I think the reason Beedrill and Pidgeot are ranked high because you can work on your mega evolution medal really easily for really low mega energy.

Yeah I have been mega evolving beedrill twice a day for months now, still have like 1000 mega energy from spinning gyms.

Your first list is super accurate, they are the most useful and they best typings for getting their XLs. Another thing to touch on is the reduced energy required for certain mons to evolve them, for example mega houndoom is a cheaper evolve than absol

Nice breakdown. mega beedrill is good against tapu bulu while mega pidgeot is insane against virizion due to double weaknesses. But yeah those bosses are not the most desired ones.

When the green screen comes out, you know production value is gonna be pushed to the MAX

would be nice with a list of mega evolves that you should focus so you got all the different types of mon's covered for events. some of them are single type and some of them are dual, some kind of diagram that shows what is needed to get all bases covered.

This would be really interesting updated to this day tbh, many meta relevant megas came to the game like tyranitar, diancie and the hoenn starters. Primals are absolutely ridiculous as well and mega rayquaza has the highest dps in the game

I'd rank mega pidgeot higher just because it boosts rayquazas and also beedrill has always been a feww mega.

Should be an S tier

Beedrill is useful because its on of the cheapest mega evolutions and is useful in raids especially fairy type raids plus it helps you get the successor medal.

Mega Ampharos and Mega Altaria are actually quite good because even though they have less damage than other megas they are bulkier, which means they will give the damage boost for longer.

My first shiny I ever caught was a 91% shiny Mareep. I love my shiny ampharos 🤣🤣🤣 but I’ll agree he isn’t very useful in most situations lol

Imo I would have ranked the poison types slightly higher seeing the amount of fairy type legendary boss there have been in the past year. However I feel like they lack the supporting cast to buff, Soo I feel it.

I do power up flying type legendaries.... Rayquaza, ho-oh, motres, yveltal, landorus, etc... Btw, just realized that aerodactyl is very useful because you can use it in flying type raids while boosting the candy at the same time!

Love the list.

I would love to see a 2023 version of this considering how many new Megas we have now, This was pretty useful though

Well chansey and blissey is the top pokemon to put in gyms, and if you evolve Mega kangaskhan you will gain more candy and XL candy for those :)

As said in the video, you get more candies when catching Pokémons of their corresponding type. You can fight gyms with them, Fighting type is best for gyms, but I don't like mega Lopunny, but mega Lucario will be 🔥

14:29 Aron is great for raids/PvP? Please don't give people ideas. Don't use aggron in raids! Also, mega altaria boosts the candies and XLs for charmers. Togekiss, clefable, jigglypuff, cottonnee and the tapus are so good in PvP. I guess for all the people hoping for Niantic to nerf charm should see this video.

I beg to differ I beileve mega amphoros ranks higher than Mega magnetic, it has better bulk so it would have a high TDO and dual dragon typing with a diverse movepool that includes power gem for coverage

question if I mega evolve my gengar and i wait for 7 days and it turns to 0 I can do it for free , but when 8 hours runs out i have to wait until 7 days mega evolve again for free
