If you pay attention, there’s a lot to latch onto with Giorno, but because he deliberately holds himself back, you have to watch closely to catch what he lets slip.

It was explicitly said that Green Day's range is technically infinite as long as there are more people because it starts from small range but each infected body functions as a new mold source with its own range. However, the mold doesn't attack you as long as you're standing in place or moving up and Polpo is pretty immobile so it wouldn't touch him for the most part.

@@GM_Neo that's one of the things you've got suspension of disbelief for. Obviously, time and space manipulations usually don't make sense on the scale of the whole universe but their mechanisms are more based on the subjective perception of a stand owner.

It's pretty cool Melone and Ghiaccio are getting their own spin-off manga in the JoJo magazine. The iconic "computer geek exterminator of Karens" and "nerd too angry about everything" duo deserve much more love

I don’t disagree with the rating for Black Sabbath, but I wanted to point out that the only reason Sabbath is compared to heart attack is because that’s the only automatic stand Koichi had seen. That means it is possible for it to be completely lower, Heart Attack was just the only reference Koichi had.

I missed the intro, so I don’t know if it’s combat only, but in terms of utility as a villain Black Sabbath is S. it’s why Passione is as powerful as it is. It can literally create an army of stand users.

They were comparing it to Heart Attack, but the reason Koichi compared it to Heart Attack is because Heart Attack is the only other Automatic stand Koichi had seen, therefore the only reference he could compare to.

Risotto was playing with Doppio during that entire fight. Realistically, he could've just used all of Doppio's iron in his body to make a single nail, use it to tear through his brain, and once its out Doppio will die shortly after if the brain cutting somehow doesn't work. But instead, he decided to torture him by pumping iron into his body and then making random objects.

I feel like we’re underrating Kraft Work solely based on matchups. If you look at the ability, Mista and projectile-based stands in general, are something that Kraft Work struggles against. But think of this: if you’re a punch ghost going against Kraft Work, what do you do after you punch with both hands? Genuinely. One punch? First hand locked. Second punch? Second hand lock. You lose. You can’t attack anymore.

There are a LOT of mirrors in everyday life. Any street you walk down has Dozens of cars, all with at least 3 mirrors attached. I think the fight location (13:45) was actively bad for him.

Few corrections on Manic Depression, 1: the user was at no point a vampire, the drug just puts him on par with that of a vampire, and he just wanted the stone mask to boost his power even further (but it was destroyed before he could get it), and 2: he doesnt fight Giorno (directly) because Giorno was planning on using the narcotics team to test Fugo.

With how rapid fire some of these stands came at the gang plus how experienced most of the users were, I think there is a genuine convo to be had on golden wind being the hardest part of jojo’s to survive if we take out the main villains.

Secco should be higher because the stand can also liquify people. The fact that he can ohko people mixed with his uncanny speed makes him absolutely cracked.

I feel like the user carried the stand more than the stand carrying the user. Like Sanctuary looked terrifying due to how strong and fast Secco’s body naturally is where he can keep up with Sticky Fingers and the fact that he was creative with his ability that he had Bruno on the ropes. Literally if Bruno wasn’t a zombie he would’ve lost.

Funny Valentine's D4C is implied to be the only stand that can dimension-hop, since Tusk had to imbue his actual body with the spin to make it travel through dimensions (plus he had to bring Heaven-ascension DIO to other dimensions since he couldn't do it himself but that's only semi-canon). Under the assumption that Man in the Mirror functions similarly to D4C since they behave similarly, then no, GER wouldn't proc in the Mirror World unless it is in the Mirror World. Same for Wonder of U, since Calamity is only a property of the alternate universe and not the Mirror World. Of course, this is all speculative, but I doubt either of them could affect the Mirror World.

I'm pretty sure Dio just used TWOH, especially since there was nothing between the Joestars, its just he became aware of other worlds after meeting Valentine. Also, MITW is not a full on "alternate world". The only reason it stops stands from coming into its domain is that its more of spiritually made pocket universe, and Calamity actually does seem to transcend dimension judging by statements in the Manga, With GER having complete control over souls as implied by Polnareff's statement, meaning the psychic mirror world isn't immune to its ability, especially since it seeming placed Diavolo in his own realm where he continually died.

Honestly, Man in the Mirror only looked beatable because Fugo was there, and Giorno could coach Fugo, and Abbacchio distracted Illuso for long enough for Purple Haze’s virus to spread. Illuso had all three dead to rights, and if he pulled both of Purple Haze’s hands Illuso won and the path to Diavolo is La Squadra Ezecuttione’s

2 things. 1. Man in the mirror. Even if it’s not optimal for him. He still has his realm and you’re forced to play at his speed/him having advantage unless you have something to force him to attack out of his realm/risk him self. 2. I never understood prep time cause wouldn’t both users get prep time due to the scenario of each group knowing the others are a threat besides gio’s passione group knowing theirs and *everyone* not knowing Dio’s power, and the drug group besides dio himself

