Return of the Jedi and Revenge Of The Sith's endings are almost tied to me, but Return Of The Jedi's is just sooooo heartwarming and happy! The first time, these characters felt real happiness after the time of the Empire, especially for Luke, as he was able to redeem his father, the chosen one. You can see the joy in all the actors' eyes, and it's the perfect end for the Star Wars trilogy as Anakin, the chosen one, brought balance as Qui Gon always and his mother always knew he would! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

It would’ve been interesting if they could’ve added Qui Gon into that scene as a force ghost or a voice or something. I know the originals came long before the prequels, but knowing how important Qui Gon was I just feel like he should’ve been a part of that scene

Solid list, however I think you are missing something huge about ending of The Phantom Menace: The parade at the end of The Phantom Menace is a facade, as symbolized by the parade music actually being the emperor's throne room music just sped up in a different key. The parade, just like the music, appears joyful but conceals that The Sith won and no one besides Palpatine realizes it (hence why the movie is called The Phantom Menace). Additionally, Palpatine's rise to Supreme Chancellor occurs when Anakin has become vulnerable without Qui-Gon's protection (hence why "Duel of the Fates" is actually about the fate of Anakin). By the end of TPM the groundwork is set for Palpatine's ascent to power and Anakin's eventual fall, yet this truth remains obscured by the facade of the joyous parade, much like the sinister undertones hidden within the sped-up and transposed music.

RETURN OF THE JEDI IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE ENDING TO ANY STAR WARS MOVIE AND THE PERFECT CONCLUSION TO THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

I LOVE the AOTC conclusion. The Republic army montage is sick, the marriage is so dark yet wholesome, Yoda made a fire quote, Sidious’s plan has finally fallen into place, and John Williams was going crazy with that music (my personal favorite SW score is AOTC’s). In general a quite emotional ending for me in an extremely underrated movie.

I just love this series!

Rogue One and Return are my favorite endings of all time.

My ONLY 'issue' with the ending of "Rogue One" is, theoretically Vader would have used the same 'aggression' for the beginning of "A New Hope"

that's true, I guess Obi-Wan gets a pass given that he was the catalyst for helping Luke in redeeming Anakin. Mainly I just was trying to focus on the collective negative connotations that Tatooine would've had for both Anakin and Luke. Sure, it's their home, but ultimately its just a starting place for their adventures. Both had a lot of negative experiences on Tatooine. There's just no reason for either Anakin or Luke to want Rey to go back their to "wrap things up" as it appears in the movie.

I polled some people on reddit before creating this list. The majority had TLJ as #1, if not that then at least top 3. The reasoning as to why is pretty compelling in my opinion. Empire is a great ending but there's too much competition

Phntom menace is very very underrated if you put jar jar bings a side this film shows corruption on jedi order and how they are blinded. Moreover for me the best and greatest two jedis of those series are in this film. Qui gon and obi wan. Comparing last 3 sequels which shouldbe removed from canon in my opinion this is totally unfair
