Let's just wait for her next solo, I bet it will be a self made album. KDH (ceo) said about 2 years ago that wheein wrote many songs in a week but he didn't want to add them to mamamoo's album and will probably keep them for her solo album

Let’s show appreciation, not only to Mamamoo, but to their label. There are a lot of amazing singers in kpop, but their labels will only have them sing catchy songs that don’t showcase their vocals. Mamamoo’s music has great variety, you can often tell in which part of their career their songs came out. They the best vocals that I’ve ever heard from any kpop girl group❣️

I think the uploader based on real LIVE performance.. To be honest, I was also thinking the same same thing, but looking back at their performances, she tends to skip those parts a lot... Hwasa is more comfortable in these registry when it comes to live performances..

I would say Moonbyul is sexy deep voice. I’m a girl but i feel so sexual atracted when i hear her voice

I think Wheein has a few instances where she’s explored some of the 6th octave with her head voice, but yeah Hwasa is realllyyy a good head voice user. They’re all so talented, and I’m sure they’ll continue to grow vocally!

I don't think they're in any way negating all of their individual strengths, charms and talents, even if Wheein is *technically* the best vocalist by most objective standards. In fact, Wheein is actually probably the least popular and under-appreciated member, especially among non-moomoos 😅

I have been anxiously awaiting this. They are one of the most technically consistent groups i have ever seen! Also thank you so much for the tag but honestly you really shouldn’t have. Especially actually mentioning me in the video! You already did so much research that I barely provided any new clips. When I first listened to MAMAMOO, I couldn't even differentiate Wheein and Hwasa's voice in their records for some reason (their tone kinda sounds similar to me). With that, I didn't appreciate her enough, always focusing on the other members and their skills. But when I heard them perform 'I Miss You' on Queendom, it's like my ears opened for the very first time (???). I couldn't get over her smooth and silky voice. The way she sings makes it look effortless. Amazing singer, indeed!

That's technically a lot of people that are new to mamamoo. It also happened to me. She isn't noticed at first, like a hidden jam but once you notice her! That's it you can never wheeout!

Mamamoo really changed my prospective about kpop this girls can really sing actually they sing very good it’s so satisfying to my nonskilled ears and when you get to know their personality you just can’t let them go like never!

Hwasa has a lot of potential to be even way better than she is.

My bias is Moonbyul Bias wrecker is Hwasa Then bias wreker's bias wrecker Wheein and then comes wonderful Solar Yet...from all of them my favorite singing voice is Hwasa's, there's this enchanting side about it... seductive yet sweet, high ranged, flexible and versatile voice. Her vocal potential is incredible whereas I think Wheein and Solar have reached the peak of their singing talent. Which is, incredible, both of them are extraordinary singers that deliver one of the best vocals in the history of singing, yet, in my opinion, Hwasa has only started to bloom. Meaning, there's no certainty how much her vocals can really develop. Nevermind Moonbyul...she hasn't even begun to show us just how flexible and skillful her singing can become, but I'm pretty sure she might even be as good as Wheein or even surpass her in terms of range and technicality (control) ☆

One of the best vocalists in K-pop I've seen.), dances (Best dancer in the group), plays instruments (Exceptional drummer, I would say), is hilarious and proficient at many, many other things. I now know that Wheein is appreciated inside the fandom, but people do tend to overlook her outside of it. Given how talented she is, she definitely deserves better.

@GAYATRI SAMUDRA I, personally, have not seen any fanwars inside the Moomoo fandom (Thank god for that). I love all the members and think they're all amazing. However, I don't agree with you when you say that Solar is overlooked. Most people when new to Mamamoo, tend to go for either Hwasa or Solar. After spending some time getting to know the girls, they become Wheein biased (From what I have seen). I would say Byul is the most overlooked member, both inside and outside the fandom. And I think it's dumb to compare Solar and Wheein's vocals. They are both amazing and there isn't much of a gap between them technically. But maybe you had a different experience from me with Mamamoo.

