Ranking everything I knitted in 2022 | a year of seasonal knitting

You can over dye your cumulus tee with food coloring and vinegar (acid dye) since silk is an animal fiber. Love your podcast. I live in MN too and actually love the snow even though I grew up in the south. ❤

I really like your personality. You seem honest and real. Thanks for giving us all your thoughts on these patterns and yarn. More, please. PS: I don’t knit with mohair because it’s impossible to un-knit. And I always have to un-knit. You made a lot of stuff. You created the tiers, which means you can put anything you want in them. You must keep posting. ❤

A really enjoyable video! You can tie your mini Sophie Scarf to your raffia bag handle. Very bougie picnic vibe 😄

Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video. Hearing other knitters talking about not just the process of knitting certain patterns or with certain yarns but also about the realistic use for them is extremely helpful in my opinion. Most knits look awesome in instagram pictures, but are too thin or thick for actual practical use. Thanks again for sharing your experiences :D !

Love your sense of humor and editing😂 Also really agree with your little message to be kind to ourself, it’s very easy to be way to harsh when you get vids with «my 20++ sweaters I made this year». So thanks for this, you got a lot of lovely knitting done for sure❤

This video won you an instant sub from me because your humor is *chef’s kiss*. My only complaint is that this video was way too short. 😂Your pieces are beautiful! Keep up the excellent work! PS. You also sold me on Petite Knit’s V-Neck Sweater. I’ve been eyeing it for a little while now, and you made me decide to go for it!

Yes, the slanty knit of your June top looks like you have used what’s called an unbalanced yarn. It means that it wasn’t spun correctly and has either too much or not enough twist put into it. Did you find that it twizzled up on you as it came off the ball? If so, it’s definitely unbalanced. It is possible to balance an unbalanced yarn using a drop spindle, either by taking out or putting in more twist or by spinning it together with a balanced ply. Loved your video by the way! Came to see the knitting, subscribed to see more of you x

Also don’t be discouraged, i had two pairs of hats, 1 sweater and 1 pair of socks lol. I only get 1 hr a day to knit, if that too.. as long as you are enjoying what you are doing, the quantity doesn’t matter.

Good for you! I’d like for you to put the names of the knits and the designer on the screen. My pea brain can’t remember for more than 1 second. I noticed that you biggest objection to your knits is the quality of yarn that you used. Maybe that’s a change you can make.
