It is my personal favorite album of his equally tied with TPAB. Reason being he showcases so much passion and heart through both in different ways. Each personal each touch differently and have a message coming across which is impossible to miss.

Ain’t no way… The production is better on damn, damn has multiple of his best songs of all time, the song writing is better on damn, the hits are better on damn, the lyricism is better on damn, damn has a better album concept, the tracklist is better on damn, damn tells a better story, and so on. MM&TBS is by far his weakest project and the only reason you wouldn’t think that is because of recency bias

@niyandrey I'm 10 months late but fuck it, damn doesn't have a concept he talks about that he doesn't talk about elsewhere just better. His fears of his current life? Mr morale. Prejudice in America? TPAB (even gkmc). The struggles growing up and gang life? GKMC. Hell even section 80 talks about the history of prejudice better with songs like Ronald Reagan Era than Damn. Damn is def better than section 80 and OD. But that's because the production is only 2nd to TPAB and damn is by far has his best tracks when it comes to flows and rhymes.

i’d argue damn is amazing too. for years i just thought of it as a mainstream project without any real meaning but after learning about the whole wickedness / weakness concept it has grown on me. also has some of his best tracks ever like feel , pride , lust , fear , duckworth etc

@@BruhMcDonald Ok, first off I don’t hate Damn, but it’s easily his most inconsistent album. Songs like Yah, Loyalty, Love, Lust and God are not that great. The album is still a high 7/10. Second off, untitled unmastered has no skips and some of his best songs, like 2, 5, 6 and 8. Every song is amazing and it is barely better than Mr Morale. That’s because it is more consistent, because Mr Morale has 2 songs I don’t enjoy that much: Die Hard and Purple Hearts. Other than that, Mr Morale is flawless. Hope that explained some stuff.

Section.80 is a lot better than just “good”. It’s an album he can’t re-create. The mood is amazing. Songs like Poe Man’s Dreams, Kush and Corinthians, ADHD, Blow My High and Ab Soul’s Outro are such a vibe. Rigamortus and Ronald Reagan Era are bangers. Personal cuts on there too. I think it deserves to be above UU and even Mr Morale.

It is my personal favorite album of his equally tied with TPAB. Reason being he showcases so much passion and heart through both in different ways. Each personal each touch differently and have a message coming across which is impossible to miss.

Ain’t no way… The production is better on damn, damn has multiple of his best songs of all time, the song writing is better on damn, the hits are better on damn, the lyricism is better on damn, damn has a better album concept, the tracklist is better on damn, damn tells a better story, and so on. MM&TBS is by far his weakest project and the only reason you wouldn’t think that is because of recency bias

@niyandrey I'm 10 months late but fuck it, damn doesn't have a concept he talks about that he doesn't talk about elsewhere just better. His fears of his current life? Mr morale. Prejudice in America? TPAB (even gkmc). The struggles growing up and gang life? GKMC. Hell even section 80 talks about the history of prejudice better with songs like Ronald Reagan Era than Damn. Damn is def better than section 80 and OD. But that's because the production is only 2nd to TPAB and damn is by far has his best tracks when it comes to flows and rhymes.
Why tf do ppl even hate damn. Its amazing, tbh i like all his albums. My too is either GKMC, MMABS, 80. Those 3 just hit different for me.

i’d argue damn is amazing too. for years i just thought of it as a mainstream project without any real meaning but after learning about the whole wickedness / weakness concept it has grown on me. also has some of his best tracks ever like feel , pride , lust , fear , duckworth etc

Section 80 is such a good album. I can criticize some of the rough edges ideas wise, but he’s obviously grown and changed as a person and I still adore it as an album and a look at the foundations for gkmc and tpab.

@@BruhMcDonald Ok, first off I don’t hate Damn, but it’s easily his most inconsistent album. Songs like Yah, Loyalty, Love, Lust and God are not that great. The album is still a high 7/10. Second off, untitled unmastered has no skips and some of his best songs, like 2, 5, 6 and 8. Every song is amazing and it is barely better than Mr Morale. That’s because it is more consistent, because Mr Morale has 2 songs I don’t enjoy that much: Die Hard and Purple Hearts. Other than that, Mr Morale is flawless. Hope that explained some stuff.

Section.80 is a lot better than just “good”. It’s an album he can’t re-create. The mood is amazing. Songs like Poe Man’s Dreams, Kush and Corinthians, ADHD, Blow My High and Ab Soul’s Outro are such a vibe. Rigamortus and Ronald Reagan Era are bangers. Personal cuts on there too. I think it deserves to be above UU and even Mr Morale.

I think the steppers record was deserving of winning album of the year. I really liked that album and it’s sound was unique but I did make fun of people like me who listened to it and got hella emotionally attached to it
