I tried myself repeating on crossbow, edgemaster on amulet and i switched accelerating aspect for the standard basic skill on the sword. I kinda think it's better to have flat attacck speed instead to have it when i crit. p.s going rapid fire build instead of pen shot is like day and night. way more consistant damage. the only sad part is not seeing those big damage number with pen shot :P

Ive been doing rapid fire spec with no imbu from 50 to 80. Its very fun and strong. Just finished t57 nm dungeon with her. Cant wait to lvl up more and get stronger!

What skills are you using?

I´ve been leveling up to 50 with your "UNKILLABLE Ranged Rogue Build Diablo 4 - Barrage Imbue Rogue Build Guide for End Game is INSANE" video and I´ve had nooo problem at all at anything, I can damage alot and tank it. Now I´m at 51 and I might switch to this since I trust your judgement and also the build guide so you know what to aim for (no pund intended) :)

Wow nice build been looking on changing my build i just got to level 70 using an RF/pene. Great thing about rogue is you just need some key aspects for a build then you can modify things depending on playstyle/preference. I have tried 3 builds on a rogue and by far the most fun is RF... i might try RF plus Flurry with shadow/cold without basic.

Every build is "insane" and "the best new build" it's hard to know which is actually best.

I just got condemnation but it is a little lower lvl than my second sword. Also my second sword has great stats on it. Would you max condemnation out and just swap it, or stick with the sword? Trying to figure out if the dagger is worth running.

I would say for general content I prefer Pen Shot, this build has been my go-to recently for pushing higher level NM dungeons. And I'm facing lilith with a RF build.

Have you got a favourite out of the builds you've ran? As you already pointed out previously, Pen Shot isn't great for NMs and late game content and it feels like it's fallen off a lot as I've got to higher tier NMs. I do wonder if the Rapid Fire + Flurry build that Wuji has been running is the play but do you think the RF only build is enough on it's own? Presuming that the shadow imbue is enough AoE clear ofc...

Would you rather have +to close damage or plus to shadow damage if you could have one or the other on a crossbow with this build ?

Hi - Ive been using his pen/rapid build since 50 and its solid AF.

I've tried the build and i quite liked, but on your paragon, your explodir glyph isnt able to have the second bônus, is it suppost?

I keep going back to rapid fire. it is actually insane with poison imbuement. the single target damage is the most out of any spec i've tried so far.

After watching this video I realized having Repeating aspect on Crossbow vs Amulet is a preference, 90% to ricochet vs 60% and 40% edgemaster vs 30%. In my opinion, Having a higher repeating aspect percentage is pivotal in clearing Nightmare dungeons, More spread on cold and shadow imbuement. Good Video 👍

I've further tested this, and have adjusted the planner. I had previously noticed that the 68% on my amulet was fine, but after playing 90% it feels a whole lot better for consistent AOE damage. Bit of an oversight from me. Thank you for the comment john, great suggestion.

This build so fun and so strong. Top class job. Can u advise different aspect then arrow strom. Its look not that effective or am I missing something?

Manglers is #1 aspect for survivability. And cold imbue not only lets you CC mobs, you get to do heavy damage while youre CC'ing.. its def slept on. Im just glad i dont have to resort to poison anymore bc rapid fire hits so hard with combo pts.

And with shadow i don't need that extra boss damage either. Cold helps me freeze packs and delete annoying elites.

Isn't puncture going to take out your precision stack when it procs? So rapid fire doesn't get the full benefit of precision key passive?

Maye is this build more power full that PS?, right now i runningba RF and PS so i can do damage from afar and on one to one , like in bosses.

Could you explain using edgemaster on crossbow vs another aspect like rain of arrows or repeating?

Wanting to do an 80 and make a video on it and talk about tips/tricks, how to replicate. But I'm running into the classic "rogue get 1 shot" situation, and running out of good keys.

Just started the video, but have you tried any nm dungeon pushing with this? If so how high?

I have done 75 comfortably, and the highest I did was 77. But the problem (as with most rogue builds) was surviving. The build was slightly tweaked for the 77 though.

my build is similar to yours, the difference is that I use the acceleration aspect on the main weapon. it makes my rogue run incredibly fast. combine this with the 30% critical RF passive and boots evasion cd reduction. he is very agile and with absurd damage.

Im still new to this game only been playing a couple days now and I’m really looking forward to trying this out but I’ve got a question. When I looked at the board why did you choose 7 active abilities (shadow step, shadow imbuement, cold imbuement, dash, puncture, rapid fire, and dark shroud) when you only can equip 6. Wouldn’t it be better to remove the points from the one you don’t use and put them on another passive ability?

The aspect on my helmet called "Umbrous Aspect" gives us free applications of the ability :) The reason we put points into it is to increase the scaling value, and also benefit from the enhanced modifiers.

Roughly, they're covered in this video, there is a gear section included. My planner account got bugged so I've had to remake all of my planners.

