@@JayUpSix Shaq was a 4 time all-star and didn't make the NBA 1st team all nba after the top 50 NBA players of all time came out. I don't see why a 3time all NBA player (more then some all time 75 players) couldn't make it

I dont think you should go off of HoF and resume entirely. You have to think also about how happy the teams are with the value of the pick at 3, as well as projecting a bit. Makes sense to say its too early for Mobley, but Luka and Tatum are S. Even if they both only played 2 more seasons the Mavs and Celtics would still make that pick in hindsight 10/10 times.

Multiple all star games. He averages the most points in the playoffs just behind MJ. If they are calling Embiid a HOF a mf who has not even made a conference finals and not a single first team all NBA, then Luka is a lock for the HOF

Good list but there is no way Horford doesn’t deserve at least A tier. Dude has started in 150 playoff games, more than Melo, Gasol AND Harden. He pretty much carrried all Hawks playoff apperances with Joe and Millsap later on Also Luka 100% makes the HoF today (ignoring the 400 games threshold) so he should be S tier even without projecting

Luka at A tier is crazy. If we talking about basketball hall of fame and not nba hall of fame, not only does he have an nba rookie of the year, 3x all star and 3x all nba first team, you forgot about his 2x Euroleague Rising star, all Euroleague first team, Euroleague title, Euroleague MVP, Euroleague final 4 MVP, and Eurobasket title.

If Embiid is on the S tier then so is Luka. His level of play the last three seasons is so high that idc about embiid doing it for an extra year or two

I would have put Horford higher, I think objectively he has had a better career than Tatum at this point in time. Especially when you consider his NCAA accomplishments. I think Tatum definitely projects to be a better player than Horford, but right now I think Horford is at least A tier. Also, no way Embiid gets in the hall right now. These are just my opinions

Brad and Deron got to be the same tier Deron has more all NBA appearances and made the playoffs 9 times to Beals 5. Deron also actually got his team to the playoffs as the best player on the team, while the argument can be made that Beal was never the best on his team. (clearly Wall was the better of the two and Russ has an argument especially considering the efficiency he had at the end of the season)

Kanter is 100% D tier. If you draft a guy at #2, you’re expecting an above average starter at LEAST. Kanter barely started 1/3 of the games he played in his whole career. OJ Mayo is D too. Peaked as a rookie and wasn’t even good before the drug suspension. Kenny got those rose colored glasses for the late 00s.

Hard to compare purely on the now resume, given how some still need to enter their prime and others are barely in the league for a couple of seasons. That being said, given his pre-NBA career (and the HoF acknowledges college/EuroLeague as legitimate competitions) and his present NBA career, Luka is already a HoF'er.

Considering the basketball hall of fame includes leagues outside the NBA, such as college, I'm guessing that plays a role in Tyus Jones' hall of fame probability being higher than Marcus Smart. I could be wrong though.

Beal had an argument in 2020. He averaged 31,4,4 on damn near 50% shooting splits. His stats in 2019 are almost identical. The only SG you could put over him was Harden
