with the exception of maybe flash none of the counter measures make any sense as in no world is superman or lantern getting tagged by bullets of their weakness.harley coming up with a countermeasure on the fly of an even stronger fear toxin just makes zero sense considering it had batman losing his mind all game.a lot better could’ve been done for the losses to be believable

In the All Star comics Green Lantern was totally ineffective against yellow paint, and in Smallville and JL: Doom and Superman/Batman Public Enemies Superman gets shot by a Kryptonite bullet and is nearly killed. The new game is just more so consistent with those lower end adaptions. The Fear Toxin isn’t stronger, it’s just not one that Batman’s ever experience. It’s not like he’s ever been totally immune to it; it only gave them a fighting chance using Yellow Lantern powers and LexCorp tech while Batman held back

@@saviourofdreamlandz4099 Personally I feel Lantern’s is at least… excusable. The Green Lanterns and their weaknesses can differ after all, as have they through our history. Heck, they used to be weak to the literal color yellow. At least them using Sinestro Corps stuff is less ridiculous than that. Plus this is a different universe from the usual(meaning they could change things around a little), and on top of that is the fact the ring itself were in some way tampered, so that could also act as an excuse. If it relates to speed, I dunno, that’s my only problem with this tbf. Same for Superman, the weakening part makes sense, it’s gold kryptonite, it should drain his powers over time or at least that’s how it works in this version, that makes sense, but whether or not their reaction time has been boosted by Hack shouldn’t matter with him in my opinion. Either way Superman could have just lasered them right after they killed Batman, on the spot. They sure as hell shouldn’t be able to handle his laser vision, or survive it at that, if Wonder Woman couldn’t then they couldn’t either. All in all though, the bullets weren’t the problem, the fact bullets like that would work makes at least a little sense, it’s the speed factor that bothers me as Superman should have been far too fast, or able to kill them off the bat anyway. Lantern depends, but generally the same deal.

@@monke5523, except for the fact that some of the weaknesses make no sense. Flash is the best fight because it makes the most sense. Slow him down and then hit him until he drops. Batman overcame the fear toxin, learned to use it on his own, and then was defeated by his own stuff because Harley SOMEHOW had the time to reach a level similar to Bruce in fear control? Superman survives getting stabbed by green kryptonite but still gets beaten by gold kryptonite, which takes way longer to weaken him completely, meaning he should be able to have enough strength to at least do more than he did in the fight. Even if the weaknesses make sense, there is so much suspension of disbelief one must have to think that they would have still won against anyone beyond Flash, because compared to him the rest of the League had way more options.

Explain to me how? The spider sense prevents any stealth attacks, and Batman can't compete at a distance. I dont think Batman could even free himself if he got webbed.

Also, I doubt Peter was really gonna pull up the stops on kingpin and sable. One had a warrant on him, and Peter was trying to get him restrained. The other was hired by a government official. The first time he got restrained by cuffs he can easily break quickly (Hammerhead DLC and gameplay). The second time he met her, he used reason and managed to get her on his side. The third time he met her, he tried to talk her down and use diplomacy whilst she was trynna gank his ass.

You mentioning Batman being weakened by the fear fas I s a part of my point in that Batman’s death did make sense. I mean one he was hit with tons of bullets and probably was in a health that’s equivalent to the game over screens. I mean he’s on the verge of death and is semi conscious. Also it was a poetic death for the man who cheated death so many times to finally have time catch up to him.

I find it hard to believe Slade is anywhere above C tier. This is the same guy that got his ass beat so hard by a young, inexperienced, less tech advanced Batman, that he literally says “What ARE you?” He did not push Bruce in the slightest. To add more salt in the wound, he’s amped by a Super Soldier Serum. He has to rely on a a steroid just to compete. Penguin said it best. “World’s Greatest Assassin? You? Bollocks!”

It's officially stated he pushed Origins Batman to his limit, and the Arkham ios fight is years later and canon as well. He could be baffled that a "peak human" fought him, as an enhanced human, even if it pushed Batman to the limit based o the guide.

