Yea. It starts with a launch which goes 0-230mph within 1 second,it then goes up a 250m hill,then it does a 130 degree drop followed with a 125m loop,before doing another 50 inversions. It then goes through another launch,making it go 275mph. It will then go up a vertical hill which goes up to 300m. Then it drops into a tunnel and does another 100 inversions. It will then go up a 150m spiral before slowing down. Once it fully slows down,it does a free fall drop,which drops 150m + another 25m underground. It then does a reverse launch which goes 300mph back into the station. Truly intense!

Blimey - The Octonauts. That 0-90mph launch followed by a super intense helix with inversions that whip you side to side and airtime that sends you metres above your seat. Octonauts is the scariest ride ever imagined

When I first visited towers when I was about 7 or 8, every other thrill ride looked too scary for me, so I ended up going on Galactica and quite enjoyed it. I went back when I was 14 and rode all the other rides, so I have to thank Galactica for being my first ever thrill ride

Galactica, or Air as it was at the time, was the only one I dared go on. But I really enjoyed it for the most part. I wanted to go on it again, but sadly it was the end of the day by that point so I didn't get a chance or to try Nemesis. After the Smiler incident of 2015 though I was definitely put off from going back or going on rollercoasters ever again. But I would like to go on Galactica again and to try Nemesis, really. I'm a little sad I've lost my chance to ever ride the original Nemesis but never mind, at least it's been rebuilt! Maybe I will one day.

I would love to see some work on 13 to make it a longer 'through the woods' part of the ride for some re-rideability because it's just not worth the queue if you've been on it before. It's only enjoyable if you go on with someone who's never been on before

I actually still like this ride. I occasionally need a break from the intensity of re-riding nemesis and the smiler, and this and wickerman are my go to picks. Also, try thirteen if you're there at night, you can't see anything which makes the outdoor section more interesting

I do feel that Alton Towers really needs more flat rides. Last time I went I barely went on a single one! There are a few products from different manufacturers that I think would fit perfectly in the park (most notably on the old Ripsaw spot), but for now I can only dream.

I always see Alton Towers as more of a "Universal" style theme park where they can thrive on mostly Coasters and Dark Rides 👍 I'd rather see them focus on some modern dark rides if anything 🙂 would be really cool! But flat rides would be nice 👌

Agreed. I don't find it rough, just the restraints are uncomfortable if you're on the taller side... I only really notice it waiting for the launch and the brakes at the end.

Rita is sick - no issues there, I actually prefer it to wickerman. I rode Rita right at the front as my first ride of the day one trip and both my girlfriend and I were like..that was absolutely the best time we’d ever ridden it 😂 it was incredible Far far too nice to 13 imho, any stick Rita gets is far more deserved by 13. Spinball is great too - doesn’t get enough credit for being basically a walk on most days and pretty thrilling due to how fucking rickety and wild mouse feeling it is. I’d have to have smiler at 1, it’s just pure perfection and madness tightly packed into such a crammed area, super smooth, feels long and like you get a good ride - and it has that “let’s do it again” feeling as soon as you come off.

I’m happy that when you ranked the smiler that you looked past the accident

I absolutely loved Hex as it wasnt that scary as a kid. I've never been on 13 and wicker man nor the smiler. Air terrified me as a kid but it was amazing. I need to go back for the other rides. Nemises is a legend and nemises inferno is also amazing. Never rode Rita either 😅 Also love B and M and Intermin rides 👍 they are good.

@@rob235ioa1 bro chill out it’s an opinion 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ also yes it is, it doesn’t rely on gravity BUT it does use is it. The downward helix preceding the tunnel shared with CRR is a moment where the train picks up speed due to gravity. I have my opinions, and that’s okay. It’s simply because I like launches, I’m taller so prefer more accommodating seats (lap bars) and I just think that the smiler is incredible, as do lots of enthusiasts 😂

@@a_09.7 The reason why I say that is because, typically speaking, rollercoasters in the US are not as well themed. Yeah sure there’s the odd exception, but I find that rollercoasters in the UK and Europe just do theming so well 💪🏻 when we have the likes of The Smiler, where it is a world-class coaster all round (both layout AND theming), then we can’t exactly complain 😂😂

@@madyottoyotto3055 I'm really torn on that one myself as the valley is both a prime location for what could be a really epic coaster but also a unique aspect of the park with it being uniquely devoid of rides. Personally I really like the gardens breaking up the park and I wouldn't want any new ride to ruin that. If the cross valley coaster was far enough down the valley then it could work, but they'd have to be careful not to ruin the gardens.

Me and my girlfriend are going next week but have booked two days, mid week. Was booking two days to much? I have a feeling queues will be very small since kids are at school so we may run out of stuff to do for the second day

Great video though enjoyed it. I wouldn’t have Rita being 4th best. Worst major coaster at Alton Towers in my opinion. Uncomfortable on shoulder restraints and a disappointment after launch. Stealth though is awesome, way better launch then way better hill and one of best in UK.

I screamed almost the whole way through th3rteen lol! My first time going on a proper thriller rollercoaster! My stomach felt so weird

Lol the coronation street for Rita had me tripping 😂😂😂

No I would say my favourite Rita got so many cool Elements and the. I'd put Smiler since Smiler overheats a lot

I am certain that I won’t smash my legs but it’s the concept of a grey out that concerns me, is a grey out exactly what it seems, where your vision goes monotone for a few seconds, and does it cause physical pain?

Yes! Some love for Rita 🙌❤️ great list! If you can do Rita and Oblivion you'll be fine on those! 🙂 Grey outs are usually rare and varies from person to person. Best way to explain it is that dizzy feeling when you stand up too quick (seeing stars, feel a bit funny, no pain though!) Rita's more likely to do that than those two 🙂

Rita’s definitely my favourite too! She’s such a good coaster :)

So the I’ve never been to Alton towers so the only reason I watched this was because of when Tommyinnit, Wilbur Soot and philza went there😂 I’ve watched that video like 10 time😂

Me and my sister got in the spinball queue just after getting off the smiler and I’m just glad the queue for spinball was quite long because I would have thrown up
