I'm actually from Rocket City (it's in Alabama, where they train Astronauts and shit) and the Trash Pandas came from like a vote on what to call them and decide the mascot, and it was unironically the best option cause at least three options were just humans and the other animal options included Possums, Ants and WORMS.

As a native of Rocket City, the entire municipality of Huntsville and Madison voted on the name Trash Pandas out of a larger list, it was a massive deal!

I went to the blue wahoos stadium for a field trip, not during a game, just to look around. A living cat was in the inside of the stadium and all of the workers collectively bought food for and fed the cat, and the cat would follow us around. I got to pet it.

Besides being Noel's number one fan, Cody really is just everyone's hype man

As a person that lives very near the quad cities, I can confirm that the river bandits mascot has a gun /j Okay but really the quad cities are western Illinois and Eastern Iowa, right on the Mississippi River. It's quite literally 4 cities that ran into each other, hence the "quad" in the name

I know it doesn't matter, but Danny described an ion not an isotope. An isotope has a different number of neutrons in the nucleus than expected.

as someone who has been raised in asheville and has gone to many baseball games in my life, mr.moon (the mascots real name) is the reason why i have a crippling fear of mascots or people in full body costumes. my parents always thought it was funny to make me go up and hug him while I would be crying my eyes out struck with fear. Whenever I see him I have a full body shut down where my brain goes on fight or flight mode and I have to get out of his eye line in the next few seconds or else something bad will happen. I am a 19-year-old college student and every time I see him I still wanna cry my eyes out

As someone that actually works for the Missoula Paddleheads, Paxton (the moose) does play baseball midgame. We also let kids pitch and go around the bases and he chases them the entire time. :)

I lived in Montgomery, AL for about 13 years and I know their minor league team very well. The Montgomery Biscuits are awesome and so is the mascot, Big Mo. He's a 7 foot tall weird lumpy biscuit-gobbling anteater, just in case it wasn't obvious. 🤣 He has won multiple awards over the years, including the coveted Sports Illustrated Mascot of the Year Award.

The reason why the ABQs minor league team is named isotopes is because ABQ is know for the area Los Alamos which was where the atomic bomb was developed hence the name “Isotopes”. Orbit refers to the orbit of an electron around a central atom or the theoretical path of an electron around an atom.

I’ve met Big Mo twice and he gives off BAD vibes. However the Biscuits used to shoot biscuits out of their tshirt cannons at games but the cannons kept breaking from getting clogged with biscuits and I love them for that.

as someone who went to school in the quad cities, we were taught that if iowa is a face, the quad cities are the nostril. also fun fact, the river bandits stadium has completely flooded on multiple occasions

The scariest thing is when your home town pops up on the screen, and u have ur favorite content creators talk about it. (The Quad Cities is a collection of Cities btw. It isn’t just one city, but we do have some pretty nice quads here.)

The minor league team in my hometown had like 4 mascots for a while. I was trying to find them but they recently changed names and went down to one new mascot. He is a water tower though, so that's a bit more fun than the 3 baseballs and 1 bird or whatever the mascots were before. Team is now the Florence Y'alls, mascot is now Y'all Star, the water tower.
