Chaeryoung is definitely the best dancer of itzy. If you rank it by technique, smoothness, and experience Chaeryoung wins. She is not only one of the best idol dancers in 4th gen but her and her sister are mentioned as some of the best dancers in Kpop history. Yeji is close behind her in all those categories and is on her level when I comes to idol dancing but the reason why Yeji is seen as better is because her stage presence elevates her dancing.

@@CrownPrinceEdvin idol dancing and open style are very different, you can't really mix the two. Open style is more about technique and idol dancing is just about executing the choreo perfectly. Idol dancing really doesn't matter that much as anyone can do that with practice, even after not having that good techniques.

Even as a yeji biased I think Chaer is the best dancer in itzy without a doubt.She has the smoothness,fluency and stability..One of the reasons why she doesn't get tired or gets out of breath easily while dancing and singing at same time..She's legit on the list of one of the best dancers in KPOP HISTORY along with her sister..Even pro dancers admit about how good she is with the great control in her body and she never gets on with the flow and over do it..She's literally a gem that we don't deserve..

YEJI (LOW TIER 5) - Strong foundations - Sharp moves - Good isolations - Fluid control of torso to hips - Disengaged arms at times - Can incorporate a better range of dynamics & texture. 2. RYUJIN (HIGH TIER 6) - Strong body locks & pops - Her addition of hits and stops makes her dynamics more clear and interesting - Poor extensions - Weird body allignments - Poor sense of shape - Restricted use of space 3. CHAERYEONG (HIGH TIER 7) - Foundations arent that strong for anything outside of itzy - Lacks street influenced technique - Dynamic wise really bland and uninteresting - Loses her fluidity, footwork and musicality during faster tempos or while doing full out choregraphies. - Can't really project power 4. YUNA (HIGH TIER 7) - Clear allignments - Balance issues - Weak locks and pops - Decent isolations & coordination - Lacks Power projection 5. LIA (LOW TIER 7) - Poor musicality & body control - Coordination issues (She has definitely improved since debut)

Chaeryeong is better than Yeji

Chaeryeong is overall the best dancer in ITZY in my opinion. As a dancer she really has it all. She can be sharp yet fluid. She embodies each concept and has gotten better with having fun on stage, which is the most important when it comes to dancing. She is one of the best 4th gen dancers (out of those I have seen so far) if not the best!! Literally one of the best dancers in kpop out there. She often is overviewd and underrated, since she’s more of a reserved girl anf soft spoken. But she’s really something else! A great dancer anf vocalist at that. I’m glad people are starting to recognise her skills and potential.

sorry to say but yeji has a dance crew before she audition to jyp, that crew focus on hip-hop and other genre of dancing. Therefore, I conclude Yeji is the best dancer in itzy because she knows how to adapt in any song, powerful dance moves, a very detailed dancer, facial expression wise, charisma is natural and she's both feminine and boyish in dancing.

I’m not saying yeji is worse I’m saying chaeryeong is slightly better because she has more energy, movement, flow and even when you see chaeryeong dance like in not shy she looks powerful and yet so elegant/ flowy!

@@caerwyn009 Yeji has better dance technique than all Itzy members. itzy is a good dancer, yeji and chaer are itzy's main dancers but yeji's dance technique is better than chaer. all trinees at jyp and jyp themselves admit that, even professional dancers know it better because they are more detailed in determining more precise movements and have a perfect overall movement (detail, sharpness, smoothness, energy, strength, fluidity, speed, agility, and also facial expressions in dancing). Call me too entitled to claim I'm a dancer. Yes, I am a dancer. I'm an experienced one. From the dancer's point of view, Yeji is definitely the best dancer among all ITZY members, followed by Ryujin. But just because Chaeryeong isn't the best doesn't mean her talent in dancing has gone unnoticed. Most of these Chae stans just couldn't accept that there's someone better than her. Yeji nailed it in terms of technique, balancing sharpness and fluidity, with precise footwork and hand details. I even thought at first that she came from a team of professional dancers. She's not perfect. She sometimes expends too much energy on certain movements and overpowers the rest of the members like forgetting that she's dancing with a group. Despite such, she literally showcases that well-defined moves. As for Ryujin, she's not that fluid, but she isn't bad at it, maybe because it's not something she prefers. She mostly excels at popping and swag movements which is an advantage of doing an open style. Talking about Chaeryeong, her fluidity is insane, and she truly has that flexibility that contributes to her fluid movements. Honestly, among all members, her dance style is what I love the most. I may be into some complicated movements, but I also love movements that execute fluidity (but I'm not saying that fluidity is easy like dude not all dancers can do that amazingly, and here's Chaeryeong, doing it excellently). When I saw her dancing a strong choreo, she made it look really easy. She didn't even try hard like she was showing everyone that despite the difficulty level of the choreography, she will always do it effortlessly. Definitely, her fluidity and elegance made a huge contribution to that. However, if you watch her videos carefully, you will notice that her footwork is not well-defined, and she frequently does too much with her hands, making her dancing appear unbalanced. Admit it or not, most solo fans believe she is the best dancer simply because she is Lee Chaeyeon's sister. That should not be your standard for determining who is the best. Even Lee Chaeyeon isn't as good as everyone claims. She was surrounded by a lot of professional dancers when I saw her on SWF. She didn't stand out, but the gap between her and them isn't that far either. I can even say that Chaeryeong dances better than her sister.

