting an authentic REACTION complain louder than the majority's satisfaction. You could try a trigger warning at the beginning of your vids, alerting them to your practise of pausing to read and react, and leaving the link to the original video in the description.

RM ended the song with "hit me" so the hater that the song was directed to would come back at him but they never did. They talked so much crap about him not being a real rapper bc he became an idol so he hot them with Joke. They mentioned Mic Drop being inspired by Barack Obama' 2016 speech at the WH correspondent dinner. The line in the song that say " live a life man, good luck" was to all those "friends" who turned thier back on the BTS members as individuals or BTS as a whole.

Suga and RM were underground rappers and when they chose to be idols and became part of BTS they were hugely disrespected and so their songs sometimes snap back and rightly so. Suga said he puts traps in his songs to catch the roaches and it works too. He laughs because they never learn and are then sued by Bighit. He's a genius. The dancing is amazing in mic drop but you should see the dance breaks video and their dance practice videos which they show to army. It's truly amazing how synchronised they are considering there are 7 of them. They seem to know where each other is and don't miss a beat. The dance practice to mic drop is amazing

Have they been special presidential envoys or spoken at the UN or the Whitehouse. When the heartbreaking day comes for BTS to stop kpop is finished.Im 57 and have seen many groups come and go in my life but just as the Beatles were then there will never be another BTS and other countries would not know anything about kpop if if wasn't for BTS. I'm pretty sure Namjoon was 19 when this song came out. The way he switches from Korean to English is so flawless it took me a while to realize he did it. I want him to come out with more hard-core rap songs. I feel like he has only improved. Suga and Rm are my biases. I love the other guys but geez, these guys just do it for me. Namjoon and Yoongi were pretty well known underground rappers before debuting and if you think about that...they would have started at like 15 or so (just a guess)

All 3 of these songs are amazing choices. Joke is one of RMs earlier raps and he goes hard and the beat is fire. Daewitchita is one of Yoongis raps that shows his amazing rap flow and just how different from other rappers he is (he is my fav rapper in the entire music industry). Lastly mic drop is a song to the haters just showing that BTS can achieve anything they want without giving a care to the haters and it is subtly telling people no matter wat they think they may their fans happy and all the trophies shows that

I understand. I am a 61 year old and I agree about the language and our “sensitive ears”. However, you can’t help being pulled in with the beat and artistry and oftentimes, the depth of meaning in the raps. I especially like Suga’s “Last” and “First Love” due to the meaning. Someone in the comments probably told you but RM & Suga were in the hip hop scene & took horrible backlash when they joined BTS for selling out. Suga also struggled a lot financially growing up. There’s an explanation video for Daechwita on you tube. Definitely worth watching. There’s quite a bit of historical stuff in here too. Took me a bit to realize we have a past & future of the main character.

Daechwita it's an old song that was played when the king was leaving the palace. It's played with traditional instruments. This is how Suga blends the old traditional songs from his culture with new sounds and beats. Alm 3 rapers from BTS are amazing and with the 4 vocals they make THE BEST boy band of our times.

l love yoongi's rap the most .. the tone, Beats, Rythm, and speed are amazing..👍

Behind the success, This is carrying many phrases, double triple meanings and rhymes both connecting eng and korean . You'll know more how he is a lyrical genius along the way. He is very good at lyrics like that. He is known for his work in south korea music scene . Esp. In hip hop. So abt Korean hiphop scene ... Fun fact: he did this while being unable to breathe. He was born with unusually small nasal passageways and a few years after this was released he ended up having to get nose surgery to open them up because he reached a point where he could no longer breathe and it was affecting his work and everyday life. He came out and said straight up that when writing this/performing this song and mixtape he was going through a period where he really couldn’t breathe but pressed on for his fans. To think his flow is this fucking insane and know he performed just as fast and well while being unable to breathe properly is fucking insane to me.

Fun fact RM rapped in 11.8 syllables per second in Joke

Would love to see your reaction to the 3rd rapper in BTS, JHope. His track 1VERSE is amazing, no video just lyric video for that. His other brilliant track is AIRPLANE, there is a video for that. RM and Agust D is responding to the haters from the Rappers meeting they went to calling them soft because they are idols. These guys went for their dream to survive and being an idol was the ticket and now their able to do everything and is successful.

Lump Head, no need to apologize, we want to HEAR what you have to say that’s why we’re here. DO YOU…(a BTS lyric).

BTS rappers are some of the best in the world, and I love that as Americans you can see that and are open-minded, willing to listen/watch music that has sub-titles. They have lots to say and it is all worth listening to. You are absolutely right that they are spitting at someone specific. RM and SUGA (AGUST D) were underground rappers who received a lot of hate and criticism when they crossed-over to become Idols. They have never been Pop Idols who rap - they are rappers who belong to a pop group. I'm a big fan of J-Hope's rapping too - his background as a street dancer means his bars move smoothly like his dancing. Try out his DAYDREAM (from his solo album) and you'll see what I mean. Yeah Agust D aka Min Yoongi literally came from 0 to 100. Small town, no parents support he couldn't relay on nobody. Everything he achieved he achieved by his own strength even tho he fought depression and other health conditions. Bts is the first real family he found and also in that fam he's the 2nd leader next to RM! WE LOVE A TRUE KING!!!!

If you haven’t already you guys definitely should react to Outro: Tear by the BTS rap line. RM raps (Tear ) as in shedding a tear, Suga raps ( Tear ) as in ripping something apart and J-Hope raps fear as in being afraid of the out come. It is amazing. You can feel their emotions when they rap this. It was written when they were thinking about disbanding.

I did some Jhope verse in my other video

Their rap delivery is just so expressive like you can feel the emotion they want to deliver using their flows and tones. It's just so satisfying and addicting. 🤧💜 And when you know the layers of wordplays and references going in that lyrics you'll be mindblown 🤯🤧💜

When I says Suga and rm used to be underground rapper in thier early days that's what I mean .

Never listened to Rap music until BTS. Their lyrics and talent is outstanding. Best rap line out there.

@@Tyrellwastaken sometimes in title song they can swap as for example im butter as suga is not good at english. The best suga's verse can be found in his mixtapes or songs he produces, composes, mixes, acts, etc does everything by himself. Like for eg psy that that ( verse was translated poorly in english). Even hia countrymsn love his depth on korean language. The other song which was his pure genius was shadow. Anyway, he is more known for his producing abilities (called genius producer) but he is an introspective and philosophical writer. He is way more mature than his age. Was psy and suga interview behind that that you will realize. He is the artist that is makin me stay in kpop though i also love bts :)

@@coolypetzz I mean he writes most of the song, its just 3 title tracks and some of them is in english which he doesn't know. Like he already has more than 140 songs in credits, 3 songs doesn't matter. Plus bighit probably rejected his lyrics for those 3 as suga tends to write too truthful, you can see from his hardhitting introspective lyrics which is not for bts's soft concept (even jhope said that). Personally suga's lyrics are my fav as they are raw.

@Spring Bloom Yoongi is, as you say, among the members the one with more music related credits. I believe OP was mentioning the "kpop position".You know, like main dancer or main vocalist? If you mention Yoongi as "main producer among the members" and you want to be exhaustive you need to mention Namjoon as "main lyricist among the members" but I don't think that was OP's goal.
