Fun fact about the Beatle: the speed of it going up depends on the characters weight. And if you turn Bowser into metal and then throw the beatle, it won't KO because Bowser's too heavy. It'll break before it hits the blastzone.

GUST BELLOWS IS THE BEST ITEM

The curry actually increase your run speed and the hitstun makes it so that enemies could get hit by things they wouldn't normally get him by. If you press up or down with the warp star you can manipulate when it comes down. Screw attack also increases jump height Killing edge's charge also works when you throw it so it can also be a top tier projectile. Homerun bat also reflects like Ness' forward smash, not that you'd ever use it for that. The first hit of Beast Ball true combo's into the second hit and hones which puts ridiculous pressure on shields.

Another amusing thing about the Fake Smash Ball, is that none of the computer players can tell the difference between it and the normal Smash Ball, from levels 1 up to 9 I sometimes just turn on Items to Very High, with only Fake Smash Ball on, 8 computers at level 9, and end up watching a fight that can easily have 5 or 6 Fake Smash Balls flying around the screen at the exact same time (it might be possible to have even more than that out, but they tend to not survive long enough to find out) And since none of the computers can tell it's fake, they always go for them, and all the explosions cause so much absolute *_chaos_* that I'm entertained just watching

@@bushysowavvey if it helps, an easy way to tell the difference between the two is, with the vertex of the two lines at the lower left, the Fake Smash Ball had a thicker horizontal line, while the Real Smash Ball has a thicker vertical line

OmegaUltima yeah I knew right after I accidentally hit one. It was like my first match with the game and everything turned on. Had no idea there was a fake final smash ball

I remember playing with 2 of my friends in a free for all and this happened: Let's say one of my friends was "A" and the other was "B" for simplicity's sake So A was Ganondorf, B was Cap Falcom, and I was Ike. We had a few certain items on and we played on Final Destination. A Soccer Ball spawned in. A was on the left side of the stage, I was in the middle and high, because I was launched, and B was high and right. A prepared a warlock punch from the left side to hit the soccer ball into me, but I predicted that and prepared a flame column and actually hit the soccer ball. The ball flew at B but he also did a falcon punch AND HIT THE SOCCER BALL AGAIN. It came all the way back and KO'd Ganon at 50%. Still probably one of the most wild things we did

Nothing personal, but you ignored some glaring weaknesses in certain items. The lightning bolt and Timer items can backfire for example, causing the negative effect to ONLY affect the person who used it (or sometimes just affect everyone). And although I don't think it was like this in previous games, the Franklin Badge can be knocked off of you if you're hit hard enough with a melee attack and then the opponent can grab it. I've had that happen far too many times while playing World of Light. I disagree about a few others, but those are ultimately subjective.

Disruption of my opponent? Yes. But when neutral projectiles, stage hazards, or misinputted attacks will cause it to hit either anyone or me, instead? Yeah, no. Plus, the sudden zoom out of the camera disrupts both of us, and the person affected by them can make them hit you if they get near you. Not worth it overall.

Edit: You have to get close to the opponent to hit back, which sure, you can do that when they don’t expect it but I don’t want to wait two minutes to do it. Not much different from FE( Fire Emblem ) character’s counter only it’s more viable. Not to mention Snake can still barrage you with grenades and C4S.

Here's some things to note that some other comments probably forgot to mention. -Warp Star You can adjust the timing that you come down with up and down. Delay by holding Up, come down even faster than normal by holding down. The little description it has in training mode even talks about this. It's probably not much, but nearby opponents might mess up their airdodge timing and could get hit. -Home-Run Bat You can reflect projectiles with it during the Smash attack. The frames during the charge-up swing and just before the swing ends or something like that is when you can deflect projectiles. You'll automatically swing the projectile in front of you when the projectile is close enough, so you don't have to worry about timing much at all. Just make sure you're aiming the swing in the direction of the incoming projectile or you'll get hurt instead. -Bullet Bill If you aim it down, you'll not only go through thin platforms, but when you hit the main platform that you can't go through, an explosion that does 36% damage to nearby opponents happens. You can combo this with the initial ramming of the move for a quick 66% damage, and you can't shield it, I think. You can, however, reflect Bullet Bill, and that'll do a lot of damage to the foe using it. Try deflecting a bullet bill with a Home-Run Bat and that's an easy 96% damage (done in training mode) done to the opponent. Having a Franklin Badge on completely nullifies Bullet Bills (the explosion apparently is a projectile based on wearing a Franklin Badge in training mode). -Franklin Badge Despite it being really good, you may drop it if you constantly get hit by other attacks, and the opponents can take it for themselves. This is also true for the Screw Attack, but not many really care about that one.

