The question that will haunt me for the rest of my life "Why did he not just kill the piglin". The analysis was pretty spot on, 4hrs of sleep and the situation slowly turned on me. Panic did me in. Still sad. Also I love how much better Skizz's reaction was right after mine.... after losing a 2 day world :')

The fact that Scar’s face plant into the ground after stealing Grian’s helmet after having been absent from the server for two weeks didn’t make it is a TRAVESTY. Plus I’m pretty sure he took the helmet to the grave with him 😂

Philza just celebrated the 5 year anniversary of his new hardcore world so he's done it twice now! Let's see if this one can outlast the previous one (that was about 5 years and a month so he has to survive another month to break his record)

I think the thing about Joel's Hardcore failure is there is a slight difference from what happened to you in SOS. You were just blown up by the Creeper. In Joel's case the Creeper also ignited the TNT trap in the temple and that is what got him. The game treated it as a Creeper kill because it remembered the Creeper detonated the TNT

I died one time in a somewhat similar way, though it wasn't a creeper it was a long forgotten pet cat that I thought I lost, it TP'd just below me on the pressure plate. I don't remember what the death message said.

This is why the first thing you should do as soon as you drop down that hole is knock out that pressure plate and dig up the TNT. Everyone knows this. He was a silly man!

I love that Google thinks this is in another language, and "translates" the entire thing by adding one extra 'a' to the last scream. Thanks, Google. Everyone knows it doesn't count as English until you hit than 17th 'a'. Anything less is unintelligible foreign gibberish!

Oh, ouch. Those are some painful ones! I'd have put Skizz's in "you so silly," but I can see "iconic" because it really does make an impression.

Wow seeing Joels old clip from when I started watching him, gave me an answer why I love watching him and now not at all. His voice is so peaceful there. Now it's high stress/high energy and I can't relax watching the video.

Your deaths will always be #1 in my heart, Jimmy. Skizz's death was the funniest in this list. Iconic is 100% where it belongs. Great video, second favorite of mine next to your 700 subscriber special.

If Skizz got a unique death message, like "He experienced gravity while trying to escape an Enderman." I'd for sure put it in iconic, but he just got the generic "fell from a high place". It lessons the impact of the death.

I think Joel's should've been wow. Because not only did the creeper blow up, because Joel hit it away, it stepped on the pressure plate and the tnt also blew up. There was no escaping that death.

There was a guy I watched play hardcore Minecraft on Twitch but he didn't just play hardcore. He played half hearted hardcore where you have literally one hit point. He had survived for hundreds of hours and it was really impressive. Then he lost his world, not because he died in game, but because his hard drive died and he didn't have a back up. It was really painful.

You should do hardcore close calls ranking video! Because I know sandiction was a millisecond away from losing his hardcore world and I know wunba probably has some very close calls

There’s a guy called Buttons on Twitch who lost his long term hardcore world semi-recently by jumping off a very tall platform to chase an egg he’d just thrown in some game with chat without thinking, tried to swoop up close to the ground but hadn’t deployed his elytra, went splat moments later. That was a You So Silly

I got jumpscared by Dan and Sandiction ngl, most of my brain was expecting another friend-specific tier list and it caught me off guard lol

Ok I have one problem w/ this list and its for personal reasons only. The first time I opened youtube as a youngin was during the beginning of the pandemic, and the FIRST ever video that I watched, was Joels 24 hour in hardcore challenge, and thats why for me its 100% iconic. The nostalgia is to good!

What's crazy is that that's Phil's only legit hardcore death cause his first one was the computer dying, not him dying. He couldn't recover the hard drive at the time because it was too expensive. The second was this, the third was a glitch where he fell out of the world, and the fourth world just hit 5 years this week. We got the immortal crow, a canary in the coal mine, and a pesky bird. I would petition a hardcore world with you three but I think not swearing around Grian would kill Phil first.

This is good timing, because Phil hit the 5 year anniversary of his current hardcore world recently.
