    Thank you for the tour and I also agree with you that the 2 meter T 28 is not worth the price. It should at least have the easy connect wings and like you said, the paint leaves more unpainted spots and the problem with the gear makes for a buyers remorse if you get one..

    I totally agree with you on HH. Keep up the informative and down to earth enjoyable videos! Back to HH. After a 3-4 year hiatus I have returned to electric only RC. Many years ago I was using nicad, than nimh, than about 20 years ago I discovered Lipo's and brushless motors. I was fortunate to catch what you have!!!!! After spending thousands at HH over the years I have spent my last cent with them. I recently had sold my near 200 plane inventory and I have decided to fly again after settling down in a new home and spending on MTB's what I used to spend on RC. I will keep the 4 MTB's I built up and recently started a new hanger of planes with a SUS, AeroScout, Eratix, and the Habu STS. the Habu had 2 defective servo's and I still have not maidened it because HH who you cannot talk to anymore on the phone wanted me to jump through hoops and do things I refuse to do. This after spending over $900 the past month with those sorry folks. After watching your Shrike reviews I also picked that up at Motion who along with Buddys RC, Chief Aircraft and HK will get most of my future business! Thank you for allowing me to rant and get this off my chest!

    Greg love your rant. I agree, E-Flite ( Horizon) has a strangle hold on the RC market. It is flat out greed. I have not bought anything from them for over two years. I am so happy to see Xfly, and Arrows put products out there at uninflated prices. Not only that, E-Flite puts a plane out there for a year or so, pulls it off the market, along with the parts. Example the P- 39 Airacobra 1.2m. It won't be long until Horizon gobbles up the new brands, if not already.

    They absorbed Tower hobbies, Parkzone, Flyzone, Hanger Nine, and who knows what else. However FMS is the big driving force behind E-Flite and Other planes. X-Fly is seperate from FMS and stands alone. That's why I like them also. But dont beat up E-Flite and HH to much they are still at the mercy of CHINA.

    Hello Greg you have an amazing hanger of beautiful planes!! And I totally agree with you about the outrageous cost of some models! I'm 67 years old and a amputee which is a large cost just to walk, I got into the hobby about 21/2 years ago and already spent thousands of dollars on planes and batteries,chargers and then these companies come out with planes that we all would love to have but at almost $1000 just to get it into your hanger is just too much for the average person to pay out! And that's my little rant on over priced planes to the companies lol have a great week Greg your friend Marty from Canada 🇨🇦 🛩 🛩

Trouble is, I'm a guitarist so I'm also addicted to guitars, and that's expensive as well. I also bought the CZ T-28, the yellow one, simply because I wanted it and don't have it. However, these prices on HH planes are a little ridiculous. I've switched over from Spektrum to FrSky stuff just so I didn't have to buy their products, and Franky so far much better bang for the buck and then some. One day, others will realize that if you stop buying that stuff, the prices will become reasonable in order to compete. My 1.1M T28 from BH looks even better with that Jolly Roger's paint job next to this over prices other ones. Lol. Nice hanger brother, keep up the great works. @@FatGuyFliesRC Oh yes it flies great to me, very touchy though so keep that in mind when setting control surface rates. The flaps and air brake slows the plane down greatly to do low and slow flights and landings. Check out RC Informers videos on it, since I have yet to post pics. I have crashed mine, all my fault, hit some trees a couple of times and its very sturdy, the landing gear doors are a little tricky but in flight I never had one stick. I also have the red and white one but its the kit version so I have not put it together.

    Yeah, as I have become more familiar with my nx8, and the Telemetry receivers, I was really bummed the other day to find out that the ar637ta receiver in my Turbo Timber evolution (the receiver that comes with all of the HH BNF models) does not have the barometer sensor for altitude information, I mean seriously by the time you take the effort to manufacture two almost identical receivers, just manufacturer one version that has the barometer in it. to add the barometer sensor cost $60 which is just ridiculous.