8:03 does lucky hit chance actually affect the affix? The % isn't fixed on the gear? On your boots it says that the lucky hit has a 43% chance, so any additional lucky hit that you have gets multiplied or added on top of that?

lucky hit % is one value. Lucky Hit: X% effect is another value. "IF" you get lucky hit, you have X% to apply that affix. Stacking lucky hit% on items helps to get lucky hits. DMG skills have their own lucky hit chance witch is multiplied by the lucky hit bonus.

So is this better than your pen shot rapid shot combo build?

Have you considered running rain of arrows with amulet of hakan and preparation? been wanting to try a rapid fire build with it.

I've tried it a couple of times, the problem with it is your damage outside of RoA ends up being rather low. But, even if I don't make a full video on it, I will make a D4 Planner with what I believe could work and share that.

just play tb it's way stronger at low gear/paragon levels

I realize it does not matter to you or other people far into the game, but a little disclaimer for those who just hit nightmare and are trying out different things: RF trapper build and any other RF "machine gun" variants without basic skill don't work until you get exploit glyph online. Which means 2nd paragon board at best (60+ lvl?). You just go OOM instantly, because neither blast trapper nor blended shadow generate enough vulnerability for RF to be fully self sustaining.

I have a similar build but I run rain of arrows instead of puncture, Poison imbuement instead of Cold, and concealment instead of dash

You dont have penitent greaves in any of your builds linked or in the video?

Opted to recommend Mangler's. Penitent greaves can be used for this build, but for higher NM dungeons Mangler's is great.

I have been working as well on a Rapid fire build since i got the Rapid fire aspect, should give it a try as it actually helps with AOE dmg. i also like to use Rain of arrows with word of hakan and preparation as specialty. whenever i run into a big crowd Rain of arrows does a lot of dmg and you just kill whats left. i also did a paragon board for my build adn i dont run agility skills (its just not my play style) Great Video!

@@thelife1313 for what is worth, im lvl 80 and tier 40/41 dungeons feel great. At tier 42 the minions with damage reduction take a couple of minutes. at tier 40/41 the snakes cannot one shot me and i i can tank while ccd. i havent found a butcher yet so im not sure if i can Tank him. GG

My issue with rapid fire is that it doesn't track a target, so it's entirely possible to use rapid fire and only have like 1-2 of it's burst of projectiles hit if the target starts moving left or right.

I just want to let you know that "close" range or for example damage to "close" enemies are referring to enemies that are in the "melee" range. Outside of melee range even if they're close it won't count as "close" range.

Marksman range seems a bit different. If you base it off of forceful arrow’s knock back effective range, it’s actually a pretty good distance. Assuming the relation between skills and terminology is consistent.

have yet to get an umbrous really putting a hamper on my rogue build but im doing fine clearing 15-20s at lvl 62 xD

Great video again, helped me realise I'll be going back and sticking with pen shot. I just don't like being up close, ranged skills should be at range otherwise you could just play a melee rogue 😂

Iunno anymore ive tried every core build for rogues and TB was a failsafe build to go to until i got better gear, once you get decent defensive pieces rapid fire feels so much better to play with.. you essentially have a machine gun vs daggers lol.

u have not "Dark Shroud" skill in skill bar, how u active this skill? i watch your gameplay, u have always "Dark Shroud" buff ?? is it work like passive? automatically active?

Hey u rly Sure about Condemption ? Yeah IT gives 40% DMG to Score skills but , i think ITS be a better Option to get another sword with crit DMG and DMG to vulnable enemy would be a better DMG Output or am i wrong ? Basic Skill DMG und DMG with dual wield is not so effektiv in my opinion 😅

My vulnerable damage is 200 percent alone . Butcher was down in less than a minute level 65

So what is the strongest rogue build right now out of all options

if you add the unique condemnation dagger the rapid fire would hit like a mini-gun shooting fat-mans. "your *Core* skills deal 28% increased damage when spending 3 *combo points*. Your *basic* skills using weapons have a 30% chance to generate 3 *combo points*" 28% is the one i manged to get dropped from nightmare so dont know if the percent increase or not, still love the dagger though very fun watching them go poof

I personally like poison imb for damage reduction for big packs, especially when you need to get into mele because of the shield.

I've found with this config, I rarely need poison, and actually prefer the crowd control from Cold Imbuement. It fully freezes elites and saves my life in high level nightmare dungeons.

Why do you need the skill of dark shroud for the aspect to cast it?

Uldur cave, group dungeon farms. Generally drop the most legendaries per hour for me.

Why Dash over Caltrops? Caltrops seems much better since you are using cold imbuement

What's odd is that rapid fire and poison at 12+ is getting the near same results as twisted and poison +12 on Uber Lilith. Obviously both are utilizing the same broken aspect, but(from MY OWN EXPERIENCE), rapid fire was actually just far more fun. It's no bone spear Necro or Blizz sorc, but it was accomplished. For farming though... Yeah, I'm still not sure why you'd ever run combo points with infinite energy, but it seems to work for you man! That's the fun thing about D4 right now, there's all sorts of builds out there!

