Great video as always. Been eagerly waiting this one! Ended up returning my Tozo as the app would keep resetting my EQ and they couldn’t figure out why. Kept with the AZ80, which for me are perfect and the fit is the most comfortable I have come across to date. Keep up the great work!

Just what I was looking for! I've been considering an upgrade for a few months now. My Bose Soundsports have a major charging issue (says they're fully charged, but they stopped charging 5 seconds after plugged in) that I've actually been dealing with for a couple years now. Good stuff!

You are the only one who has mentioned this silicone cover for the Jabra Elites, it’s appalling no one mentioned that, first that it’s a cover period and the fact it’s that silicone is a big red flag, you’re right anything made of that turns to slippery mush over time. Haven’t tested, I wear glasses and the hooks are uncomfortable for me. Get the AirPod pro usb c, since you’re already familiar with Apple ecosystem

Have you ever tried any soundcore earbuds like the Liberty 4, Liberty 4NC Liberty 3? I own the first two I mentioned, but the last one when I purchased it when it first dropped I was highly impressed but started have connectivity issues numerous times and even purchased them a few times because they were all round amazing especially value wise. Maybe I made a mistake returning my wfm5 for Elite 10 and should have gotten the elite 8 active for workouts instead? I got the jabra Elite 10 because of the ip rating on both the case and buds I taught they are good for workouts including overall daily use, like call quality which they are definitely in my opinion. About the material of the earbud I don't understand how the external area around the earbud will deteriorate or will melt over time. Isn't that the similar material used in all the Jabra earbuds and nothing has happened to them or I could wrong. You could be right with what your saying but as a current owner of the elite 10, I am sorry to say but the only way for that happening is if your in a sunny country, there is a possibility of that happening depending on where you are in the world might improbable but I don't know for sure. Thank you for authenticity you show in your videos even though I am a new subscriber, you were one of the audio tech reviewers I watched before deciding to purchase the Elite 10. Did anybody compare the Tozo with the galaxy budspro 2? Since they are easier to come, the are dropping in price; and some say, they have really great sound. Wonder if anybody has experience and could comment

Which ones do you think are the best in terms of continuous use time? That's my problem. I want to use them for 7 hours or more in a row without having to charge them.

I did get the Denon PerL Pro and it basically blows away anything else even better than my fav Between 3ANC! Yeah price is too steep but I decided to try and the rest is pretty much history. I’ll keep my 3 ANC but won’t give up the PerL Pro no way

I have the XM5's and the AZ80's, and I agree I'm not a fan of foam eartips. I never thought to try the Technics tips on the Sony. Definitely going to give this a try.

I'm currently using Galaxy Buds 2 Pro which I picked up at Walmart for $160, and I'm thinking about returning them and getting the Sony WF-XM5 which I've herd have better ANC, battery life and bass quality, but they cost $300 as opposed to $160 which I payed for the Galaxy Buds. Should I do it?

I domt recommend the XM5. They suffered from the update that destroys battery life that has also plagued the XM4. On my current pair, my right ear bud is lucky to last 7 minutes and the left is no more than 25mins of battery life. So disappointing

Just want to say you must have the same ears as me or simply tell the truth. I got burned by the Bose and was BAFFLED at the issues with them that no reviewers were raising. I love how honest you keep it. Keep it up

Also recommend the Final Audio ZE8000. Top tier sound quality, bit pricy but comfortable and super clear audio

You mentioned that Bose does not deliver on software. So I have the QC Ultra Headphones not the earbuds, and I am curious if you think I should return them and wait for the xm6 headphones. I ask because I am new to Bose and I like the Ultras however, I am unsure if they will fix the issues I keep having. My headphones constantly keep trying to connect even though I swear I had them connected. Other times when I take them off, they still are somehow connected. The "Self Voice" feature doesn't work at all and I am with fingers crossed the will fix how long it takes to turn on the darn things. Lastly I am also hoping they add some type of speak to chat feature like the XM5's have. I know typing this out it seems I've found every reason to return them, but again I mention my question because I am new to Bose and I don't know how good they are with releasing software updates to fix issues. I would love your feedback. Amazing content by the way! 🎉

Unfortunately a lot of BOSE fans have been left waiting for a software update to fix minor problems or bring simple features. Bose doesn’t have a good history of providing that kind of support to us, I don’t have any info on the XM6 but I know getting stuck with a fault set of Bose headphones is not ideal.