@@howdoichangemyusername9802He didn’t get his ass beat, per the guide it was hi-diff. Slade’s statement and nebulous gameplay encounters don’t contradict that, plus Arkham City iOS is years later in the timeline and further enforces Slade being relative to Batman.

I’m so glad you pointed out how the squad has no chance against any member of the JL one on one and only beat them because of using very specific counter measures and plot. Each member easily defeated the squad by themselves or were at least heavily implied to be able to do so. GL easily captured the squad in the beginning with chain and prison constructs and would have killed them if it weren’t for the flash. Batman disabled their abilities beat them with one attack each and would have killed them again if it wasn’t for the Flash. The Flash easily took out and killed Lex Luther and would have done the same to the squad if Wonder Woman didn’t show up. WW easily defeated all of them in her introduction, battled GL, stopped the Flash and most impressively was able to fight Superman for a long while despite holding back. Finally Superman easily took care of a nuke catching/tanking the explosion with no repercussions then immediately fighting WW despite her having a kryptonite shield. Every appearance from then on the only reason the squad didn’t die is because WW was fighting him.

It’s sad how dissapointing Arkham Bane is. Origins was the only game that tried to give him anything and even then it wasn’t enough

I just thought of this, but as you said Batman was saying that Robin, Nightwing & Oracle (Jason too if they could find him) all working together with Batman’s plans could defeat the JLA, why couldn’t we get that game, where we play as Nightwing, Robin and RedHood with Oracle & Alfred manning the comms where (same story) they go to Metropolis and have to stop the League & Brainiac

Sorry but Manbat isn't beating Jason Todd, he would just shoot him in the face. Same for a lot of people on this list could be summed up with He just shoots them in the face . I think Red Hood should be At least A Tier also Arkham knight is Stated to be Batman's toughest Opponent up until that point in the franchise.

I’m glad to see Nightwing so high. I thought that he’d be weaker since he was overpowered by Penguin and Poison Ivy but you made a great point that they snuck up on him and the same happened to Batman a few times. I would have much preferred Nightwing and Robin going against the Justice League instead of the game we got. I never knew about Arkham Vr so it was awesome to see that Nightwing could match Batman in a fight.

I think it's also worth noting that Croc had a home turf advantage in Asylum.

I’d argue Batgirl and Robin in matter of family aren’t exactly comparable to Origins Batman, just because they both fought Joker. The circumstances were way different, plus Origins Batman caught joker twice in one night under way more stressful circumstances, and still managed to man handle the clown with way less difficulty than the other two did. Batgirl and Robin literally had a whole boss fight with Joker, while Origins Batman practically bullies the guy in every close quarters encounter they have.

Bane actually never broke Batman's back in the arkhamverse. In a later statement from rocksteady it was revealed that Bane did not break the Batman's back. The entire statement from Batman saying "This time i break you Bane!" was not because the titan broke his back. But because Bane always talked about how he would break the Batman. So batman just used Bane's words against him. He never refrenced an actual event in the arkhamverse (i mean it's still a refrence to the knightfall comic story but that's it).

@@azrael_morningstar If you say that then you haven't played any arkham. The amount of things wrong, irnored, changed, broken canon and power levels completely proves that it isn't actually the arkham universe. Please, make sure you know what you are talking about next time.

@@Jammsbro1 retcons have existed in many pieces of fiction especially when it comes to sequels/prequels. Doesn't change the fact that they are still one universe. I would prefer if this is just a alternative timeline to the Arkham verse aswell but until it's clearly shown by a writer or the game states it, it's cannon the the Arkham verse.

@@azrael_morningstar Nope. Don't give a crap what anyone says. I can argue the entire thing if you want. This isn't a case of a retcon, it's literally shown that it cannot be arkham. This is a team of agenda driven writers who butchered Hill's work in order to cram in their own politics. It might be an official part of AA but ain't canon to the fans any more than the star wars sequel trilogy is.

@@Jammsbro1 what you said just proved your wrong because your just basing this on your feelings rather than what actually this is. They are ofc a political agenda driven team but despite that it's still part of the Arkhamverse until they say otherwise because they're still Rocksteady.

i agree with 99.9% of this video but there’s 0 shot tim drake is a higher rank than arkham knight…. right?!?