I really enjoy the little introductions you give to each member. It sounds so sophisticated and you really describe them accurately and so poetically haha. I love your passion and your expressiveness! Well done! I can tell this will be a great video already!

This is one of the most fair evaluations I've seen of their vocals. I will say that Moonbyul shines best in solo material where she can switch between singing and rapping and isn't fighting to be heard over the monster voices of her colleagues. Also, it's not talked about often but Moonbyul and Wheein have similar voices and often harmonize with each other. Thank you so much for this, though I was expecting more of Moon Byul's singing clips especially her belt in Ten Nights and in their latest Immortal song appearance . Wow they actually surprised me!!! Their voices are really enjoyable and freacking versatile!! I loved that High belts, low notes, rap, soft vocals, aggressive vocals, etc. they surprised me a lot! I saw a lot of people saying that them and Red Velvet are the best Kpop groups that exist right now, and I understand why now!!

I have music background in instruments and absolutely agree Wheein's technique is the best out of all the members. But in terms of personality my bias is still moonbyul. Just a personal preference, love all 4 of them equally much

Solar's performance of my heart will go on is what got me to stan mamamoo

When I think of upper range I think of the cleopatra game where solar somehow eliminated herself in round one and moonbyul took out everyone including herself 🤣

maybe you can refer some of moonbyul's vocal from her solo works like eclipse, absence, her christmas songs (snow; 3 days before christmas), solo song covers, and many others. you know, my bias is also wheein, but i'd like to consider moonbyul as one of the best singer out there, since she keeps progressing her vocal skill through her entire carrier.

It’s always cool to see how they objectively compare to each other. I wish Moonbyul had been allowed to focus on singing as much as she originally wanted to. But of course, her rapping is amazing and we love her for it.

I love #Mamamoo just hearing them touch the sky, Hwasa's sexy voice, Wheein's sweet voice, Solar's powerful voice and Moonbyul's elegant voice and rap, they are the Vocal Queens

Even though I completely agree that Hwasa comes first regarding upper range, I believe you should check Wheein's whistle note in Woo Hoo! I believe that makes it easier to untie

The cleaning and control of WheeIn + the passion and great interpretation of Hwasa for me are the best combinations. I like that they recognize Hwasa as a singer because lately they only label her as the sexy or stage presence girl.

Wheein is amazing, I love her so much and she's my bias. She's definitely the backbone of the group and an ace of kpop, being the best vocalist and best dancer of Mamamoo

Mamamoo members have some of the best vocals in the whole K-Pop industry as you were able to see for yourself. These girls REALLY deserve more attention. Just a suggestion: Blackjacks form a very big fandom even after disbandment and they remain loyal to anyone who talks about 2NE1 so you should do them next, I'm sure you would receive a few lots of new views 👀

He would get a lot of hate from Bom's fanboys/girls. They aĺl think highly of her as a vocalist when technically Minzy is the best vocalist of the group.

What I love about Mamamoo is that the members are each so vocally competent, that it's hard for me to have one bias. Plus they each bring something so different, but they harmonise so well! Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa are powerful soloists, but are even more powerful when they sing together, it's breathtaking ❤

Besides techniques, what i love about wheein’s voice is its so versatile and soulful you can feel what shes singing

You said MoonByul is the only Rapper in Mamamoo, and that isn't true. Hwa Sa is also a Rapper, but her role of Rapper has just minimized in the group. Also MoonByul is a trained vocalist, and came in as a vocalist, it's just RBW, had too many vocalist, and had her move to the role of Rapper.