@@Fredo.heavyy I got ya nothing wrong with that everyone’s ears and facial features are different and things feel and fit different on all of us. I had a pair but left them in a hotel I was staying at and didn’t realize I left them until like 3 days later and the hotel claimed they didn’t find them, so I haven’t bought a new pair yet, but the beats fit pros have been my favorite pair of headphones thus far.

I have the XM5s and they are my favourite, another KZreadr called Aregina did some tests on them with other tips and you can lose up to 1/3 of the ANC. Which sort of defeats the purpose of spending that money. He found that the least impactful changes was Azla Formax tips, even comply and other foam you lose a lot of ANC, so its not just the foam doing the work but how Sony tuned that ANC to those stock tips. I got the Azla Foamax and they fit better, more comfy etc, but I can absolutely hear the difference in the highs on ANC, you can hear cars passing far more and hear the ticking of idling engines, you cant with the stock. I think for such amazing buds, the tips really are such a major let down.

Az80s worth it? I have an iPhone and willing to spend the money.

I found your channel a little too late, haha. I was given a discount on Bose Ultras for sending them my old QuietComfort pair when the right speaker finally failed after near-daily use over a couple years. Day 1, out of the box, the left bud of my brand new Ultras is buzzing and occasionally beeping. I would've been better off keeping the old QCs and using them as earplugs than spending $200 to send them off for these unbearable things. I agree with the disqualification. It's unreal that anyone would allow the premium version of their product, in the market they once dominated, to ship with such a critical flaw in the key feature that kept people talking about them. Bose has routinely topped the "Best ANC" spot on every list, and after the time I spent with my QC buds, I didn't think twice about most lists I found putting the Ultras at the current peak. If they don't have quality control for such an expensive product, its dishonest to claim they're the best *but only if you somehow manage to get a properly working pair first*

You can disregard them all you want, but you cannot change the fact that the ANC on Bose quietcomfort ultra is better than any of these other earbuds. I agree they're not perfect in any sense but if you want to block out noise they're the best out there.

They’re a lot of things that claim to be the “best” on paper. If they were really that good I would’ve kept a pair in my rotation. The fact is that if you’re serious about noise canceling you want over ear headphones.

Bro galaxy buds2 pro are the absolute winners in terms of price/experience/sound, especially when poweramp equaliser is used

Absolutely, the best earbuds i could get for their price + i just discovered the poweramp equaliser and it changed the whole sound experience, like it became 10 times better tho they sounded very good from the start

Not gonna hold you, you’ve gotta maintenance and clean them. If not ear wax and sweat might degrade the contacts and clog the drivers.

The only thing thats tough for me with this is that I gave Sony and Jabra a chance in 2021 when they were both the talk of the market and it was so awful that it makes these QC2's(as horrible as they are) seem like the greatest thing ever invented. So I'm very reluctant to give them a chance again. Jabra was TERRIBLE right out of the box. Smh.

Jabra Elite 8 active and Elite 10 both have $19.99 replaceable sleeves

I'm wearing bose QC2's right now listening to this. If I was satisfied with the product, I wouldnt be watching videos to find the best pair of earbuds. They were honestly a disappointment as soon as I tried to connect them. I've had other bose earbuds and so I have the app they demand you have to connect them and yet It was still brutal trying to get them to connect. After finally connecting, the sound was immediately disappointing. Bose completely dropped the ball with QC2 and I'm positive they knew before they released it. QC1 is far superior to the 2.

Status are the ugliest earbuds on the market. They could be the greatest earbuds ever made but I wouldn't buy them because they're ugly and bulky. I owned a pair of the Bose QC2 and they were honestly the best sounding, most comfortable, and best ANC. I thought the app was good. I can't speak to their customer support as I didn't have any issues before I got rid of them. Just my opinion.

Not if you work out. The foam tips melt, I replaced the with the AZ80 tips and they’re 100 times better.

Good you disqualify Bose. I’m over them. There connection to there app. I’m done. They have the nerve to pull that ultra on the public without addressing there connection it’s ridiculous. I stay with XM5 with my custom made tips.

Well the Bose produce terrible white noise in anc mode and have heavy Bluetooth issues. I had the ultras and couldn’t make the left bud work, only the right connected to my iPhone - returned. Further more the case is crazy clunky and brings no features like wireless charging or insane battery life what could justify that. I don’t understand what Bose is doing with their earbuds, the qc45 over ears are flawless.