So close to killing her, just dying half way through P2.

I look at your paragon board and seems like your exploit glyph is at your 3rd board. I think it is really important to have the exploit on your 2nd board specially if you are just lvl 60-80ish which makes your RF resources infinite.

He’s using puncture. If you use puncture you dont need exploit early.

It's hard to say, I haven't gotten all the classes to the end game. Right now I'm leaning towards Rogue, and I will probably be streaming myself playing Hardcore. But, I also may play Druid. Still up in the air.

I switched to barrage with death trap before quitting due to endgame boredom and found it better. Rapid fire really ties you down, whereas barrage let's you move. It does decent damage at shotgun range, and does way better with shadow imbuement. In fact, shadow imbuement felt fairly ineffective with RF. Also, RF doesn't have easy vulnerable re-proc, whereas barrage does. And, well, death trap, poison trap infinite loop is also just super powerful

I want one that just works no frills for HC.

finally in world tier 4. Looking to finalize a build. probably sticking with barrage but may switch it up to this!

Welcome to WT4! There's so many good rogue builds, I don't even blame you. This build becomes more valuable when you're pushing higher tier content. I haven't had a ranged build that feels as competitive in high level NM dungeons.

They don't exist haha. I have tried taking 5 defensive aspects, changing my whole paragon board for defensives (armor & resist all) - but you still get 1 shot at 85+ by any attacks. Our only chance as a Rogue is using trapper builds at 80+ because of the damage reduction and CC.

It's hard to say, I personally haven't tested Flurry in anything higher than a 65. Now that I've covered all the ranged specs, I will be moving into TB and Flurry - so I'll have more to update soon.

Is aoe good tho? Is this build better than barrage?

Your build is almost exactly like mine and ive never seen this before 😂 i guess its an all around common sense build.

After I changed some aspect with this build I can pop Dmg to 1m perhit at elite.

Your level 100 mate before I even get close to this I need to get your level of gear 😂 I’m 72

Repeating Aspect should be on your Bow for 90% chance and Accelerating Aspect should be on your amulet for 38% attack speed. Not sure why you're putting them where you've put them. Also, you don't need to spec into Dark Shroud for Umbrous Aspect to work, so those points are wasted there. Interesting take on a rapid fire build, but those aspects really are misplaced.

I'm pretty sure he did that for the extra 40%x DMG on the crossbow and dark shroud skills for movement speed or crit chance. It makes alot sense to have that 40%x DMG boost.

Aspect placements are important, but I don't believe Repeating on your bow is the best call, with 68% on my amulet shooting 8 arrows I don't find trouble clearing packs, so I personally think using your 200% modifier on repeating is a bit of wasted power. Accelerating on amulet would work fine as well, can agree with that. Dark shroud points are for the MS and making the damage reduction scale better, as you get 1 shot in end game content as a Rogue. These are my opinions, but you do make some valid points as well.

the points into dark shroud makes it so you run fast when they're on you. Also if you're pushing nm dungeons the extra dr could help.

Can someone tell me why rogue feels so weak compared to other builds early game? I’m level 35 and feel so weak in WT2. Am I missing a specific aspect or something?

For efficiency you should run WT1 until level 50, yes you get more experience in WT2, but it takes longer to kill things. Just breeze through WT1 until 50. If you are set on WT2 focus like you are a HC character. You will need to go full on offense to offset the HP. Problem is you don't have all the necessary skills unlocked and passives. I just don't believe the game truly was designed to efficiently run WT2 as your first character. Wait until you have the 10 skill points from renown at minimum. Just my .02

Hard to say, I did rapid fire/force arrow- frost imbue (concealment with healing passive) and that got me to lvl 56 fairly easy. Bit of kiting ofcourse, but the force arrow would knock mobs into elites and they ALL fall down. Frosty rapid fire insta-freezes elites and then they melt. After 56 I tried TB/Deathtrap build and fell in love. Now at lvl 83 and life is a breeze. I used to run from Butcher, Now he runs from me. Like the other guy says tho, WT1 is easy mode and the way to go for breezing through dungeons and unlocking aspects on ANY class. Whatever xp advantage you get from doing WT2 is lost because of how long it takes to kill mobs/clear dungeons. Try to stack crit chance, crit dmg, and vuln dmg on everything you have and you should be ok. Thats my opinion anyways. Hopefully it helps.

bruh i played tb and finished campaign by 40 on wt1. Only one aspect for TB and equipped any rare that was an armor upgrade. Everything melted anyway.

This build is impossible without repeating. Just keep that in mind. I've been leveling without it out of pure bad luck and it's rough

Condemnation is really not worth it. The stats on it are an awful, besides core damage maybe. A sword with vuln and crit damage will most likely outshine it, not to mention buff the clear potential of your Shadow Imbuement. An argument can be made for insatant 3 combo points - but who actually visually tracks their combo points, rather than just going with the "3 basic 1 core" rythm?

I had issues too today but I uninstall and install again my game and it worked 👍😉