Alpharad: That bumper is mine and i can’t even grab ledge! “Proceeds to grab ledge” Alpharad: cut that out

I'm surprised he forgot to mention a few things about certain items. I'll start from the low tier to the highest: Cuccoo: If a stage hazard hits it or a neutral item does, the cuccoo doesn't have a specific target--it goes for everyone, and it causes absolute chaos. Which makes it even more volatile and interesting game play because once it hits the stage, everyone is at risk. Bomber: the strongest bomb in the game, but the further away you are from it, the less damage it deals and the less knock back it has. In a 1-v-1, it's a weak item. But in a free-for-all or team, this thing is terrifying with the combo game or if someone even stops paying attention for even half a second, they're in for a world of pain--IF they survive. Firebar rod: Actually, the opposite happens--the more you use it, the *shorter* it gets, but it's at its strongest at the base of the bar. But because it's so hard to hit anything once it's down to 1 fire ball, it's better off as a projectile than a battering item. Hothead: they actually buffed this item and I'm so glad they did--in Brawl, you could attack it to make it bigger, sure, but the bigger it was, the shorter its lifespan became. So it wasn't that good of an item. But now, its duration is not affected by size, which makes it s much better for stage control and mind games. Lightning: Forgot to mention that there's a chance that it will actually cause the person who touched it to shrink instead of their foes. Not only that, but they added something new--there's also a freak chance that it'll cause everyone else to get BIGGER! Those two are slimmer than it's main attraction, with the latter being even rarer, but it's a risky item to really change up the battle. Hammer: this is the biggest surprise that I'm shocked he forgot to mention (even though pretty much everyone who has played smash knows this). In the first Super Smash Bros. for the N64, the hammer was one of the scariest items, as it was not only practically invincibility, but hit like a truck and the only hope you had was to shield and doge it like it's the plague, or hope they get too greedy and accidentally fall of the stage (or bomb them...that works too). But introduced in Melee and beyond, there's a chance that the had will fall off. The worst thing is now you're stuck swinging a stick and you can't get rid of it--and the head hits harder off the stick. bomb-omb: I wouldn't have placed it as high on the tier list--maybe an B+ or a solid A. It's a classic since first smash, and does what it is: blows shit up indiscriminately. Granted, throwing down without fear of injury is a huge game changer...but that's only if you throw it at your feet. It you toss and hit something but you're within the vicinity of the blast, you'll still be hurt. not to mention it'll start moving on its own after a set time and then that's when shit gets scary--especially if you get a party ball that just unloads them onto you as you see a fireball or any projectile in general heading your way. Special flag: I'm surprised this isn't a higher tier because of how hard you can play the bait game with it.

You can't not have a full casual mode Tier List. As in, characters ranked by how well they can -ab- use items, how good their FS is, how well they work for FFAs, and if they can effectively deal with jank stages.

My best FFA character is Bowser by far, but hey. I used to main him. The thing is though, I got into maining him at the time because I played FFA. Heavies just have a good time in FFA. They can throw out huge hit boxes with a lot of priority that do a lot of damage and knock back. Sure a lot of them have trouble comboing... but it's a FFA. Who TF is gonna let you combo anyways?

Nice combo at the end and I appreciate your thoughts about the items I love you videos and I hope you could make more videos about smash bros but also make sure to take care of yourself too.

That’s...not even the rocket belt’s intended use. It pretty much gives you practically infinite double jumps with the added bonus of it flying up and blowing up an opponent above you when it’s out of fuel. Like, it’s literally a jet pack, that’s really useful for characters with crap recovery.

I must say that both the Cucco and the Bees are really great items. Does continuous damage to your opponent and interupts their attacks, gives you stage control, and may force them to dodge setting them up for a free hit from a thrown item, projectile or sometimes just a smash attack

This video seemed a bit rushed? or less work? Idk, you ranked them way differently than the other things. The Final Smash, Pokemon, and Assist Trophy tier list were ranked on usefulness, these seem to be ranked on fun, or just opinion? the cucco and beehive are way more useful than most of the items you listed lol

I mean, that’s kind of how items work. Final Smashes and Assist Trophies are in the game to help you damage or KO your opponent. Pokémon are in the game to disrupt your opponent. Items overall are in the game to be fun.

Lightning can make you small, or make everyone else HUGE. Bigger than a mushroom actually

A stage hazard tier list would be interesting. You could rank it in favorite to least favorite, or most fair to unfair or vice versa.

The POW Block in Smash Bros is really easy to avoid. You can either be in the air or activate your shield as soon as the POW hits. I even found a third escape from the POW Block. If you are under the effects of a Metal Box (can also be combined with a Super Mushroom) at low damage and a POW Block hits, you'll take damage, but you'll do a little hop and not really have to recover at all.

