hey that was very cool. does it count the line in the other direction? like if im gonna drop down to a specific distance? has it continued to work for the last year?

Great question, yes the line counter does count line in the other direction. Yes, we used it this year and it continues to work flawlessly.

Is this good for seeing how deep you are fishing

Yes it does if you have a destination your trying to reach you can set it on the rapala line counter and it will make a sound if you go over the number your have set. In my video I went through on setting the counter and how it works.

Some reels can only take so much line when u spooling so got becareful not go over limit because if u do have way to much line on it going have hard time casting line out plus line may get tangle up on reel or poll when u cast it .when u buy new line read how much line yards it has .then look at your reel see how much line can go on it if u using spinning open reel or those old school reels with push button when want cast it help

How to change it to count in meters

To change from yards to meters, first turn on the line counter by pressing the middle power button, then press down for a 1/2 second on the middle power button. This should change it form yards to meters.
