I just got my F40PH, and have put it through its paces. It is a fantastic locomotive. Great detail and the sound is awesome. I'm not normally a big diesel or AMTRAK fan. But I have several Rapido passenger cars and was very impressed with them. When I saw the F40PH video, I ordered one. Now I've put a pre-order in on a GN FPA-2. Rapido rocks.

That was the funniest intro sequence I have seen in a long time! Great work guys!

Yes an unfortunate reality of railroading in the Northeast in the 70s and 80s.

You're going to need some Amtrak F40s on your layout for the Maple Leaf train!

Superb! Now we need a VIA one in N gauge please. I have never seen one offered anywhere.

That is one awesome f40ph and the decoder that comes with it. Also nice one on the intro lol.

hey, guys! love the new model, and the video! quick suggestion, as an Arizonan, I'd love to see a model F40PH in the current Grand Canyon Railway paint scheme. I think that it would just be super cool, since I don't think that it's ever been done before. that being said, if you guys did make one, I'd buy it, for certain, since it would be a bit of pride for me. just a suggestion for your next run of these.

I look at this and all I can think is METRA.

I hope Rapido's N scale announcements coming this year (2019) will include a Amtrak and VIA N scale F40PH. We can only hope. Come on Jason and gang.

sounds silly but I love the cage windows on the loco. Side question... will those lights on the back of the LRC cars be on the new ones or did you guys just add those?
