Nice list man! My favorite is Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, followed by Sabotage and Heaven and Hell. I also really love Born Again, a lot of people don't like the production, and the band said themselves that the songs didn't sound like that in the studio, but I think that low quality adds to the scariness of the album.

I think Mob Rules tends to get underrated just because it was released too soon after H&H, got less promotion in the 80s, etc. Heavier than H&H, better lead guitarwork, better drumming thanks to Vinny being recruited (Bill Ward wasn't in the best shape in the 80s), doesn't have "Walk Away" or "Wishing Well"... How is it not the best Dio era album? On Heaven & Hell I hear a band struggling to re-define themselves in the ever-mercurial music industry, on Mob Rules I hear confident heavy metal, nothing more and nothing less.

    1. Master of Reality (has some of their best songs and a very doomy record) 2. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (has some experimentation which makes this an interesting record) 3. Heaven and Hell (Ronnie James Dio at his best; a great replacement for Ozzy, who would have a successful solo career. Has a ton of my favorites off the record) 4. Paranoid (heard these songs on the radio too many times, but nonetheless it's still an awesome record.) 5. Black Sabbath (One of the most important records ever made and the first heavy metal album ever made.) 6. Headless Cross (Tony Martin at his best. Black Sabbath fans write off the Martin era albums I don't get it. And very much doom metal as well. Cozy Powell as the drummer was a smart move since he's one of the best drummers of all time.) 7. Vol. 4 (Had this original at 5, but it's now switched with the debut. However, it's still a great record.) 8. Mob Rules (A great follow up to Heaven and Hell. Little bit rawer than Heaven and Hell, but it's still awesome. 9. Tyr (Another great Tony Martin album, and the most underrated album of them all. Tony Martin may not had been Ozzy or Ronnie James Dio, but Martin was a great singer too.) 10. Dehumanizer (3 Ronnie James Dio Sabbath albums in the top 10? Yeah, that's right! Ronnie James Dio did a great job. Plus we got back the Heaven and Hell lineup.) 11. Sabotage (Only at 11 because the other 10 are better and I need to give credit to both Dio and Tony Martin. Nonetheless, still an awesome album. Hole In the Sky and Symptom of the Universe are bangers.) 12. 13 (Just like Sabotage, it's a great album, but the other 11 are way better. And I thought it was a great final album for Sabbath. Still has that charm.) 13. The Eternal Idol (The first album with Tony Martin, an underrated jam.) 14. Technical Ecstasy (Not that bad of a record at all. It's very solid. Bill Ward sings It's Alright, which sounds like a Paul McCartney ballad. And let's not forget Dirty Women. Probably a top 5 Black Sabbath song. It's so good, despite the album only being at 14 due to the other 13 being better.) 15. The Devil You Know (not really a Black Sabbath album, but from the Heaven and Hell lineup. It's still a solid album. It might not be as iconic as the 3 Dio Sabbath era albums, but it's still very good.) 16. Seventh Star (a guilty pleasure album for me personally. I know it's not the greatest album ever, but I wouldn't call it the worst. In for the Kill, Turn to Stone and Danger Zone are the 3 best songs off the album. No Stranger to Love is a guilty pleasure. It could had been used in a crappy action movie with a love scene. And some crappy action movies are awesome.) 17. Cross Purposes (A fine album. Descent album, not great or bad album. Just somewhere in the middle for me.) 18. Born Again (Not a great album at all for me. Although I do love Disturbing the Priest, Zero the Hero, and Digital Bitch.) 19. Never Say Die (a disappointing album and a time where everything just fell out for the band.) 20. Forbidden (One of the worst albums of all time. They tried to become Rap Sabbath, which they were trying to crossover with other genres. Did not work.) Very tough discography to rank. One of the most important heavy metal bands of all time.

My favorite Black Sabbath album has always been switching between Master of Reality, and pretty popular choice, and Sabotage, not a really popular choose. Master of Reality is heavy, doomy, and has a fantastic track listing. Sabotage is really underrated, Megalomania, The Writ, and The Thrill of It All, are underrated, and Hole in the Sky and Symptom of the Universe are also fantastic and get the love they deserved. I also love Mob Rules, which would probably my #3. The debut, Paranoid, and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath are great, too. I also agree with you that Tony Martin is great, and that Seventh Star isn’t that great. I already had one unpopular opinion with Sabotage, so might as well add another one to the list: Dehumanizer is a freaking fantastic record. Better than Heaven and Hell in my opinion, Probably tied for Mob Rules as my #3, it is without a doubt their heaviest record, and so bone-crushingly doomy it is crazy. Anyway, keep up the great content!

I HATE those happy, 80's synths. Even without them, that album is supposedly dark, and a couple tunes are, but also a couple tunes simply give off too 'happy' of a vibe.