Imo she's the best dancer in itzy. Like she blows everyone else out of the water.

Personally I think Chaeryeong is the best in idol dancing (I really like her energy and her moves are fluid). I also think Yuna is very good in idol dancing. But when it comes to free style I think Ryujin and Yeji are very good. Lia is more like an idol dancer because she is not that precise in her moves.

I just scrolled down the comments...so I think I should explain this. Chaeryeong is no doubt an amazing idol dancer since she has over 5 years of training on it but when we are talking about open style, she lacks a bit. She loses overall fluidity and stability on footwork when the tempo gets a little faster. And she could've been way higher on the list if she projected a little more power in full out dancing(you can see that in her AOTM)

Something i love about yuna is how she never loses her energy and presence on stage!

yeji is far above ryujin in both idol and open style to me, and i’ve been dancing for over ten years. ryujin has pretty extremely hunched posture and some pelvic issues, and tends to shorten her movements, making them small and not well projected. she also has some tension in her arms and sloppy leg angles. yeji does not have any of those issues and her leg angles are clear and defined.

I mean if we are talking about issues the reaosn ryujin is above yeji is because yeji can not dance small her core is always stiff and has poor flexibility her movement consecration is based off open style while she’s always off in idol dancing… that’s the reaosn ryujin is better because ryujin knows how to “dance small” and it’s noticeable yeji could not dance not shy for her life and struggled the most because of the small fine detail that’s open style dancers don’t struggle with.

In my opinion the best dancer in ITZY is Yeji and Yuna, my reasons: First: Yuna has a sexy style and has her moves are powerfull and Yeji's dance is really good and has experience + her stage present. Second: Chaeryeong is good but sometimes exagerates too much. Ryujin is good dancer too but her moves are small sometimes and she needs to do bigger ones, if she would do bigger moves she would be the best dancer in ITZY. Third: Lia's dance isnt bad but she needs to make her movements more powerfull.

Yes that is true about all of them especially lia. Lia has anemic which also affect her dancing and she also has anxiety disorder too.

But Lia's dancing is so cute and more soft dancing😊😊😊

RYUJIN (HIGH TIER 6) - Strong body locks & pops - Her addition of hits and stops makes her dynamics more clear and interesting - Poor extensions - Weird body allignments - Poor sense of shape - Restricted use of space 3. CHAERYEONG (HIGH TIER 7) - Foundations arent that strong for anything outside of itzy - Lacks street influenced technique - Dynamic wise really bland and uninteresting - Loses her fluidity, footwork and musicality during faster tempos or while doing full out choregraphies. - Can't really project power 4. YUNA (HIGH TIER 7) - Clear allignments - Balance issues - Weak locks and pops - Decent isolations & coordination - Lacks Power projection 5. For me, Ryujin is the best dancer in Itzy. No hate to other members. Then followed by Yeji, Chaeryoung, Yuna, and Lia. She's been consistent. From Dalla Dalla up to present. She's so versatile and can even dance like a male idol. It's all her swag, stage presence, and the only female idol who's never forgotten her steps. Notice why she's always the center or solo during dance breaks. The Wannabe era shoulder dance is another proof.

@@charliesingh7919 Yes my preference. She's always the center for a reason. Yuna is good but overpowered though. The only member closest to Ryujin when it comes to good dancing is Yeji. Next is Chae, Yuna, then Lia.

Although I personally like Yeji’s dancing better, Chaer is prob the best overall. Yuna & Ryujin are amazing too. Ryujin has a lot of swag, and Yuna has AMAZING stage presence!! It’s honestly really impressive and I feel like she doesn’t get noticed very much compared to the other members?