There are 10 Bosses in the game: Giga Bowser, Galeom, Rathaloss, Demon King Ganon, Dracula, Marx, Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Galeem and Dharkon. There's also Master & Crazy Duo and Galeem vs Dharkon duel. So how you suppose to RANK these battles IN TIER LIST?!

As a samus main i love screw attack, i understand it's tier here, but when you're playing as samus its amazing you can escort people way up with Jump screw attack, jump screw attack, screw attack and it kills pretty effectively And it's really hard to punish because.. it's just a jump, you can just jump again, dodge or attack if anybody tries to punish it -especially in combination with the bunny hood-

I knew almost nothing about these items Thank you for showing me how to use them

I don't really hate any item. Except Gustbellows.

22:02 or you can hold the jump button, you dont have to repeatedly tap the jump button, also the lightning bolt has a chance to shrink yourself as well, and the head of the normal hammer can fall off and be thrown once (or multiple times if you know how to pick it up before it despawns) edit: the time clock has the sane chance to sloe you down or in-game time (everyone) as the lightning bolt has to shrink you or everyone

You could've just had a separate ranking for healing items in this video based on how much they heal you and how they work to heal you

Just a quick note about the Assist Trophy item. If someone picks it up while in the air or gets hit before they can use it, the character will automatically keep trying to use it. They have to be on the ground to finally use it which locks available moves on the ground until it comes out. You can catch someone for some free damage by interrupting their use of it.

Please make a tier list about best characters for combos! I’d love to see how you rank how each character can combo and see how you combo with them.

a useful fact for the baseball: it can hit before teleporting (obviously) but if it hits directly before it teleports, it still teleports, which means that it can just hit twice with one throw

What I hate about the bees is that they disrupt what you do. I was hit multiple and couldn't hit back multiple times because the bees hurt my character during the animation of my attack, stunning my character and stopping the attack. It doesn't happen THAT often but bees shouldn't be F tier. Come on.

Unlike Cucco, you don't even need the hive to hit them. You can just throw it at the ground and the bees will still chase the opponent.

Ramblin mushroom sucks because it's hard to tell when your controls reverse so you'll be trying to recover and before you realise you've killed yourself

One thing about super mushroom. It can be slightly detrimental if you are playing against a rushdown character or a heavy combo character. Just because of the hurtbox size increasing. If it was normal size it would be even better lol. Still a great item

I'd put POW Block a bit higher actually, because not only does it give great stage control in free-for-alls, but it also spikes if you throw it directly at another person like Pitfall seed does. This makes it a nice kill item as well. Also, I'd like to see a tier list on countering, reflecting, and absorbing moves.

I think POW Block only spikes at higher percents. at lower percents the throw item still sends them upward.

@@DarthTalon5 Oh, I didn't know that. Still, the ability to spike is really good, and people get to higher percents fairly quickly in matches with items

The beam sword also looks like it has a sweet spot, right next to the tip. Also a cheesy way to win a bunch of battles in world of light with the drill is to just fire the drill and snipe the fighter to confirm the kill. Very cheesy, but very funny. It is a 0 to death if you get a good snipe.

Something funny to try out with the soccer ball is going on the mute city stage with only these things on.

@@brendanmetivier511 it means "god in the machine" and can refer to something good happening to a fictional character for nothing other than plot convenience, (see; Batman's utility belt) or otherwise twisting the normal string of Fate

Some things to note: Warpstar - The time you spend airborne can be adjusted with up or down, allowing you to be somewhat unpredictable with it by coming down sooner or later than the opponent expects Death's Scythe - It does the OHKO at 70% minimum, albeit only at full Smash charge. The higher the opponent's damage, the less time you have to charge your FSmash for the OHKO Fire Bar - I thought it was the opposite? In that the more you use it, the stronger it gets but it loses range. Although according to the Smash Wiki, it's basically Roy's sword, the closer the opponent is to the hilt, the more it hurts. Boss Galaga and Beetle - Fun fact: These two will _only_ Star KO or Screen KO, respectively. Granted some stages seem to prevent BG from Star KO'ing, not sure why, and Screen KO'ing just doesn't seem to happen at all in training Timer - I ain't got anything to say other than the sound's cool as hell

This video made me want more to see an items competitive smash, yes to see who is really better in the game there can't be random things like that but there can be cool plays if both players know how to use and combo with items, but of course some would be banned.

Forgot to mention that home run bat can reflect projectiles on start up. And if someone is next to you, shoots a projectile while you are charging the home run bat, and reflect it, the home run bat hitbox is still a one hit KO

Fun fact: beastball has two hits, the throw has a hitbox, and the hit after the tp which puts them in hit stun long enough for you to hit a fast move that could lead to kills
