Little known fact about the 08 Stanley cup ring. The 5 guys that were there for all 4 cups got an extra 4 diamonds to show they were there for all 4. The 5 guys were Lidstrom, holmstrom, draper, maltby, and McCarty.

Best comeback story in hockey PERIOD. You will NEVER see a team go dead last to Stanley Cup Champions ever again in our lifetimes. 2019 was a literal fairytale season for St. Louis, Missouri. And yes, Brett Hull was rumored to be drunk for a week straight following the Blues' Cup win

Blues ring, even as a native St. Louisan, is best overall because not ONLY does it look absolutely stunning but tells the non-verbal story of a team's literal "Worst to First" ascension to immortality. 2002 Detroit was always my favorite, but I never saw the 2014 LA ring before. That one is definitely the best.

Very good list!! The only thing I would change is putting the Ducks ring a bit higher. Very underrated ring and should be in the Top 12

Well seeing where the Blues ring listed was a pleasant surprise. Seeing where our team is currently headed is an unpleasant surprise.

Canes fan, I think the 2014 Kings is the best. Like you said, it’s probably the best blend of elegance and practicality of any of these rings

I know this might be a tall order, a lot of the Stanley Cup rings have meaning in the design. Might be interesting to see the research on that.

I’m taking ring 31! Being a jeweler and knowing what I know I’ll take that one big stone over any of these rings with a bunch of tiny stones. Or 7 pending the quality of the rubies. Best looking is lighting with the cup full of light blue stones.

In a few years once more are unveiled, it would be cool to see a USFL rings video! There are currently 4 rings, but more are sure to come in the near future. If needed, you can also combine that video with other Spring Leagues to beef it up. Oh, and some of the CFL Grey Cup rings look AWESOME, so they definitely deserve a video!

I am from New England so the Bruins are my favorite team and I think the ring they won in 2011 is correctly placed in the middle of this list. The Lightning have some great looking rings I will have to admit. Capitals have a really good looking one too but the Blues do have the best looking ring out of all of them just like this list says. Could have been the Bruins ring that year! So close!

I ❤ The lightning and their rings are just incredible

Rings are good and all but the real treat is each player and coaching staff get to bring home Lord Stanley Cup for a week, one local player had it out on the lake while ice fishing, I was ripn by on my sled and took a double take to see the cup out there :)

My favorite Stanley Cup ring doesn't exist. Thanks to the Penguins in 2016-17. I wonder how much those newer style rings cost. The trainers and all members of the team staff plus management and players all get one. Damn that is a lot of money. Not that they don't have it.

I'm big on NBA NFL and MLB n that order and I've never known a thing about NHL besides the highlights I see on ESPN. But I have to say my top 5 ring picks from this list would be the (5)Blackhawks'13 (4)Lightning'21 (3)Lightning'20 (2)Blues and (1)Capitals'18

NHL rings and trophies are the best in any sport. The 1995 New Jersey ring really needed ruby red in the logo, what a missed opportunity. They had it more right in the 1990 version and finally nailed it in 2002. The Blackhawks rings really needed to use colour in the headdress area. The Penguins collectively has the nicest rings. That 2008 one is especially nice. 2019 Tampa Bay Lightning takes the cake.

My personal favorite is the 2000 Devils ring as a life long Devils die hard fan but I agree that the logo could be better like the logo on the 2003 Devils ring but I am biased because of my love for the Devils but I agree with you on the 2004 ring that one just looks great and yes way ahead of it's time

i like the kings’ 13-14 ring the most. it looks sleek and the shape is satisfying lol

Washington Capitals ring is my favorite.. But all of Tampa's rings are cool too

Color is so important in these. Also I think the penguins 16-17 is definitely cooler but that’s just my opinion

Every ring that had only white diamonds really shouldve replaced a few of the diaomands with team colours for sure. Wouldve made all the difference

I appreciate the video and the commentary but it's kind of not fair to do a list like this yet considering how many teams won the cup before 1980 and also how technology (non-organic diamonds) during the last decade gives the recent champions a massive advantage.
