I love the captures in this odyssey! I was so surprised when I first accidentally transformed into a pole x)) Also the forks are really cute to me, but my favourite capture is probably Gushen. Fun to play as and also adorable, especially when you run out of water on dry land; he's just a lil guy!

@@stixspeedruns Well, frogs aren’t fast or able to wall cling like Yoshi is, technically. (Not to dis, since I think the frog is better than Bowser)

Gushen has always been my favorite, I have so much fun moving around Seaside with him trying to see how high/far I can get him without filling up on water!

Bruh, My favorite character of Nintendo and of (maybe) all games is Yoshi. I love it. I ALWAYS choose him when I play some marioparty mini games, mariokart tracks, smash fights and even in the New Super Mario Bros. series I try my best for not to sacrifice him. I’m thinking about making a level in Super Mario Maker 2 where to win, you don’t have to kill Yoshi. But anyways, I was super surprise to see him in 1st place in this top 47 list. To be honest, I thought it was going to be Bowser, Pokio, the T-Rex, a Banzai Bill or anything else... except Yoshi ;P . Anyways, I’m just so glad that you putted Yoshi in 1st place but besides that, the video was awesome. Good job :)

Personally, I think the best capture in the game is Mario. That's right, I said it. He's used for pretty much the entirety of the game, and he has such a great range of jump-based movement, making him a piece of cake to traverse with. Not to mention, being the only one who can get himself de-captured simply by flinging Cappy away, that's gotta be quite a powerful move.

You know how tragic this capture is? The beings are being possessed by a demonish cap and are most likely not even conscious or are scared inside their body. And when Mario leaves, they sometimes dont even know where they are. ut maybe Cappy even controls Marios subconsciousness?

In a sequel to Odyssey, they NEED to make each capture have more in depth moves. This is why captures like Yoshi are so fun to control (granted, they do control similarly to Mario). With this added, it could open up so many possibilities for level design.

My favorite capture is the Bonzai Bill, its just so fun being a huge bullet that can crush anything in your path, Dino has to be 2ND PLACE though, because in a similar way, it can crush anything in your path, but as a bonus, it also lets you do this trick called *"DINO SKIP"* which is very useful in speedruns.

Idea: Hardest level from every super Mario game Maybe just the 2-D ones

This games first 48 hours were my favorite game experience ever. The big problems I have with this game is that one: the water level sucks, two: loads of moons are either bland or reused, and three, not enough moons are required to beat the game (this game is seriously one of the most souless Mario games if you just go from point a to point b; only collecting the easy throw away moons), and lastly; some levels got the short end of the stick (compare new donk to lake kingdom). This game deserves a sequel, since I think the exploratory nature, smooth controls, fun challenges, and crazy captures combined with even better level design, more unique moons, and better fleshed out world's, and this game could easily be a contender for a Bgoat.

Does anybody else think the Moe-Eye's abilty is strikingly similar to the Lens of Truth from OoT? The same goes for the Jizo-capture and the Armos (either enemy or object). Please also leave comments about other captures you think are pretty similar to items and such from other games.
