It looks like the sandstone is washing away back in under the surface of the river. Staying is not worth the risk I feel! Just imagine when any repairs or whatever starts on the bridge or dam that whole area by the cafe will be full of heavy equipment. It's going to be a HUGE undertaking! Praying for all!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am just a little confused why they tore it down so quick. If I recall there was still plenty of land between the store and the stream...but hopefully they got all of the artifacts out before bringing the store down. Hope for the best from PA!

River will eat all of that way eventually. Just as wide as the river down stream. Sandstone is pretty soft and will wear awau very quick.

This dam has failed/flooded over at least 3 times in the past 30 years. I repaired the generators in the mid 90's when the river went over the top of the dam and flooded the generator rooms. Can the state please do a cost analysis or even its research before deciding to throw more money at a proven failed hydro power plant project. Maybe let the Blue Earth river be a river.

We as Americans need to stop sending money to other Countries and Take care of our own Land And People! Enough is Enough. All that money sent to those other people and countries We could be able to Build better Dams and Homes and take care of our own Country period.
