31:15 I know, right? I love how (unlike X7), they kept up with the trend of Sigma kinda slowly getting worse, while ALSO making him look badass. In X3 he achieved his ultimate battle body, in X4 he uses multiple battle bodies, in X5 he uses an unfinished final body, in X6 he's literally framed like a corpse, and in X8 he can barely hold himself together. But he looks so fucking raw at the same time.

At first I was like "huh, the way he talks about some of these sigmas kinda reminds me of him a bit but maybe that's just how a lot of older veteran megaman x players talked about bosses online" and then in the X5 bit he played the same exact song as when hide fought Sigma there, I knew he had to be inspired by him at some point

I love X4 Sigma, he constantly keeps you on your toes & is very aggressive. My least favorite is X5 Sigma, mainly because his body was built by Dr. WILY HIMSELF, I was expecting an insanely difficult challenge, instead we get moving hands & a static background that you barely interact with. Doesn’t even show his full body.

12:33 Lol, it's true. Though, on one hand, I have a hard time blaming mega man fans for this one. On the other hand, it's not Kaiser-Sigma being a tough boss or anything, it's just damage tables in X3 being so absurdly fucked. They made everything in the game do dummy amounts of damage because they have to justify why you'd choose the armor chip at the same time as the damage reducing armor. So against enemies like bosses, it feels like you need the standard armor to take the same amount of hits you'd be able to take in X1 and X2, let ALONE any of the classic games. Kaiser-Sigma's basically just playtested with the player having the armor chip or gold chip. And instead of having a hard to dodge pattern, they wanted to challenge players with the 75% damage reduction by making it so he kills you in two hits with no damage reduction. Like the devs straight up said "fuck you!" to anybody playing the game blind who didn't have the upgrades. On top of that, they locked literally every upgrade in the game behind one stupid fucking jump in the corner of the ice stage, and called it a day. In X2 you could explore the whole game to find the upgrades from the get go, and in X1 all you have to do is go halfway through the ice stage. In X1 the game progresses like a brief, explorative jaunt of exploring how it's like with no upgrades before stumbling upon the capsule naturally. Meanwhile if you play X3 and you decide that the stupid ice physics jump might be something you'll want to handle later, then congrats, you're now playing a megaman X game with the progression of a classic megaman. Except unlike classic megaman, you die in two fucking hits, and the boss patterns were made to challenge people who have more than two hits. Not fun. It's doable if you're experienced, but that's asking that you know the game's boss patterns ahead of time. And I normally love no-upgrade, buster-only challenges, but only if I've already played the game or if the game is balanced enough for me to still have fun like that blind. X3 is not. If you don't know the boss patterns, and decide to do that stupid jump later, you'll be replaying the stages a LOT... I'm convinced every X3 fan either played it with a walkthrough, or they played it as a kid and forgot what the blind playthrough is like.

There's tech with charged Twin Cyclone to destroy the coloured head right above Sigma himself, which will let you dodge for free. This is completely useless to you but I felt like mentioning it.

I was primarily talking about the main versions of Sigma in each game. Copy Sigma would probably rank fairly low on my list though.

x5 sigma is pretty easy even on xtreme

@@NothingnessforZ first of all megaman is a kids series and second there should be a disclaimer that says language on it not everyone wants to here someone cuss. because megaman is a kids series some kids or young teen could hear one of those cuss words here on youtube. there needs to be a disclaimer that says warning language in the video you have been warned.