Oh I wish you had more Moonbyul material to work with. She's released countless covers on the main official channel with most of them ballads and R&B tracks but its not your fault since your not familiar with them but you would have had more to say about her upper register. Appreciate the effort though

They are so good! For lows, I don't think that there's a difference between the three. Their lows are average, with support down to G#3/A3 and their projection could be better. For belting, I agree that Hwasa is the 3rd one, as she is much more inconsistent that both Wheein and Solar. Some of her best opened notes aren't in this video tho. Solar and Wheein are very different, and it's a really close battle in belting. I'd say that Solar is a bit more consistent with openneses, as Wheein can get a little nasal, but Wheein performs better above C#5. I always thought that Wheein's upper belts are beautiful, it's a shame she doesn't go for them a lot. Solar's two first C#5s were actually resonant. They were pushed just like every 5th octave note from her. I agree with the agilty, although the differences between the three, are again, small. That run from Wheein(the pink dress) wasn't good at all.. For the upper range, I think Wheein is a bit more relaxed than Solar. So Wheein>=Solar>>Hwasa. It's amazing that all of them are able to resonant at least up to C5! It's rare to see that in a girl group.

@@liz2668 well none of the three have good or impressive agility so that’s already something we shouldn’t look at the most but Solar is very consistent with her support and resonance up to C#. Hwasa can get inconsistent even lower than C5 due to being fatigued or having too much tension, the hv part is meh because they all have underdeveloped upper registers

@@izonexbae well the 3 of them doesn't use Head Voice at all, they mostly use Falsetto for their Upper Register. I think Wheein recently been using/developing her Head Voice but it's a rumor that I just stumbled on. But for now, if we ranked them for their Falsetto capability, I personally think that Hwasa > Wheein > Solar ( > Greater than) ( < Less than)

i agree with almost everything except the head voice part, hwasa is really good but its still unhealthy compared to wheein’s incredibly well supported and clear head voice and falsettos, she is a master at this, i think u should check out more of wheein’s head voice/falsetto compilation, that was the thing that got me like she does it soooo effortlessly and its still soooo clear and well supported she is so good at this, in the kpop industry absolutely no one can beat her at this

RV doesn't have extensive live performances outside of music shows where they sing without backtrack vocals unlike MMM..MMM builts their career around all these live performances. So maybe it would be hard for him to analyse due to the lack of materials..

@@laramiaizz I don't think so, there are quite a lot of performances of RV singing in dance practice rooms, wendy who does insta lives singing joy who also has quite a good amount of covers and seulgi who also has quite a few. Irene and yeri would be the problem.

Her lost passion isnt just bc she has other interests, its bc anytime she makes a comeback sm suppresses her work and influences music shows to cancel her performances, which happened both on her debut and her 10th anniversary. Which is why we have to rely on fancams to see her sing. And she still sounds incredible. @@null6955 yeah, it's good to hear from jessica, im not updated with snsd for years now so im not updated with everything they do yeah, she hasn't gotten worse but she retains the same technique tiffany didn't improve i agree with that, she just have better choices in her song and approach sooyoung did actually improved but it's not massive, she still didnt have grounded support in her voice

Take a sip everytime you hear "Hwasa" and "confident" in the same phrase

Once you Wheein you can’t Wheeout! I’m surprised you didn’t talk more about their harmonizes! They’re insane when they sing together and I feel that’s where Wheein, the back bone of the group, truly showcases her musically and pitch. Also, Wheein can reach whistle notes.

This is a really interesting vid to watch. I absolutely adore these girls and as a wheein bias her voice just takes me into cloud nine. It's so so effortless I love it. But what i like about mamamoo the most is that even tho wheein is considered the best technically, solar and hwasa shine in other departments so each vocalist brings something new to the table. Not to mention moonbyuls insane skill in rapping. They're a group full of aces for sure

such a good analysis of their voices!! I agree that sometimes their belting may get a bit raspy and uncontrolled, looking at the clips, it could be due to exhaustion from performing at events and concerts for a few days straight. but nonetheless top notch vocals from every single member

He said "Her voice is actually not that volumnuos compare to other girls and she is not a natural talent but she sweat blood for this. I can assure you that. The girl in the blue (Wheein) is more of a natural talent with a great voice. The girl in the red (Hwasa) is like that too but the girl in yellow (Solar) worked so hard. She is definetly the most hardworking one of them. Normally you cant belt this "E" sounds easily. She puts all she has. Uses diyaphram, leans forward, open mouth and holds the note crystal clear."
