tbf on the arc it deosnt really matter cause it looks more like a blueish white similar to the light blue on his torso. there is a huuge difference to him and fox

The classic Revenge of the Sith clone pilots are actually somewhat based on concept art for V Wing Pilots that ended up never being used for episode 3. The Idea was that V Wings don't have life support systems much like TIE Fighters so these type of clone pilots would have required Fully Compresed and facecovered pilot helmets much like your standard TIE pilot helmet. The 2014 V Wing and even the 2010 Palpatine's Shuttle sets have the same type of clone pilot design that the original minifigure was meant to be based on, albeit executed much better since they use the proper revenge of the sith clone pilot helmet design.

I think You should be more consistent with your Ranking. I get it that 40+ clones are all 8/10 and higher. But putting Phase 1 Fox below standard Phase 2 clone & 501st specialist (just because of the binoculars and not even mentioning the Clone print itself) doesn't make any sense to me. I own Fox since i was a kid and Yeah maybe it's nostalgia bias but i'm trying to see it from another perspective. I know it's subjective But you talk about What does look good and accuracy. Fox is better looking than P1 Cody, OG P2 plain & 501st specialist in every way except leg printing

22:04. No hate intended but why do you complain about stuff not being accurate when the 2008 Rex and the 2013 Rex aren’t even accurate. The 08 Rex should have a range finder but doesn’t and the 13 one should also have a range finder but doesn’t. The printing on both figures is great but shouldn’t you judge those two figures the same as you would p2 fox? I mean both are technically inaccurate. Just some food for thought 🤷 Edit: I just got farther into the video and you did touch on the 2013 Rex a little bit. The point still stands though.

I've spent two months giving half-glances at my LEGO clones, not really understanding the helmet holes debacle. I have a mix of those with and without the helmet holes, so I guess I've just been glancing at the ones that don't have helmet holes. But now I see.

I certainly disagree with some things on your list but we can absolutely agree on commander fox being the worst, and the arc trooper being the best

Been binging these videos for nostalgia and each time I’m reminded of when I lost my commander ponds figure. Gone but never forgotten.

If ANYTHING, the 212th geonosis ariborne trooper deserves a top 10 spot, thats a W take having him at 11, not controversial at all imo. And anyone who thinks a trooper with fkn HIP printing doesnt deserve a top 15 spot is trippin.

Is it not obvious? They make the helmet look really fat and warp the printing. Also it makes the rangefinder comically high up on the helmet, even Lego thought they given they portrayed it in the right place on one of their boxes

Nah its valid to me at least. I personally prefer the more movie accurate look. I think clones would be perfect if it was 2014 helmet and torso with 2020 legs

the clone wars shocktrooper has the best visor placement, better than the p2 501st, better than the 212st, and way better than the p2 wolfpack. You didnt have the guts to do the right list, but its respectable. very good list. Horn trooper supremacy btw p1 gree sucks

Always found it strange that captain Jag has the exact same face printing as Zev Senesca.

So many Great memories of Playing with My Star Wars Lego, many Clone Troopers here that I had, I think Star Wars was so awesome to me compared to other better movies that i prefer such as The Dark Knight or Lord of the Rings, because it felt like there were neverending possibilities for my imagination as a kid. I think that is why The Clone Wars is the best Star Wars property because it went into a more granular exploration of a major war that happened between 2 movies.

I kinda prefer the OG phase 1 trooper to TCW and on. The visor just looks awesome, and I never cared for the face prints

Good list. My only major disagreement would be putting the 2020 501st trooper below the 2013 one. Sure the blue arms are a vibrant touch to the overall look but IMO the lack of a line above the visor just throws me off. I know it is accurate to the tv show but idk I can’t look past it.

Airborn troopers needed satchels like what Indiana Jones has instead of having them printed on in my opinion. I think I’d rather have an actual kama for Rex than the helmet accessories

I think the new Phase 2 clone helmet just doesn't look that great compared to the more movie accurate 2014 version. To me, the clones look way better in the films than in the show, and while I think mixing the 2 designs works in some cases, LEGO have kind of screwed it all up. The 212th troopers just look so weird compared to decade old versions. Damn... it has been a whole decade since LEGO made those designs. One change I do approve of is the fact that LEGO finally got the clone skin tone correct when for years they have just been using the 'standard' flesh tone, which, for obvious reasons, doesn't really fit the clones. I always found it weird that they gave pretty much every trooper the exact same face and it was pretty boring honestly, glad that they have changed that. I hope that at some point they make a new helmet for the Phase 1 clone pilot, because they have a slightly different helmet that regular Phase 1 troopers and I don't really see why it would be difficult for LEGO to do since all they'd need to do is take off the fin of the Phase 1 helmet.

Vaughn is so terrible that he couldnt even fit in the rank lol

I'll die on the hill that the 2013 P1 clones are infinitely better than the 2022 versions

I don’t have problem that P2 Clones that has helmet holes since 2022 because the ones I like is P2 Rex from the UCS Venator, Shock Troopers, P2 & regular plain P2 Clones that came out this year of 2024. People in the LEGO community needs to stop complaining about it, if you don’t like it, DON’T BUT IT since you’re gonna complain about it but other than that, just have fun with LEGOs that a lot of people like.

My biggest grievance with the Cody, Fox, and Vaughn figures is the lack of an accurate visor and the absence of the jet pack which really detracts from the accuracy of the figures. When I first saw Vaughn in 332nd battle back I didn’t realize it was Vaughn until I read the box art. Not to hate on Lego but we all know they are more than capable of adding these features to figures and the lack of them is frustrating since a lot of people have to look to customs to bring their figures up to standards.

I think the lack of physical jetpack is fine, given that they are significantly smaller than the standard used by Mandalorians and dedicated jetpack troopers. A backprint fits fine.