    Totally agree, here in the UK this model is the equivalent of $910 plus postage!! HH shut their UK operation and the appointed outlet is wholesale to trade only and only carry out warranty and repair work. You have to buy from independent stores who all mark up. HH Europe post Brexit now refuse to post to the UK as well. I'm doing a bit of a project and wanted someEflite twin Otter prop adapters, they are a 100% mark up on the US price and 50% on the EU price. I have some older Parkzone items 49 inch Mosquitos, etc and Eflite FW190a and Draco both BNF. I've stopped buying Eflite and buy most items now from Motion RC Europe, arrives in a few days they dont have an issue sending to the UK and having spoken to them they dont understand why HH has abandoned the market here as they are doing very nicely out of it especially on the EDF's. On the T28, everybody has an opinion but how many @?:~#"&* versions of this model are there, come on manufactures its boring, ohh another P51, Spitfire. So you painted it yellow, cynical buyer abuse, though it does look good in yellow. I'll bet HH put this in the box for about $100. Enough moaning, great hangar tour.

  • @FatGuyFliesRC

    @FatGuyFliesRC

    Thanks for sharing and I am sorry that it seems HH has abandoned you. Eflite really does need to expand their line to stay relevant. The need to stop reproducing the same ole same ole but in new color and better electronice but with 50% price hick or more. On the flip side of that there are a few of their planes that should NEVER go away but just be continually improved. The Valiant 1.3 is the perfect example of that.

    Kudos to you for speaking the truth. I'm happy to see a " reviewer" be honest about these products. I realize many of you make a living reviewing and pushing all these products is your business. But we aren't blind, and with social media it doesn't take long for news to spread. Good or bad. When I returned to flying I watched many videos as I had never owned a foamy. So these reviews are truly influencing those who don't know better. So 3 yrs ago I returned to flying and bought my fiirst foamy[ an Aeroscout] I loved it and it was perfect to get back into flying. But in these 3 yrs I've seen prices jump and quality drop. So I have moved away from HH and other foamy manufacturers because for the $700 for a T-28 you can get into an Extreme flight product ,[or many other manufactures that are a night and day difference in quality and engineering. Having said that, we all know they play to the buyer who wants a bind and fly. Nothing more, not even an ARF. I still enjoy all the videos but have to laugh when many state " this plane is awesome" every time they fly. Keep up the good work!

    I happily share your disease and we have a number of planes in common. I have to agree with you about the cost of the Carbon T28 when it’s problems still exist. Here in Australia the bnf version retails at $1249.00, hard to justify when my FMS Beaver is the same size, has floats, a better fir out and cost $799 and I think flies nearly as well. It’s almost the same when you compare the Carbon Cub ZZ, I love mine but it cost $1000.00 yet my $575.00 Husky Ultimate 1.8m whilst a little smaller I believe looks just as good and definitely flys as good. Like you I have a 150T and a Draco both costing over $1000 and enjoy them both, but when compared with my Grand Tundra at just over half their price, it performs just as well. Times are getting tougher and like you I now refuse to pay the exorbitant prices being asked. I loved your shop tour, but I don’t have quite as many planes…..yet! Well I think all together over the years I have been given 2 planes for free and that was after mistakes made from the makers so they reimbursed me and the plane ended up being free. Now I have gotten many planes at a discount for reviews but I made it very clear to the makers that i may not give them a favorable review if the plane is a piece of crap. Those companies are Bitgo and Hobbyzone. Both made it clear they wanted honest reviews regardless of the result. I respect that and that's why I love to review planes from Hobbyzone and Bitgo Hobby. They want the good and the bad.

    i don't think you can justify the upgrade, offer it without spectrum because im tearing it out anyway.. there product isn't great. old tech selling it as new great stuff. then big price increase for what?? no big upgrade. no new retracts.. iill pass

    They should have offered suspension struts along with more reliable retracts. AND PAINTED THE FLAP hinge.

    How about us Canadians Fat Guy? We have to add 30 to 35% on top of the U.S prices. So that $700 plane is almost $1,000 for us. That is my rant for the day!

    Thanks very much Marty. I am having an issue with FMS at the moment. If they fix the problem, I will gladly deal with the Canada site. If they don’t solve the problem, that’s it with me and FMS. Thanks again. I did not know about the Canada site.
