Hazy Little Thing is our go-to IPA! They make great beers for sure

Nate is the consummate diplomat. Even when he doesn’t particularly like something, he doesn’t bang it and finds something positive to say. You’re a credit to the craft.

Been begging them to do a Kona Brew tasting

I used to drink so much Summerfest every year. Absolutely loved that beer. Haven't had it in years, but need to grab some again! I've found SN takes a backseat because it's been around so long and I forget about it. But then I'll randomly grab some off the shelf and instantly realize why they're still around and were so instrumental in the craft movement.

I have some Summerfest in the fridge. Unlike some other seasonals SN continues to produce Summerfest several months into this run. The summer ale that I always look forward to is Deschutes Twilight which is a really easy drinking ale and reminds me of summer trips to Bend, Oregon.

I love this channel. We moved away from Massachusetts a few years ago and treehouse was one of our favorite spots. It’s like a mini trip back home watching these videos.

Summerfest is one of my annual favorites, as is their Celebration Ale.Too bad with Harpoon, they make a great "old school" IPA. These vids are always fun!

Nate the Great! I'm a west coast guy and don't live too far away from Chico. Summerfest is also my favorite! Prost!

The hoppiest wins. What a shocker. I know summer ale isn't a style, but do we always have to interprate based on IPA? I would like to see a blind comparison of summer beers that included light pilsner and also a non-craft like Coors Light. CL is specifically designed to be a summer drinking beer, so it would be interesting to see how it compares to craft beers attempting to do the same thing.

Thanks for all the great content! Question: For 1st-time Treehouse patrons, what are your top 3 draft pour choices? Julius is mandatory for me, but what’s two other great Treehouse beers you’d pick? PS. Aside from IPA, I love Lagers and Belgian styles 🍻

I don’t even buy beer anymore , brew my own …. But my favorites are , green cheek , monkish , casa agria , Pliny , Oscar blues , two hearted , oh and dinner and lunch . Yeah !!

I know it wasn't part of the lineup but Allagash Surf House deserves an honorable mention. Nice little lager. Also, totally agree with the distaste for SA Summer Ale. They have really destroyed that beer over the years with the lemon; I remember it being a lot more subtle.

Since it is summer I want to see Nate do a tasting of Radlers! In particular, Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. I think that would be an interesting reaction!

It had been a while but I had a Sam Summer recently and I thought they gave us Porch Rocker instead at first. Seemed way more lemony than I remembered Sam Summer being.

Would any of these be affected by not pouring the entire beer in the glass? Like the sediment some beers have at the bottom? (I do not claim to know much about this stuff, by the way)

Hey man, how do you feel about ciders? I love beer but both of my brothers are celiac so as they got to the drinking age my family slowly morphed from a beer family to a cider family and I was wondering your takes because you clearly have a great pallet. Guess it helps we're in the PNW where everyone and their grandma makes a killer cider; I dunno how it looks out in Massachusetts for cidere

Umm... Surfcaster, Seaside Pils, Little Ripper, and the whole Trail series are a small list of delicious beers for the beach!

I LOVED Summerfest last year but have not seen it yet in my area this year. That said, I had the Sam Adam’s on tap about three weeks ago and found it absolutely disgusting. The others I have not had.

I have to agree with the assessment of the Sam Adams. I enjoyed the winter ale and thought the summer ale would be great but was slapped with a fake lemon flavor that just wasn’t good.

Man big L for Sam Summer . Wracking my brain, I feel like they changed the recipe 10 or so years ago and it just never quite tasted right. Totally different. Lost a lot of drinkers.

SA Summer ale is just nasty with all that lemon flavor. I can’t believe they are still making/selling this beer
