My favorite sideswipe is the g1, movie, tf prime concept art, rescue bots, universe, armada and lastly the bull version!

Sideswipe is the one character from the Bayverse who everyone likes, and wish he got more screentime.

Sideswipe in rotf was honestly a badass character,good thing that the bayverse didn't ruined him,sideswipe in rid 2015 was also cool and unique

Netflix WFC Sideswipe is quite good too.

A lot of choises are accurate and unique,a certified list as always ngl

I really hope you do his brother Sunstreaker next. The lambo twins are some of my personal favorites.

Sunstreaker, the Autobot so badass most of the other Autobots were unnerved by his cold-blooded nature. One of my favorite Transformers of all time, and I've been a fan since G1 :)

"The Bull is kind of odd." I thought that at first, too. It makes sense once you realize that Lamborghini's logo is that of a bull. When I remembered that I was like "Ooooh. I get it now!" T-Beast is fan art, though and I don't think the toy was made alongside the artist or anything. Though, that is how unlicensed Transformer toys go. I don't know if I've ever seen Emiliano Santalucia's art. I love it, it's a really nice blend of G1 and movie. I'd love a toy of it.

I'm just in love with Simon Wong's design, it mixes the best of both G1 and the bayverse so well.

The Sideswipe that showed up in the G2 colors from IDW is the second Sideswipe named after the one that died.

Sideswipe is one of the most unique autobots,he even suits my personality ngl,he's a good autobot for the toys especially siege,he's my fan favourite siege figure after mrgatron and barricade,jetfire and starscream and brunt,his armada design looks decent,too bad the armada toy is a shit

I remember seeing that episode of rescue bots and using it to connect it to the primeverse and legit believed that they were the same timeline

Because they are they are literally in the same universe the aligned continuity it's a bit disjointed but you should see G1 and I count Japanese G1 so it's incredibly disjointed the reason I do this is because I simply like a lot to watch Now what I don't count is the unicorn trilogy because the last part of that was not intended to be connected to the 1st 2 parts and I hear the 2nd part is kind of y😅

@@bilal_MH-907 in no way jetfire was ruined, hell he saved everyone by showing sam the location of the star harvester and giving upgrades to prime after sacr ficing himself, he turns to the autobots despite they are losing

Revenge of the fallen was my first introduction to Sideswipe and I’ve loved him ever since

My favorite is between the movie version and the aligned continuity design. I feel like the blades and wheels add to his rebellious personality.

I don't get why sunstreak wasn't in RID 2015? and why sideswipe never talked about his own twin?

G1 and its variants: Red, black and white are solid primary colors. It's why Sideswipe is so identifiable 40 years on. Strong color scheme. G2: Mixing it up by give black the top spot isn't a bad idea. But instead of giving red the highlight position, they went with neon green? Yep, definitely a 90's move. Nothing says "XTREME!!!" like riotous neon colors. Bayverse: This shows the gap between reality and good design work. Vehicle mode and bot mode are both above average. But because a realistic car could be one unbroken color like silver or black they rely on the metal origami to break up the silver. If Bay had been willing to think like an animator, Sideswipe would be silver bot #5 in the movie. Of the toy variants, I like the one with the black racing stripe. It did what I suggested here. Aligned: Solid red is only a slight improvement over solid silver. RID Sideswipe comes off as a kid trying too hard. Only thing missing was his tattoos glowing (Airbender style). Plus, I was already used to Destiny's Child (Smokescreen). I didn't feel like breaking in another turbo-revving young punk. The rest: Honestly, most feel like Hasbro holding on to the copyrights. Generic car robot #3? Let's see, we need to squat on Sideswipe. Lets give it that name. Sideswipe has a name and a personality to go with it and its clear half the time Hasbro doesn't even look that up.

For the second to last category you could do "Umm.. yeah, right" A line said by sideswipe when prime asked for his rocket pack in g1. Not seen sideswipe seem so disgusted anywhere else.

My first transformer was G1 Sideswipe back in 85. Never survived the rigorous trials of childhood, but I am happy to have MP Sideswipe in my collection as a nice homage

WFC Sideswipe. But I was introduced to transformers and Sideswipe in RID2015, so that design has a special place in my heart.

Sideswipe is one of my favorite Transformers. He's had a bunch of good designs that I never knew about. ... He's also got quite a few... bad ones.

I wish that going forward they merge the G1 design and the Bayverse design because Bayverse imo is peak Sideswipe and ofc, you gotta pay tribute to the original. The Prime aligned continuity design is probably the closest we'll get to what I wish new Sideswipe designs look like because the Bayverse movies made him one of my favourites from the design alone and the few scenes he got.

RID2015 turned him into an anime ninja which itself is sorta a callback to his ROTF having swords.

Unnecessary, but I wanted to address a Transformers Revenge of the Fallen repaint of Sideswipe figure exists called Swerve. He has the same body type, but a different head and apparently his quirk as a personality is a poor driver because of his work with toxic chemicals over the years. He's really intelligent, but a crappy driver because of fumes

I love Sideswipe. He's one of my favorite Autobots. G1, RID, and the ROTF designs are the best to me.

G2, especially with the green just does it for me. Almost cyberpunk, but still grounded. Now, a G2 colored Bayverse Sideswipe with a more G1 head and the Alt-mode still a lambo....OOF

My first ever favorite transformer was Sideswipe, and it was the RotF version. I loved the look of the Stingray (and also because I was a child and I was like "Oh my god my name is Ray too"), and having wheel legs, the skating around motion, the sword hands. Whoever designed it knocked it out of the park with that, and when I watched G1 for the first time a few days ago, I honestly just can't say he looks better than RotF xD

The best part about the wheel feet is all the options it provides for movement, transitions between either robot or alt mode and fight choreography; it really makes me wish we got to see more of him in the Bay movies. That opening scene where he chases down sideways in RotF is easily one of the coolest action scenes in ALL of Transformers, granted the Bay movies in general have great action sequences but Sideswipes movements are so fluid it looks like he took down Sideways without the least bit of effort. "Damn I'm good" 😎

Someone on Twitter posted a gender swapped drawing of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. I wish I could remember the artist. It was amazing.

I actually really like RID Sideswipe’s design, and his head shape is my favorite part. Also, Sideswipe was the best Bayverse design by far. And hot take, I don’t care for G1 Sideswipe, he’s too generic and boxy for my taste.

I actually prefer the Siege mold out of all of them, with original red or G2 black colors nudging ahead of each other depending on my mood that day. I Love the bayformer's Corvette altmode almost as much as the Lambo, but all bayformers are trash in robot mode so send it to jail.

ROTF Sideswipe to me is so much better than the original i think of this design every time. (blasphemous I know but please allow me to explain), g1 swipe just seems like a generic red car autobot next to ironhide (who i also recommend as a black truck) But as a sleek sexy silver corvette stringray concept that turns into a bot with skate feet with Baraka blades not to mention having quite the nicely designed shaped head? MWAH. i want a masterpiece one day please.
