As a football player HBCU bands definitely played a part in me choosing to go to one. Don’t ever let someone say the band isn’t important. Had offers to TxSt, LA Tech etc but the game days at my HBCU was unmatched

Most definitely. Nothing like the HBCU experience. I loved every minute of my time in college.

Crazy part is this was one of the best sounding SU bands in the last two decades at least IMO.

growing up playing both baritone/euphonium and trumpet I was always taught that you should never puff your cheeks while you play but watching this video makes me think that’s the only reason they can reach those high notes like that consistently 😭😭

You have to do exercises for your diaphragm sit ups 6 inches and then for stamina jumping Jack's and also practice a lot lip slurs warm up scales when you're tired rest and repeat the process over and over again