37:45 I'm an undergraduate chemistry major and with the White Album vs Metallica bit I thought would Metallica really be able to take so much iron away from Ghiaccio? The reason I'm thinking this is because with Gently Weeps, Ghiaccio can decrease the temperature to -210 degrees Celsius/63.15 Kelvin (-210 + 273.15 {Kelvin conversion}). At that temperature, the solid iron would have, relative to outside of White Album's range, very little energy as White Album Gently Weeps is fairly close to 0 Kelvin. Also regarding the pressure, even though it's iron in a solid state, Gay-Lussac's Law states that pressure decreases as temperature decreases. Due to this pressure decrease the iron would be less dense, possibly making it harder for Metallica to properly make the iron into a solid state and then remove it from Ghiaccio's body. There is only about 3 grams of iron in males and about 2.3 grams in females. Using Gently Weeps does burn through Ghiaccio's stamina as he says, but with the temperature being that cold Metallica's ability would function one of two ways: 1. Regardless of the temperature and pressure around White Album Gently Weeps, the Stand is able to take iron from the body at the same rate he did for Doppio. 2. Due to the very low temperature around Ghiaccio, the iron would slowly leave his body, possibly allowing him to attack Risotto before to much iron leaves his body. So I'm wondering if White Album wins close range, mid range, and losses the far range battle. Sidething, iron is needed to act as an electron donor and acceptor in the body and is one of the few transition metals (for those who remember the periodic table the elements in the middle section in between Groups 1-2 and Groups 7-8) that does this.

Even if Ghiacco was using Gently Weeps, would he be able to see through Metallicas Translucent ability? Pretty sure that even if Ghiacco started to freeze the area, Risotto would be able to pull enough metal out of the area to make a defense that can pierce through Gently Weeps armor.

I think people are sleeping on Talking Head tbh. Sure, in a 1v1 situation, it's a loss. But as a support stand, it fucks up the "let's figure out what's happening" part of the fight so much it's insane. Take any final fight of any part, if the main baddy had Talking Head as an assist they would have won before the group even figures out anything. That stand took Clash, who had 0 chance alone against a group (any attack against him and it's over, he had to have TH + an hostage just for survivability) to a pretty close fight. The main weakness of the stand is that you need to cut off the tongue of the target first, and the enemies need to be a group. If you judge MitM by him having mirrors or Babyface by having the target blood, I don't think it's unfair to judge TH as a support stand

That Black Sabbath starter was insane. I too love that stsnd and would've loved to know truely how inescapeable that stand would've been at night. Personally out of part 5, I'd have put it in either low S tier (S-) or high A tier (A+). Def one of my favs in terms of themes, power and design.

Think about it:krawtwork can: -freeze rocks to escale -do the bullet thingy tie you up with a rope and freeze it. unless you cam shink o desintegrate. theres no way you re getting out. -hypotethically stop your heart - if you carry a weapon he could freeze it unabling you to uae it. -could thoretically step on a landine and freeze it making some sot of killer queen.

Not sure if I'm right on Grateful Dead, but it is stated that he intentionally set a target for how fast it affects certain temperatures to avoid aging Trish too much, right? With that at mind it could probably age people faster at range than what it's shown

this really good but i would say a few things like. that it could be very easy for formagio to because he could cut you at a small size and you could easily confuse it as a bug bit, or he could cut you then become smaller then the eye can see. man in the mirror is really weird because there are stands like the world lets say that even if you can't use the world you can still stop time or like the world could just pick up a rock and beat up illuso, but at he same time if he wasn't trying to question brunos group he could just decapitate all of them. manic depressions user didn't turn himself into a vampire but he could go in a state as strong as vampire but could only be in that state for a little bit so he needed the stone mask so he would just die after 3 minutes of being in that state. people forget that at close ranges secco can just liquify people, like we saw him do it with bruno and doppio. polpo can use his stand at close and far ranges because right when was about to die he pulled out black sabbath so you don't even need lighter. as meti said if clash grabs you and teleports you into a water source smaller then your body then lets go of you and teleports away, your screwed. lastly i will stick with this till the day i die if you see time stop as you moving really fast as implied with kira, pucci, and tuck act 4 notorious B.I.G. could just move in stop time. edit i forgot to mention if you feel like that you are losing against rainy day dream away he can lock you in the feeling that you are losing and you basically fucked

one thing that is overlooked about Giacchio is that this mother fucker, was GAINING ON A CAR, using nothing but pure LEGS. remember, his stand is basically just OP cryokinesis, the suit is something he makes. so he's just casually able to do this. also, remember he was denting and breaking the inside of the car he was in and wasn't even fazed, no bleeding, NOTHING. and catching up to mista even though he was quite a bit away in a large body of water. he's one of if not THE physically strongest humans in the jojoverse

Also, Hol Horse is the Walmart version. Mista can succesfully redirect his bullets anywhere. All Hol Horse did was incapacitate Avdol, and crash a car of the Stardust Crusaders. When Mista uses his bullets, he eventually kills, or does whatever he wants his bullets to do.

Amazing detail and analysis! The only thing I would disagree with though is I think Cioccolata's stand should be below Polpo. Cioccolata's stand's range is actually insane, but... Polpo is a locked up guy who never moves. Thus he can't go to a lower location.

My personal rating for Bruno's group/ la squarda stands assuming little to no prep time (not counting GER) is Baby face < moody blues ≤ man in the mirror < little feet < spice girl < sex pistols < Beach boy < Sticky Fingers < Gold experience < Aerosmith < Grateful dead ≤ Purple Haze < White album ≤ Metallica, Metallica has way more range then a whole lot of this list plus invisibility don't know if it can out range White album's freezing but if it can then it could just bypass the ice armor.