(for me) I like Yeji's dance the most but jyp entertainment they has given up the main dancer to Chaeryeong and I think jyp made the right choice

I think yeji has more pop and is overall the best dancer but obviously its super close and yuna isnt really behind she just has her own style.

@@niasusilawati5611 chaeryeong is the official best dancer in itzy, but i do prefer yeji’s style. yeji and chaeryeong are definitely over ryujin. having weak stage presence definitely puts shadows on your skills, so i can understand why chaeryeong doesn’t stand out(?) on stage. chaeryeong is the most experienced and overall skilled dancer in itzy. gets it from her genes i guess, as seen with her sister. but yeji is like hyunjin, while lee know is the better, more technical dancer, hyunjin is better with his presence, performance, and delivery. chaeryeong is like lee know. stage presence is important as a dancer :) so yeji is really an all rounder. (even if she’s weak in other standards), i’d say she’s average overall but strong in dance.

@@caerwyn009 Yeji has better dance technique than all Itzy members. itzy is a good dancer, yeji and chaer are itzy's main dancers but yeji's dance technique is better than chaer. all trinees at jyp and jyp themselves admit that, even professional dancers know it better because they are more detailed in determining more precise movements and have a perfect overall movement (detail, sharpness, smoothness, energy, strength, fluidity, speed, agility, and also facial expressions in dancing). @@caerwyn009 yeji attended a dance school or dance academy since she was in elementary school until she became a trainee at JYP, her dance skills are not only idol dancers but almost become professional dancers if she doesn't become an idol, and there's a lot of evidence, so yeji's dance is better than chaer in various dance styles because she has experience dancing for open style and idol dance. chaer only supports dance idol dancers and does not cover as many dance styles as yeji.

Professional dancers said that: - Yeji has very neat dance lines (she's known to be very detailed in her steps which makes sense cuz she's a perfectionist) - She also has great musicality (the way she dances to the beat is always on point) -She has great flexibility (not like ballet dancers but the kind of flexibility that is enough to execute particular moves like splits & bending the back) - Has amazing facial expressions that is consistent all throughout - She makes nice and big moves, her energy is also very consistent til the very end - And lastly, they said that "she has the best dancing skills with such a strong foundation"

Don't forget during straykids survival show, itzy was there with other trainees to compete who's gonna debut. But JYPE himself, choose Yeji as the best dancer and performer, that even straykids adore her dancing style. SO PERIOD

Tbh yeji and chaeryeong are both the best dancers in Itzy with technique. It just comes down to what ppl prefer in dance that elevates wither one is slight better than the other because of the persons taste in dance not the dancer themselves. I like yeji powerful and sharp movements and her style in hiphop. While someone else would love chaeryeong fluid and smooth movement more it’s literally just preference in the end and type of dance they are doing.

Chaeryeong being the 2nd best dancer of the 4th generation (the best dancer of the 4th generation is chaeyon sister)

I’m sure A lot of people will agree with me on this in K-pop when you have the better stage presence than the main dancer even even if you are not the main dancer fans will say you are the better dancer that wats happening in these case I personally choose CHEARYEONG cause in dancing if you and some else are on the same level in dance and u get more exhausted quickly than the other that makes the better dancer Because dancing is not only about technique it’s also about your agility and the amount of time you can last while dancing. I no a lot of yeti fans will pick are as the better dancer just because she got the opening of mama then that literally stupid For example chearyeong is to take over all of yeji part for a whole month and she gets the opening and center she will surely be recognized as the better dancer in no time so don’t bother argueing ok😊

In my opinion, Chaeryoung is the best dancer, her smoothness and flexible body to so much experience, Ryujin is great though I would say her shoulder dance elevated her more, as for Yeji, Yeji is charismatic and has great stage precence quality which many people can confuse her as the best dancer.

CHAERYEONG THE BEST AND MAIN DANCER OF ITZY.

I actually think that both chaeryoung and Yeji are good in dancing because Yeji has that tomboy type of dance and chaeryoung has more like a feminine type which makes some difference, I'm a midzy so i go for both of them, they stand in equal position when it comes to dance......each one of them has unique charisma and skills so I'm gonna go for both and as far as i seen many professional dancers have said that both Yeji and chaeryoung are good at dancing and that they loved their style so yeah....i go for both

to me all of them are a good dancer, but chaeryeong has a better technique that i really love. yeji is also a professional dancer. but the last word is ryujin dance style is more my type. she has that hip hop vibe in her dancing. also yuna has improved a lot and hope lia come back with a healthier and stronger presence(:💌💫
