been a Utd fan since the 90s (Schmeichel, Neville bros, Stam + 1 other CB, Giggs, Scholes, Beckham, Keane, Cole, Yorke were my "Golden Boys", with Ole coming off the bench)... I'd put players ahead of manager (Ole) in this case: 1. The players, regardless of timing, have had ALL post - Sir Alex Ferguson managers sacked, David Moyes, LVG, Mourinho and now Ole. The trend I notice is, the players play well once there's a managerial change in the early stages. Then as the days went on, they crumbled when expectations are way high. You can say managers need to get them prepared to handle expectations, but... if you're telling me LVG & Mourinho couldn't get it done, I find it hard to believe. 2. Players in Sir Alex's era - they put in the WORK & EFFORT. That's what Keane has been ranting about as well. These current crop feels more like divas rather than footballers (exceptions always exist). Let's hope Rangnick can change that, EVEN after the next long term manager comes in (hopefully it's either Poch or Ten Hag). But, I think most, if not all, of Utd fans know very well, the bulk of the blame pie goes to the top - the Glazers and Woodward. No dispute there.

Ole has been the best Manager since Ferguson so we need to appreciate his contributions to our present state of affairs, managing recruits & sense of direction. All we needs is the necessary support & experienced Coaches to take us to next Level. We're only a few tweaks away from having a good team & squad to take on the rest so we have to recognise that we are very close to something big. Ole wanted us to enjoy our football again so we're glad for that & we're been looking forward to the next game. We have to be ruthless in the team selection & decision making for the betterment of the team so we cannot afford to underestimate anyone cos we haven't won anything yet. The board should have recognise this & made sure that they address the issues Ole had cos the fan base was expressing their frustration for a long time. Unfortunately The board parted company with Ole by mutual consent due to recent poor results. To Us the board choose the easy option where all they needed was experienced coaches e.g. Roy Keane, Rene Meulensteen & Peter Schmichel to join The Management team.

10:28 Precisely! A lot of pundits and others have talked about how the rest of the coaching should have also been sacked or resigned on their own accord, but no interim manager and that manager's staff has been appointed yet. If all the coaches were gone, who takes training? Who decides the team sheet for upcoming games? This is not saying the other coaches are completely blameless or good enough to take over the team, but someone has to stay on to take on the coaching duties until a new manager and his staff, interim or not, comes in and start work. Idiots calling for all heads to roll at the same time when it's apparent there's no replacement in place yet. All you'll get is a headless chicken and we all know what a headless chicken is good for.

Imagine, a better Old Trafford, the best training facilities in the world, the most talented players in the world, the best coaches in the world all serving year in year out under a manager who we didn't have to pick out of the bargain bin This is gonna sound deluded but the domination would never have stopped if the Glazers were half decent owners

If the players are not performing or are injured/fatigued then that's fully on Ole as he picks the side. Maguire has been rushed back from injury, Shaws form should have seen him replaced by Telles, we all know VDB should be a starter instead of either McFred who have been atrocious, Rashford has been played to exhaustion and no place for Sancho who cost the club 75m and 2 years of pursuit. Also unlike the elite clubs (think Reece James, Trevor Chalobah, Mason Mount, Neco Williams, Tyler Morton, Phil Foden) there is no youth progression to the first team. A lot of fanfare about Pellistiri, Diallo, Elanga and Mejbri but no real route to first team and the stagnation of youth players who have already made breakthroughs like Rashford, Greenwood and Tuanzebe and thats on the coaching - just look at the Pep effect on Sterling, Stones and Foden.

Mourinho - even though he was successful that was the worst football we've seen at Man Utd post Fergie that went Toxic so the board had to act. No More Defensive type Coaches e.g. Conte, Rogers - Leicester suits him etc... Ole has been the best Manager since Ferguson so we need to appreciate his contributions to our present state of affairs, managing recruits & sense of direction. Ole wanted us to enjoy our football again so we're glad for that & we're been looking forward to the next game. Unfortunately The board parted company with Ole by mutual consent due to recent poor results. To succeed with this squad then Internally should have the first option to take over otherwise seek an Offensive experienced Coach to fit the Man Utd progression. We should bring in Roy Keane as Manager or Head Coach with his Management Team, that would encourage to get the players & staff to improve on their focus, performance, consistency and achieve more.
