Ranking the Top 10 NHL Hockey Players of All Time
The greatest players in NHL history revolutionized the game. Whether it was Bobby Orr proving a defenseman can be a scorer, Wayne Gretzky owning the league or Gordie Howe playing in five different decades, they became transcendent figures in the sport.
But who's the greatest?
More than half of the top 10 was captured largely in black and white during their professional days, so most players featured are of yesteryear. Although past generations still rule, one current star managed to sneak onto the list.

With all due respect, the ranking is too subjective as criteria are not even mentioned. One thing for sure, Gretzky is the greatest NHL player of all time.
Love how the video said Gordie Howe's career games played record will likely stand the test of time, despite it being broken a year before this video was posted. Stellar research like that is probably why they didn't put Gretzky at number 1.
I enjoy these subjective lists as much as anyone. And I feel you added some great names from the past that provide some context for the parameters we expect in the modern game. But to make a top 10 list of "hockey players" and not have a single goalie listed seems unreasonable. Still enjoyed the video despite disagreeing with several of your choices.
What about Connor Mcdavid? How could he not be on this list?
Didn't Bobby Orr get 6 straight 100 point seasons first, not Guy Lafleur? Orr should be number one on this list imo.

100 points yes, but he didn't score 50+ goals in those 6 seasons. Lafleur was the first to score 50+ and get 100+ points in six consecutive seasons. The video omitted the 50+ goals.
Bobby Orr 1970. In one season no other player has ever won over an entire career : Hart Ross Smythe Norris Plus Minus Leader Stanley Cup Won scoring title while being the only player with over 100 Points. Bobby Orr is the only player to ever win these Awards & he did it in a single season. He stand alone on the Mt Olympus of Hockey Legends.
1. The Great one, 2. Mr. Hockey, 3. Super Mario. The rest are a tier down.

Mike Bossy out of top 10? he is tope 2-3 wtf
Super Mario is number 1 imo, just think if he hadn't had cancer and also look at the team he was on whilst still challenging Gretzky for points, Gretzky on the other hand was on arguably one of the best collective teams ever.
players that changed how the game is played ... gretzky is #1.. Orr #2.. Lemieux 3... Howe, Hull, Richard and many other Canadiens would be next in subjective order. You cannot - simply cannot say Howe was #1...

These lists are very subjective and shouldn't be taken too seriously. Everybody has an opinion. What you can't argue though is that these 10 players were among the all time greats.
Crosby 10? he is top 5 and No Jagr?????
