I’ve gotten to meet Ted 3 different times in my life. Once as a kid, once as a teen, and once as an adult. All 3 times he was super classy and polite. Love his guitar playing and the fact that he is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is an absolute joke.

Uncle Ted, despite everything else is a key contributor to metal and hard rock. Can't deny the music catalogue.

I don't know the Nuge catalog very well at all, but I'm going to chime in with a giant RIP to one-time Nuge singer Brian Howe. Really enjoyed his Bad Company output.

Double Live Gonzo beats all his studio work.

Having Martin on your channel is a breath of fresh air. I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of him!

Somehow I talked my mom into getting me Double Live Gonzo when it first came out. I was eleven and absolutely blown away. That being said, I tried to keep up with Nugent post-Gonzo, but I found less and less to grab onto. Just like Pete said, between the juvenile lyrics and the weakly produced 80s albums, he lost me. Are there scattered songs here and there that are worth a listen? Of course. But for me, 75-79 Nugent is all I need to listen to.

For me, although it's not a studio album, Double Gonzo is my favorite.

Scream Dream has always been my favorite. And I have them all. It was the first album by him that I owned. I love his voice and I love the joking funny Nuge. Long live Scream Dream!!!

Ted's latest album Detroit Muscle was obviously done as an excuse to tour, which is fine. He's a maniac on tour, so whatever. Fred Bear is monotonous.

I was lucky enough to meet the Nuge in the early 80's when I was 12 or 13 at a Bear Archery shop. He helped me pick out a bow for my size and skill level. He really knew his shit and he didn't talk down to me because I was a dumb kid. Very cool guy. That said, his first album is still my favorite.

Love the first three albums in that order. Amongst the very best Hard Rock albums of the 70's and it doesn't get any better than that. Derek St Holmes was the magic ingredient and outside of Scream Dream it fell away in the 80's after St Holmes left.

Yes-Craveman is Ted's best later day album-very heavy and fierce with great production!
